A water pump operates to make water flow through the trickling filter tube(s), pass through leakage holes and trickling holes, and drip into the battery component(s) in a water-drop manner, so as to supply an electric apparatus component with power. The bio-trickling filter box component(s) and the battery component(s) are combined, and the long-term impingement of water droplets on the battery component(s) can accumulate electric charge and generate the electricity. so as to provide power required by the electric apparatus component, which forms a biological treatment system that generates the power while treating the wastewater.

    Abstract: A wastewater spray distribution apparatus is operative to distribute wastewater produced by a sewage treatment system (10) onto a ground level (22) through operation of sprayers (118, 260). The exemplary sprayers include a manifold (142, 262) that includes outlet nozzles (158, 264) that can be readily removed and replaced. The exemplary manifold further includes interior areas bounded by surfaces that slope continuously downward from the outlet nozzles to the manifold inlet to assure the draining of water therefrom. Each of the nozzles include a base (140) which includes brake (207). A brake is provided in each nozzle and is adjustable to provide brake force to limit rotational movement produced by the thrust of water passing from the outlet nozzles to assure that the sprayer operates at the appropriate rotational speed. Alternative arrangements include manifolds including fixed or adjustable flaps and radially outwardly adjustable arms to adjust rotational properties.

The elements of the sealing connection assembly for a showerhead assembly are simple and are mounted inside the handheld showerhead. Therefore, repairing the sealing connecting assembly for a hand showerhead assembly is easy, and the appearance of the handheld showerhead is aesthetic.

    Abstract: A rotary distributor speed control system that uses hydraulic forces is provided. This rotary distributor speed control system is part of a trickling filter used in wastewater treatment. The trickling filter includes a tank which is filled with a porous filter media, a center column that extends through the center of the tank and holds a feed pipe through which influent wastewater flows, and distribution arms that extend radially from the center well. Each distribution arm has a forward side and a reverse side. The forward side and the reverse side each define at least one orifice. Slide gates are coupled with the distribution arms, and these gates can be moved so as to cover the orifices. A slide gate valve operator is also coupled with each arm for mechanically moving the slide gates in response to a change in influent feed flow, a change in arm speed, or external conditions.

The downstream conduit includes a deceleration nozzle for decelerating the velocity of the fluid flow and a downstream throat extending between the deceleration nozzle and the end of the downstream conduit adjacent the upstream conduit. The downstream throat receives the accelerated fluid from the upstream conduit and is sized to substantially prevent expansion of the accelerated fluid and thereby prevent fluid leakage and pressure loss between the upstream and downstream conduit.

A head bears against the body and is journaled upon the shank. A fastener upon the end portion retains the head against axial movement relative to the body. A pair of spaced jet flow orifices are mounted upon outer portions of the head extending generally parallel to the central axis but on oppositely extending axes inclined at a small acute angle to axes parallel to the central axis to provide a balanced rotational reactive power torque to the head, there being a pair of fluid passages in the head communicating with the ports and with the orifices respectively, the orifices adapted to provide high velocity streams of pressurized fluid to a surface to be cleaned.
