Abstract: A multi-function shower head including an upper housing, a lower housing, a base plate, the base plate having at least water passages and direct spray holes there-through for selectively enabling water outflow from the upper housing through the base plate, a sliding ring held by the lower housing against the base plate and having at least a second spray pattern, and at least one actuator to selectively align the second spray pattern in the sliding ring with the water passage in the base plate and to adjust from a first spray pattern to the second spray pattern. The base plate and the sliding ring are arranged and disposed with an operating mechanism to automatically adjust the water flow from the second spray pattern to the first spray pattern upon interrupting water flow through, and pressure to the base plate.

Abstract: An automatic return shower head and a use method thereof are provided. The automatic return shower head comprises a handle, a valve body, a water distribution disc, a switching return assembly and a shower head body configured to be connected with the handle and having a water outlet passage communicating with a water supply passage of the handle. The valve body is provided with water distribution hole(s), fixed to a joint between the shower head body and the handle, and located between the water supply passage and the water outlet passage. The water distribution disc is provided inside the joint and rotates relative to the valve body. The switching return assembly comprises a switching assembly linked with the water distribution disc, a knob provided on a wall surface of the joint and linked with the switching assembly, and a return portion linked with the knob.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide an adapter valve assembly and a method for installing an adapter valve assembly that allows for independent control of fluid flow at an individual nozzle assembly. The adapter valve assembly can include a ball valve that can be actuated by electricity to change its position. The adapter valve assembly can function independent of the pressure or flow within the system and can be actuated as desired by the user. The adapter valve assembly can also have internal threads which can connect with the existing external threads on nozzle assemblies already installed in the field. Therefore, the adapter valve assembly can be used for retrofit applications.

The trajectory of each individual jet is controlled by orienting the nozzle-like feature that produces each individual jet, thereby producing a variety of spray patterns. This is accomplished utilizing the flexible properties of elastomeric or rubber-like materials. In addition to allowing for deformation or movement to remove possible obstructions to the fluid flow, this flexibility property also permits for specific, controlled movements, whereby it is possible to control the trajectory of the fluid issuing from the device. These rubber-like materials can include specific features that allow the material to be deformed in a controlled fashion so as to predictably control the trajectory of the streams issuing from the individual nozzles.

In the first spray position the liquid compression chamber has a first volume and in the second spray position the liquid compression chamber has a second volume. Preferably, the liquid spray is formed without a swirl chamber.

The device may include a rotatable hub having a first barrel for producing a first spray pattern and a second barrel for producing a second spray pattern. Abstract: A showerhead for personal hygiene is provided that includes a spray face in fluid communication with a cavity by way of a plurality of nozzle apertures. The cavity receives water from a water supply. A spray selector controls fluid flow between the cavity and the nozzle apertures. A battery-electric motor or a kinetic energy storing spring is provided as a power supply for an actuator that provides mechanical communication between the power supply and the selector to move the selector and thereby alter the fluid spray pattern from the spray face. A user interface provides a user with selective control over movement of the actuator and the movement of the selector to sequentially provide multiple spray patterns from the spray face without intermediate manual intervention between the multiple spray patterns emitted from the spray face.

Abstract: The present invention includes a swinging switching structure of outlet device fixed below a shower body, a water-dividing body sealed and fixed above an outlet device; said water-dividing body having at least two water-dividing bores so as to connect to the water cavities with different function of said outlet device having a movable switching device in the shower, and by the co-operation of shower and water-supply pipe-joint, when flapped, the shower will swing and inclined, then the movable switching device will control the water to spray out through different bores of water-diving body, thus achieving the switching of function. This water switching function of the shower is more efficient and flexible.
