Abstract: An anti-theft device for monitoring Type C USB connector. An alarm module has a first terminal and a second terminal. A male plug has a first conductive member in electrical communication with the first terminal and a second conductive member in electrical communication with the second terminal. When the male plug is positioned within the receptacle, a closed electric circuit forms between the first and second conductive members. The alarm module supplies an electric current to the first terminal and monitors the electric current flowing to the second terminal. Responsive to detecting an interruption in the electric current flowing between the first and the second terminals, the alarm module transmits an alarm signal.

Abstract: A hybrid reclosable fastener with both mechanical mating and adhesive reclosable mating elements and a method of forming the hybrid reclosable fastener is described herein. Mechanical mating elements include mating portions having cooperating coupling parts configured to provide mechanical mating along with adhesive mating elements including an adhesive material formed on the cooperating coupling parts configured to provide an adhesive mating.

Abstract: A button includes a button body that is placed over a first main surface of a sheet having the first main surface and a second main surface opposing to the first main surface, the button body having a hole over the first main surface; a fixing member including a base that is placed over the second main surface, and a shaft that projects from the base and passes through the hole from the second main surface towards the first main surface side, in which a distal portion of the shaft includes: a plate-like base portion provided over the button body and covering the hole; and a plurality of ribs integrally formed with the base portion and onto a surface of the base portion, and radially extending from a center to a circumference of the base portion.

Abstract: A fastener for mounting a panel to a supporting structure includes a fastener part having a base with an upper and lower side. A connector is adapted to engage with another fastener part projecting from the upper side of the base. The lower side of the base is adapted to be adhesively connected to a substrate and incorporating a surface configuration that promotes a mechanical connection with an adhesive. The lower side surface configuration includes a protrusion extending from the base to a crown. The protrusion includes an undercut portion configured to form a mechanical connection with the adhesive. In use adhesive fills between the protrusions and forms a mechanical connection with the undercut portions when hardened.

Abstract: A fastening arrangement comprises a fastening element provided with a fastening portion having a planar outer side surface, and a hot-melt adhesive that can be melted in order to fasten the fastening element to a substrate. The fastening element is provided with a receiving recess that is open in the direction of the planar outer side surface. A retaining structure is provided in the region of the receiving recess. The hot melt adhesive is configured as a compact whose shape is adapted to the retaining structure such that the compact can be connected to the fastening element. The fastening arrangement can thus be prefabricated without incipient melting of the hot-melt adhesive.

Abstract: A weld button for garments, i.e. a button, snap or interlocking fastener has fastener halves on two parts of a garment which are releasably joined and in which each of the fastener halves is affixed to the garment by welding two parts of the respective fastening half together.

Abstract: A male-mounted tape is composed of a plurality of synthetic resin male snaps moulded and fastened onto a cloth tape at certain intervals in such a way that their engagement sides and non-engagement sides, which are asymmetric to each other, are on the front side and the back side of the cloth tape respectively. A female tape is composed of a plurality of synthetic resin female snaps moulded and fastened onto a cloth tape at the same intervals as the male snaps in such a way that their engagement sides and non-engagement sides, which are asymmetric to each other, are on the front side and the back side of the cloth tape respectively. The cloth tapes, on which the female and male snaps are formed and fastened, are not provided with holes for mounting the snaps.

Abstract: A method of making snap type hook-and-eye fasteners for garments such as brassieres in which the fabric halves are injection molded on respective tapes, the tapes are covered with brushed fabric which is welded to the tapes along longitudinal welds having gaps in them. The tapes are cut across at the gaps leaving pockets into which parts of the garment can be introduced to secure the tapes on the garments.

Abstract: An adhesive mounted device clip. In one embodiment a carabine styled clip is attached to an adhesive backed mounting foot by means of a strain relieving cord loop. The resulting assembly can permanently mount to any handheld electronic device, such as a cellular telephone (base object) by means of the adhesive backed mounting foot. The carabine clip can be used to attach the assembly to other secondary objects. Thus rendering the device attached to the secondary object. The strain-relieved connection allows for a range of free motion between the device and secondary object.

Thus, the towel will not slide off the hook. The aperture can include a hole in the towel or a loop connected to the towel, and can be disposed within a border region, within a design region or within a bulk region of the towel. Examples of the soft reinforcing device include fabric, stitching, plastic, rubber and glue.

The engagement protrusions (20) of the male parts (6) stand upright directly from the cloth tape (30) without the aid of a base. The male and female parts preferably have a ring-shaped appearance when viewed from either the front or the back.
