The sandwich is formed by filling a bread roll having a lengthwise cavity, closed at a distal end and open at a proximal end by inserting food items through said proximal end. A device for baking a bread roll with a pre-formed cavity is also disclosed. Device for inserting food items and condiments into the cavity are also disclosed.

Abstract: An expandable wrapper for an ice chest includes fastening elements at opposed ends for overlapping and securing the ends to one another. The wrapper is of expandable material and in combination with the fastening means will accommodate ice chests having a large range of girth dimensions. Preferably, the material is receptive to printing of words, logos and designs to suit a user's preferences and to personalize the wrapped ice chest. In a variant, the wrapper may be a sleeve slidable mounted on the ice chest and of expandable/elastic material to accommodate the difference in girth between the bottom and the upper end of the ice chest as well as to accommodate ice chests of different sizes.

The wrapper may be of sheet wood-fibre origin or other materials, the open wrapper ends permitting clear display of the goods labels. D-cuts into the wrapper provide displaceable tabs, for locating and/or separating the adjoining containers, and further integrating the wrapper with its contents, when strapped to form transit packages, able to withstand the rigors of palletized transit.

Abstract: A bottomless battery container for transporting and storing batteries is constructed of side panels and end panels. Each side panel is provided with an integral cushion assembly defining cutouts for battery terminals and battery filling caps. Each cushion assembly has a plurality of parallel score lines allowing it to be folded into a rectangular form having a top section, and end section and a bottom section with cutouts on the bottom section and an end section being adapted to receive battery filler caps and battery terminal posts. A glue panel extending from the bottom section is fastened to the interior upper portion of the side panel. When the container is assembled the outer walls of the end section of each cushion assembly abut each other with the dimension of the width of the cushion assembly being about one half the width of each end panel.

Abstract: A flexible sleeve disposable about at least a portion of a flower pot or floral grouping is disclosed wherein the flexible sleeve is formed of a flexible, expanded core polymeric material in which at least one surface of the material has been textured or modified so that the material is provided with a cloth-like appearance. The flexible sleeve having a cloth-like appearance may also be provided with perforations at preselected areas. A method for making the perforations in the sleeve in preselected areas further comprises both vertical perforations and circumferential perforations.
