Abstract: The disclosure relates to a coin wrapper comprising a sheet of transparent flexible material. The sheet can be snapped to enable it to be formed into a cylinder with predetermined dimensions. Inner circular ridges are provided near both ends of the cylinder to retain coins therein.
Abstract: A strong, flexible glass fiber carrier and a method of making glass fiber using such a carrier wherein the carrier is of a helically wound forming tube construction for carrying glass fiber thereon in generally circular windings during glass fiber processing, the tube being characterized by having good wet strength and resistance to heat and centrifugal forces. The helically wound tube has a helically wound inner ply having a spiral joint, preferably a spiral butt joint, at least one helically wound intermediate ply having a spiral overlapped joint, a helically wound outer ply having a spiral overlapped joint, and a release coating on the outer ply. The spiral overlapped joint of the outer ply is stacked, or positioned, above the spiral joint of the inner ply to reinforce the latter; the spiral overlapped joint of the intermediate ply(s) is (are) staggered from the other joints of the tube. In the method of making glass fiber, a glass fiber strand is wound around the forming tube and further processed.
Abstract: A multilayered molded plastic having at least one layer comprising pullulan. The molded plastic is low in gas permeability, transparent, high in strength and non-toxic.

Abstract: A package for a roll of continuous sheet material is shown having a first hollow circular core on which the sheet material is wound with a tube within the core. The tube is of greater length than the core so that the ends thereof extend beyond the continuous roll. End plates are provided on opposite ends of the roll and are apertured for receiving the extending sections of the tube. The end plates support the roll so that when two of such rolls, with associated apparatus are stacked, the end plates bear any loading force associated with the stacking. The end plates, the core, the tube and the roll of material are secured in a unitary structure by fasteners attached to the opposing ends of the second tube. A hollow covering member open at both ends is placed over the roll.
