Abstract: Closure clips and a process for the production of closure clips of strip-form or wire-form material for the closure of tubular or bag-like packagings. In the process, a substantially wave-form profile with successive first and second apex points is stamped along the strip-form or wire-form material, the first apex point forming a clip bottom, flanks respectively adjoining the first apex point on each side thereof form clip limbs that are bent over in a U-shape and the second apex point forms limb ends that are bent over outwardly with respect to the U-shape at which two adjacent closure clips are separably connected. The strip-form or wire-form closure clip material is pierced inwardly with respect to the U-shape so that a raised material portion is formed at the limb inside.

Abstract: A two-part clip construction includes a U-shaped clip made from a plastic material with the legs of the clip spaced so as to fit over and then be deformed through a through passage in a leg locking member. The construction is especially designed to permit utilization of polymerics for forming the clips.

Abstract: The invention concerns a sealing clip (10) for bags, foil tubes or the like, said sealing clip (10) comprising a wire section, a pre-curved clip base (12) and two clip legs (14) adjoining the latter on both sides. The two clip legs taper constantly from their clip base ends to their free ends. The invention also concerns a wire section for sealing clips of this type which tapers constantly towards both ends. The invention finally concerns a matrix (30) for sealing the sealing clip and having two slide channels (36, 38) which each narrow conically from an inlet point.
