  • Patent number: 9505014
Abstract: A rotary atomizing head enables cleaning by decomposing from the atomizing head, and enables internal cleaning without decomposing to individual components when paint is changed to a new one of another color. A structural component has a front wall acting as a hub, side wall extending rearward from an outer circumferential perimeter of the front wall to make a circumferentially continuous plane, legs each having a pawl and a bottom wall. The structural component is detachably mounted in a central concavity of an atomizing head body. A bottom wall of the structural component has formed a spoon-cut recess. The central concavity has an inclined circumferential wall, and the side wall of the structural component has an inclined outer circumferential surface complementary with the circumferential wall of the atomizing head body to get in substantial contact with the circumferential wall throughout the entire area of the outer circumferential wall.

Abstract: A rotary atomizing-head type coating machine, wherein a paint passage for flowing a paint to a rotary atomizing-head, a turbine air passage flowing a turbine air to the turbine of an air motor, a discharge air passage for flowing the turbine air after driving the turbine to the outside in the form of a discharge air, and a heat insulating air discharge passage of a heat insulated air passage axially extending while surrounding the discharge air passage and allowing hot heat insulated air to flow therein are formed in the bottom part of a housing body forming a housing. Thus, even if the turbine air expanded in a heat insulated state and reduced in temperature flows in the discharge air passage, the housing can be prevented from being cooled by the discharge air by flowing a heat insulated air with a temperature higher than that of the discharge air in the heat insulated air discharge passage.

Abstract: An atomizer including an air motor and a rotary atomizing head, mounted in a front side of a housing member, while a high voltage generator applying a high voltage to paint through the air motor is mounted in a rear side of the housing member. A cover member is fitted on the housing member to cover an outer surface of the housing member. Opposite axial ends of the cover member are fitted on and attached to opposite axial ends of the housing member so as to leave an annular gap space between the cover member and the housing member. The annular gap space keeps almost entire radially confront areas of the cover member and the housing member, preventing high voltage electrostatic charges on the outer surfaces of the cover member from leaking through the housing member.

Abstract: The examples described herein provide methods and equipment for an anti-oxidation spraying on a steel billet. In some examples, when the billet at the temperature of 400° C.-1000° C. enters the predetermined spraying region, a plurality of anti-oxidation spraying devices are used to perform an anti-oxidation spray on the billet in two or more directions, thereby forming directly an anti-oxidation coating on the steel billet at 400° C.-1000° C. By using the example method and equipment described herein, on-line spraying of anti-oxidation coating on the steel billet can be performed under high-temperature condition, thereby reducing an oxidation burning loss rate of the steel billet.
