  • Patent number: 11944991
Abstract: A dispensing assembly for dispensing fluid generally includes a container having a handle located toward an upper portion of the container, and a sprayer having arms extending away from the sprayer. The arms of the sprayer define a channel configured to receive at least part of the handle of the container within the channel to thereby couple the sprayer to the container. Such a dispensing assembly can be made by forming the container with a handle located toward an upper portion of the container, and forming the sprayer with the arms such that the arms can be used to couple the sprayer to the handle of the container, where the arms extend away from the sprayer and define the channel for receiving at least part of the handle of the container into the channel.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and device to control a spray pattern produced from a spraying device consisting of a plurality of individual jets that form the resulting spray pattern. The trajectory of each individual jet is controlled by orienting the nozzle-like feature that produces each individual jet, thereby producing a variety of spray patterns. This is accomplished utilizing the flexible properties of elastomeric or rubber-like materials. In addition to allowing for deformation or movement to remove possible obstructions to the fluid flow, this flexibility property also permits for specific, controlled movements, whereby it is possible to control the trajectory of the fluid issuing from the device. These rubber-like materials can include specific features that allow the material to be deformed in a controlled fashion so as to predictably control the trajectory of the streams issuing from the individual nozzles.

Abstract: A rotating bi-directional pneumatic gun has a body and a guiding tube mounted rotatably in the body. The guiding tube has an outer surface, a front notch, a rear notch, a front groove and a rear groove. The front notch and the rear notch are defined longitudinally in the outer surface of the guiding tube and are kept from communicating with each other. The front groove and the rear groove communicate respectively with the front notch and the rear notch and each have multiple inclined bores extending respectively toward the front end and the rear end of the barrel. Rotating the guiding tube can change the direction of air flow of the pneumatic gun, and the rotating bi-directional pneumatic gun is convenient to operate and easy to assemble.

  • Patent number: 7694897
Abstract: A showerhead has at least a first set of nozzles and a second set of nozzles for discharging water. The showerhead discharges water according to one of multiple water delivery functions, where a first water delivery function corresponds to water being discharged through only the first set of nozzles, a second water delivery function corresponds to water being discharged through only the second set of nozzles and a third water delivery function corresponds to water being discharged through the first and second sets of nozzles simultaneously. The spacing between the first set of nozzles and the second set of nozzles is carefully selected so that the third water delivery function corresponds to the integrated nozzles of the first and second sets of nozzles. As a result, the third water delivery function provides a coherent and balanced water flow resulting in a more pleasant feel.

  • Patent number: 7494075
Abstract: A pressure regulating valve reduces the increased internal pressure in an aerosol spray can, filled with compressed gas, to a working pressure level for a spray valve (12). A regulating piston (52) is kept in equilibrium by a restoring force, and a sealing point (66, 68) is provided, which is closed at a pressure in the pressure regulation chamber (84) that is above the regulated pressure level. To prevent the precision of regulation from being adulterated by the decreasing internal pressure of the can as its contents are progressively withdrawn, a sealing means (86, 66; 67) is proposed, which seals off one free end of the piston (52, 74) from the internal pressure of the can and the regulated pressure. The variable internal pressure of the can is therefore no longer able to act on any axial face of the piston (52), and despite what may be a smaller piston face area, the precision of regulation is improved.

Abstract: The present invention provides a showerhead that allows a bather to switch among at least three different water delivery functions. In the first function, the showerhead delivers a concentrated fluttering spray at a rate not to exceed 2.0 GPM. In the second function, the showerhead delivers a combined spray pattern, wherein the fluttering spray and a radially dispersed precision spray are simultaneously delivered to the bather at a rate not to exceed 2.5 GPM for the combined water flow. In the third function, the showerhead delivers the precision spray pattern at a rate not to exceed 2.5 GPM. The combination spray pattern is effected without compromising either the desirable massaging and cleaning effect of water delivery or the inherent water conservation benefits. In addition, the showerhead of the present invention provides an automatic return feature for return of the showerhead to the first function when water pressure to the showerhead falls below a predetermined bottom threshold.
