Abstract: Various methods, systems, and devices for loading currency into an electronic wallet are provided. In general, a currency acceptance terminal can be configured to accept currency from a user for loading into the user's electronic wallet, which may be used to purchase products from a merchant. The currency acceptance terminal can be unmanned such that the currency can be accepted and loaded into the electronic wallet without a cashier or other employee handling the currency or the currency acceptance terminal.

Abstract: A valet ticket generation system that is operable to provide contribution to the operation of a valet service for a valet operator. The present invention includes a software configured to provide generation of valet tickets of at least two types wherein the two types of valet tickets are cross-referenced and operationally linked utilizing a first ticket identification number and a second ticket identification number. The second ticket identification number serves as a pin code for the first ticket identification number and is required to validate the first ticket identification number. The present invention further includes the providing of a unique website that is specific to the valet operator or the property on which the valet service is being provided. Further included is the ability to generate valet tickets on demand or have the tickets printed for inventory. Additional services are also facilitated by the system of the present invention.

The system or apparatus may include a fastener inventory portion that retains a plurality of fasteners; a user delivery portion; a transfer assembly that affords physical transport of a fastener selection from the fastener inventory portion to the user delivery portion; a fastener attribute assembly that inputs desired fastener attribute data (DFA data) regarding a desired fastener; a computer system that interfaces with the fastener attribute assembly to input the DFA data; maps the DFA data to at least one fastener candidate; determines a fastener selection amongst the at least one fastener candidate; determines a number of discrete units of the desired fastener that comprise the fastener selection; and controls the transfer assembly to retrieve the fastener selection from the fastener inventory portion and physically transport the fastener selection to the user delivery portion.

Abstract: The present disclosure is a method and apparatus to retrieve data from a power distribution unit. Apparatus to retrieve data from a power distribution unit may include a processor, memory and display which may be coupled to tracking circuitry of the power distribution unit in order to allow viewing of current operating conditions of the power distribution unit. In an embodiment of the disclosure, the processor may be configured to convert data from the tracking circuitry of the power distribution unit into a stream of character sets presented on the display which may be interpreted by a mobile device and translated by the mobile device into human readable information.

Abstract: A method for conditionally redeeming transportation credits through a transportation credit program having a sponsor may include verifying, through a validation network provider across a computer network, a recipient's eligibility for a transportation credit having one or more redemption conditions, issuing the transportation credit to the recipient, transmitting the transportation credit to a transportation service provider through the validation network provider across the computer network, and enforcing one or more of the redemption conditions by monitoring one or more of the redemption conditions using a mobile computing device.

The processor communicatively coupled with the computing memory is configured to execute the code and to control the camera to record a first image data of the user area that includes a plurality of first image sets recorded at a plurality of first times, store the first image data, and control the camera to record a second image data of the user area that includes a second image set recorded at a second time.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an improved network for tracking and managing mobile workers, which includes storing, tracking, and managing information associated with mobile workers and projects. The mobile workers may use a mobile communications system, such as a mobile device, to log their project with associated data, after which the data can be uploaded in real-time or stored locally until connectivity is available to the platform. Business owners or managers and individuals can review work performance and automatically create required business reports. The mobile worker may use the mobile device to clock in and out of each project through a worker presence verification method that may include obtaining an image/photograph or video of the worksite, location data (e.g., global positioning (GPS) coordinates), and a timestamp to ensure that the mobile worker is at the worksite and working on the appropriate project.

Abstract: Techniques for managing a return request may be provided. For example, a user may want to return an item that the user received from an item provider via an electronic marketplace. The user can take a picture of the item and transmit the image to a computer that determines that the user would like to return the item. The computer may also determine that the item is returnable (e.g., was provided to the user within an allowable timeframe, satisfies a constraint for returning the item). The computer can initiate a return of the item. In some examples, the computer can also determine a convenient return location or the reason that the user is returning the item to the item provider.

An embodiment may provide a system that generates a pattern that is unique to the location, and that may further be unique to a date or time, a transaction, or other criteria. Participants may capture the pattern, for example, using a mobile device, and transmit the pattern to a verification system. The verification system may decode, translate, decrypt or otherwise obtain information from the pattern. The information obtained from the pattern may be used to verify that the pattern came from the location. The participant may then receive credit for the visit. Abstract: An Electronic Article Surveillance (“EAS”) system is provided wherein the system is configured to detect passive radio frequency identification (“RFID”) tags. The system can be configured to read the passive RFID tags and produce a corresponding emulated EAS signal to initiate an alarm on a detected tag. The system can transmit the emulated EAS signal to a legacy EAS system thereby utilizing an existing EAS infrastructure. In some embodiments, a composite EAS system is configured to detect RFID tags and other EAS tags, wherein the composite EAS system comprises a legacy EAS system and an RFID-based EAS system configured to produce an emulated EAS signal.
