  • Patent number: 11065523
Abstract: A punching bag kit includes a suspension line, a target having a fastening mechanism for suspending the target from the suspension line in a manner allowing the target to move along the suspension line, and a blocker positioned on the suspension line at a configurable distance from the target. The blocker is frictionally held in place on the suspension line at the configurable distance. Movement of the target along the suspension line is restricted upon the fastening mechanism of the target impacting the blocker. The blocker is physically larger than the fastening mechanism thus impeding travel of the fastening mechanism along the suspension line past the blocker. The blocker may have holes through which the suspension line passes, and a spring-loaded friction device may be mounted on the suspension line between two holes. The suspension line may travel around a user in plurality of segments suspending one or more targets.

  • Patent number: 4607414
Abstract: Device for tying an elongate object, a cable bundle for example, having a band to be tensioned round the object and a lock connecting the band ends, which exhibits a passage orifice for at least one band end and a bore oriented transversely thereto, which contains a pin to be driven through the band located in the passage orifice. For better securing of the pin in its closed position, the pin and the bore exhibit, on their side facing the object to be tied, catch edges engaging behind each other in the releasing direction of the pin.

  • Patent number: 4454644
Abstract: A method of making a clamp used for a supercharger in an internal combustion engine is initiated by cutting out an unworked clamp half from a plate material. The half is then formed such that it is semicircular in front elevation and the opposite ends extend outwardly. Other clamp half is made in the same manner. An unworked link is cut out from a plate material and then its plane strain is corrected. Further, the link is chamfered and hardened. The halves are arranged in circle and the worked link is inserted into one ends of the halves. Finally, these ends are curled around the link.

  • Patent number: 4446603
Abstract: A meter clamping ring for securing an electric meter housing of the type haing a peripheral mounting flange to a meter socket, comprising a clamping ring having ends with portions adapted to overlap to align lock receiving openings. One end is provided with a housing for enclosing the lock. In one embodiment of the invention, the end portions have cooperating means allowing them to be snapped together into the bolt-receiving position to facilitate assembly of the bolt. Resilient means is provided on the inside of the ring which is dimensioned to be flexed against the meter mounting flange when the ring is assembled to prevent any looseness between the ring and the mounting flange resulting from manufacturing tolerances.

  • Patent number: 4083087
Abstract: A clamp assembly for securing a band about a flexible pipe includes a plurality of substantially U-shaped members clamping the ends of the band together as they are wrapped about pin members having axial undercuts therein. The pins are so disposed that their undercuts face away from one another, and legs of the clamps have ends complementary in shape with the undercuts so as to force portions of the band lying between the pins and the clamp member into intimate contacting engagement with the undercuts.
