Abstract: A combination of a guiding plate for laterally supporting a rail and a wedge element for adjusting the position of the rail relative to a counter-bearing, on which the guiding plate is supported. The guiding plate has an end face which is associated with the wedge element and which extends in the longitudinal direction and a lower side associated with a substrate. Between the guiding plate and the wedge element is a positive-locking guide along which the wedge element can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the end face of the guiding plate. The guide between the wedge element may act as one joining partner and the guiding plate may act as another joining partner wherein, in one of the joining partners, there is formed a slot-like guide orientated along this joining partner and the projection of the other joining partner engages in a positive-locking manner.

Abstract: A mounting plate fixed to a longitudinally extending rail is secured by a plurality of bolts in a substrate. The mounting plate is formed at each bolt with an array of ridges. An adjuster plate formed with a vertically throughgoing transversely elongated slot through which the respective bolt extends has a lower face formed with an array of downwardly projecting generally complementary to the ridges of the mounting plate and an upper face formed with a central recessed seat defined between two longitudinally extending and parallel edges at a predetermined transverse spacing. A gauge plate formed with two parallel outer edges spaced apart by a distance substantially equal to the transverse spacing of the seat edges and with an eccentric circular hole of a diameter substantially equal to an outer diameter of the shank of the respective bolt that extends vertically through the circular hole fits in the seat.

Abstract: A rail fastener for fastening rails to a support structure, particularly adapted for use in switches, crossovers, frogs and the like where a track plate must support a pair of closely spaced or nonparallel rails. The rail fastening includes a rigid track plate to which the rail is adjacent and two fastener pads laterally spaced on the track plate and disposed between the track plate and the support structure. Each fastener pad has a rigid member and a resilient member bonded together and two pins to join the elastomeric member to the track plate.
