  • Patent number: 11918732
Abstract: A method for manufacturing an spray device includes assembling at least one spray nozzle plate into a thermoplastic holder, while controlling the temperature of the spray nozzle plate and/or the holder and as a result at least locally plastically deforming the holder permanently. After the thermoplastic deformation of a seat of the holder, a diameter of the seat of the holder upstream of the spray nozzle plate exceeds a diameter of the seat of the holder downstream of the nozzle plate. The thermoplastic holder may have a tapered seat, where the smallest cross section of the tapered seat is smaller than the spray nozzle plate, where a widest side of the tapered seat is pointing towards a supply side of the liquid.

Abstract: A shower head includes a shower head body having a water inlet channel, a first leather cup, a surface cover assembly, a water dispensing plate located between the shower head body and the surface cover assembly, and an adjusting device having a driving mechanism and a rotating mechanism. A first water outlet communicating with the water inlet channel penetrates the first leather cup. Two sides of the water dispensing plate respectively cooperate with the shower head body and the surface cover assembly to enclose an installation cavity and a water outflow cavity. The water dispensing plate has a first water passage hole communicating with the water outflow cavity. The driving mechanism is rotatably connected to the shower head body. The rotating mechanism is located inside the installation cavity and abuts against the first leather cup and the water dispensing plate. The driving mechanism drives the rotating mechanism to rotate to adjust a water outflow area.

Abstract: A spray cap for a spray container includes a tubular wall for connection to the spring container, a cap plate in which a plurality of spray slits is formed and a valve to admit air into the space defined by the wall but which prevents the outflow of liquid from the space to the exterior. The cap plate includes a support plate of polymeric material in which an aperture is formed. An insert of more resilient polymeric material is retained in the aperture and forms a liquid-tight seal with the support plate. The spray slits are formed in the insert. The support plate and the insert define a liquid flow path between the space and the spray slits and include respective opposed annular sealing areas which are situated upstream of the spray slits and are biased into contact with one another by the resilience of the insert.

Abstract: An onboard washing system provides the ability to wash specific areas at the rear of a concrete truck, without requiring an operator to climb a ladder or climb on the truck. Certain specified areas which are traditionally difficult to wash, including the inside of the charge hopper, the interior portions of the discharge chute, and rear portions of the mixing drum structure, can now be washed in an automated and efficient manner. The truck-mounted washing system has components which are specifically positioned to cause washing fluid (water) to be sprayed or directed toward predetermined areas in an efficient and effective manner. The system also includes hand-held washing wands or washing mechanisms, which allow an operator to easily reach additional zones or additional areas at the rear of the truck, which are lower. Most significantly, the truck-mounted wash systems and the hand-held nozzle systems (wand) are all operable while an operator remains on the ground.

  • Patent number: 8985483
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and device to control a spray pattern produced from a spraying device consisting of a plurality of individual jets that form the resulting spray pattern. The trajectory of each individual jet is controlled by orienting the nozzle-like feature that produces each individual jet, thereby producing a variety of spray patterns. This is accomplished utilizing the flexible properties of elastomeric or rubber-like materials. In addition to allowing for deformation or movement to remove possible obstructions to the fluid flow, this flexibility property also permits for specific, controlled movements, whereby it is possible to control the trajectory of the fluid issuing from the device. These rubber-like materials can include specific features that allow the material to be deformed in a controlled fashion so as to predictably control the trajectory of the streams issuing from the individual nozzles.

  • Patent number: 7735758
Abstract: A drip irrigation hose includes a tube for conducting pressurized water through its interior and formed with a plurality of outlets for emitting water at longitudinally-spaced locations along the length of the tube; and a plurality of flow-control elements fixed with respect to the inner surface of the tube at longitudinally-spaced locations thereof to define, with the inner surface, a plurality of labyrinths each having an inlet communicating with the interior of the tube and an outlet communicating with a tube outlet for emitting water there from at a slow rate. The labyrinth includes a bottom wall constructed to produce, adjacent to the bottom wall, a significant laminar flow of water in which the laminar flow decreases, and thereby turbulent flow increases, with an increase in the water pressure within the tube to thereby provide pressure-compensation for the water flow through the respective tube outlet.

  • Patent number: 7686235
Abstract: A check valve assembly has a valve seat for positioning in a passageway between a water supply and an outlet device such as a sprinkler head or a pipe section. A disc valve is located on the water supply side of the valve seat, and a separate actuator is movably mounted on the opposite side of the seat for movement between an operative position extending through the valve seat to hold the valve in the open position, and an inoperative, retracted position. The disc valve is moved by the actuator into the open position when the sprinkler head is located at the outlet. Release or removal of the actuator as a result of removal of the sprinkler head or other outlet device will allow fluid pressure at the fluid supply end of the passageway to urge the valve into the closed position.

  • Patent number: 7654080
Abstract: The invention relates to a dosing system comprising a dosing means for metering a liquid, especially an aqueous urea solution used for the after treatment of exhaust gases generated by combustion engines. The liquid can be conveyed from a reservoir into an exhaust manifold through the dosing means in a normally operating conveying device. According to the invention, at least one area that is located between a dosing point and the reservoir and is impinged upon by the liquid can be emptied counter to a normal transport direction of the liquid.

  • Patent number: 7597276
Abstract: An ultra low volume pressure independent spray head is disclosed whereby low flow characteristics of point source devices can be applied to larger wetted areas. Device uses elastomeric flow control where the emission channel is large enough to purge particulate matter from it's channels and the spray head has large enough orifices to allow the particulate to pass unimpeded through the discharge arena. This device is designed to utilize flow rates of less than 2 gallons per hour and can compensate for pressures between 10 and 60 pounds per square inch. Construction of this device is through the use of polymers, but other materials can be used as the design is such as to allow for a large variety of applications. This device can be used in the agricultural or horticultural application and is adapted for use in vineyards and can be used singularly or in multiple head arrangements. Design of inlet portion allows for use with flexible or rigid water supply means.

Abstract: A spray device including a casing and a spray bottle. A closing element is arranged in a nozzle. The closing element substantially fills the nozzle in order to minimize residual amounts of a drug in the nozzle. The overall purpose is to protect the spray device from contamination and evaporation. A method for manufacturing with as few parts as possible a spray device that by usually manual action causes the spray bottle to effect a pumping movement which triggers a spray dose through the nozzle. The device is intended to increase dose accuracy and facilitate the actual pumping.

  • Publication number: 20090090796
Abstract: A spray nozzle assembly includes a pressure dependent variable spray orifice and an internal chamber which is at least partially bound by a flexibly deformable sidewall. At its distal end, the sidewall terminates at a distal face defining the spray orifice extending therethrough. A metering member extends distally from the internal chamber and through at least a portion of the spray orifice. As the pressure of a liquid supplied to the internal chamber by a liquid supply pathway varies, the flexibly deformable sidewall expands or contracts in response thereto. As the sidewall expands and contracts, the distal face moves relative to the metering member to change the effective size of the spray orifice.
