Circular Work Engageable Patents (Class 24/339)
  • Patent number: 4602817
Abstract: The specification discloses a modular furniture system in which a modular furniture assembly is made of a pair of elongated base frames to which a support element is mounted to serve as a chair, seat, table, or the like. Front and rear shrouds are secured over the base frames to mask them from view and end panels are provided to cover either or both sides depending on whether the unit is to be ganged against other units. Upholstery covering is provided which utilizes a unique strip hook for securing to a cross piece on the base frames and which includes front and rear "button" flanges for slipping into a space between the shroud at the front or rear of the chair and the support member. The "button" flange or strip is then rotated so that it cannot be removed from the gap into which it was inserted. A unique toggle flange ganger clip is provided for ganging adjacent module units together.

  • Patent number: 4445586
Abstract: A mounting device for a steering cylinder, for example of a tractor, with an adjustable-track front axle. The mounting device comprises a multiply bent spring arm having an eye which can be releasably mounted to the half axle through the use of a plug member or a bolt threadably fixed to the axle. The spring arm has loops which engage around the steering cylinder and which receive the hydraulic oil connection thereof, in order to prevent undesirable twisting which can cause damage to the hydraulic lines.

  • Patent number: 4413922
Abstract: A clamping member for forming a branch-off seal between a recoverable sleeve and more than one substrate extending from an end of the sleeve, comprises at least two interengageable parts that define channels. The parts are assembled on the end of the sleeve such that the clamping member defines ducts for the substrates. Use of a clamping member having interengageable parts, rather than an integral member, makes fixing at the end of the sleeve easier.

  • Patent number: 4358080
Abstract: A fastener clip for detachably securing functional elements to a support plate through threaded pins rigidly joined to the plate which includes holding members forming channels which receive the functional components and a fastening hole between the channels and adapted to receive the threaded fastener. The fastening hole has an inside diameter slightly less than the outside diameter of the pin and is interrupted by a plurality of apertures extending through opposite side walls of the clip between the channels. Semi-circular wall portions at the end of each aperture define the fastening hole and elastically yield when the clip is forced on the threaded pin.

  • Patent number: 4312487
Abstract: A plastic device for supporting an elongated object comprises a plurality of looped strips of successively greater sizes from the smallest looped strip at the innermost position with the opposite terminals of the looped strips continuously joined into one lateral edge of a common base piece. These looped strips are each provided on the outer side at the central portion thereof with a fastening piece adapted to be brought into engagement with a hook provided on the remaining lateral edge of the base piece. The supporting of an elongated object with this plastic device is accomplished by selecting from among the looped strips the strip of a size befitting the diameter of the elongated object, wrapping it around the elongated object and bringing the fastening piece of the selected strip into engagement with the hook of the base piece.

  • Patent number: 4309120
Abstract: A compound clamp having two crossed resilient yokes formed from an integral metal piece. The yokes comprise a flat base section for the two yokes, two long resilient and apertured arms projecting from a first set of opposite sides of the base section to define a first generally concave long yoke configuration, and two short resilient and apertured arms projecting from a second set of opposite sides of the base section to define a second generally concave short yoke configuration. The insertion of a first elongated element through the apertures of the long yoke and insertion of a second elongated element through the apertures of the short yoke effects the adjustable cross clamping of the two elongated elements.
