  • Patent number: 7789256
Abstract: A container has door openings at opposite ends for dedicated loading from the discharge of a waste compactor at a door on a vertical hinge axis and unloading by tilt dumping through a swinging panel on a horizontal axis. A removable lid encompasses a substantial portion of the top. The container has standard intermodal fittings. The container can be loaded while on a compaction-reinforcement chassis with a structure that bears against the dumping side door to resist compactor forces. The container is reinforced notwithstanding the plural doors, including at a header and sill at the loading end, a rigid upper frame at traversing between the sides at the hinge for the dumping end, and by a container base including transverse fork-truck tine receptacles. • Patent number: 7635401
Abstract: This system provides an air-ventilating and cleaning element positioned within a housing. The housing contains multiple vents in the housing walls. The vents serve as channels that enable air to flow into and out of the air-ventilating device. The air-ventilating and cleaning element can vary and can range from a simple air ventilator to and an air purifier. The cleaning element can contain a filter element to further facilitate cleaning of the air. The cleaning element can be positioned in the housing on a track or pin to allow for movement of the cleaning element within the housing. Movement of the cleaning element may be desired in order to more efficiently clean air channeled through the device. Because of the ability to move the cleaning element, air flow through the device can be adjusted depending on a particular cleaning application.

  • Patent number: 6378769
Abstract: A pass through closure and delivery device permitting material to be safely passed through a slot in a partition or prison cell door. A container having first and second openings and first and second doors associated with each opening is disclosed for mounting on a partition or cell door having a slot therethrough. Each door on the container includes a latch that is operable from only one side of the cell door. A cam-operating attaching mechanism allows the container to be releasably mounted to a pair of track members affixed to the cell door with the slot therebetween. Using the pass through delivery device and the method of the present device, food or other materials can be safely delivered to an inmate inside a locked cell by mounting the container of the pass through delivery device on the cell door with one of the openings adjacent the first door covering the slot in the partition.
