Abstract: A necklace accessory, the necklace accessory comprising: a folded strap, the folded strap comprising: an inner portion located on one side of a fold of the folded strap; an outer portion located on the opposite side of the fold of the folded strap; an inner internal volume located inside the inner portion; an outer internal volume located inside the outer portion; a first magnet located inside the inner internal volume; a second magnet located inside the outer internal volume, and configured to be magnetically attracted to the first magnet; where the folded strap is configured to removeably attach to a necklace, and the first magnet is configured to magnetically attach to the second magnet with a shirt between the first magnet and second magnet whereby when attached to the necklace and shirt, the necklace accessory prevents the necklace from rotating about a user's neck.
Abstract: An eyeglass holder device for holding multiple eyeglasses of a variety of kinds, reading glasses, sunglasses, or protective eyewear type glasses used in a workshop, machine shop, laboratory, or other such work spaces. The eyeglass holder of the invention has a substantially crescent shaped front body portion having a plurality of flexible and thin substantially concave shaped rib structures attached to the inside surface of the front body structure creating the necessary voids to facilitate hanging the eyeglasses on the holder. An important function of the flexible rib structures is to deflect and exert tension on the eyeglasses and hold them stable within the voids to prevent them from moving around and getting damaged. The rectangular shaped back of the eyeglass holder has a recessed back side that accommodates a double sided adhesive tape to mount the holder on to a suitable surface.
Abstract: A retainer for a bag shoulder strap, including a flat longitudinal member having a retaining portion on one end, a pin retaining member secured to one side of the flat longitudinal member, and a pin member. The pin retaining member defines a transverse space between the retaining member and the longitudinal member adjacent the longitudinal member other end, and also includes wings spaced from the longitudinal member and projecting inwardly from opposite sides adjacent the longitudinal member one end. The pin member includes a transverse portion pivotally trapped in the transverse space, and first and second pin legs extending longitudinally from opposite ends of the transverse portion to pointed ends adjacent the longitudinal member one end. In a securing position the pointed ends of the pin legs are between the pin retaining member wings and the longitudinal member.
Abstract: 1. A fastening system includes a straight pin having a cap end, a shank and a pointed end; a planar border having a base and two integrally formed substantially parallel planar flexible peripheral legs of like length, distal ends of each of the legs having apertures proportioned for slidable receipt of the shank of the straight pin; and an elongate securement leg integrally dependant from the base in a direction of the distal ends of the flexible legs, a distal end of the securement leg including a female surface press-fittably complemental about the pointed end of the straight pin. The pin may be inserted through the apertures when they are aligned with each other, and then held by the female surface to enable securement of a planar peripheral legs to each other.
Abstract: A hook for securing a tarp to a bale of hay. The inventive device includes a substantially straight main shank having an insertion tip formed at a first end thereof to permit insertion of the shank into a bale of hay. An engaging hook is integrally formed at a second end of the main shank and arranged to mount a bungee cord utilized to secure a tarp over the associated bale of hay.
Abstract: A hanger (10) slides into a book, gripping it securely with a spring tension and a receptacle bar (26) slanted so as to cause each book hung therefrom to slide by force of gravity to the bar's lowest point.
Abstract: For anchoring a mat to the carpet of an automobile against forward movement, a clip for engaging the mat at its rearward edge is operated by a protector plate which shields the clip from impact while also serving to operate the jaws between an open and a closed position. The clip is linked to a hook so as to permit independent lateral and longitudinal movement by the clip with respect to the hook. The hook has a forward facing pin portion for engaging the automobile carpet and an anchoring stud portion extending substantially perpendicularly to said pin portion also for engaging said carpet and resisting the accidental removal of the pin. The hook is made of a springy material and is so shaped as to cause the carpet to be pinched between the pin portion and another part of the hook, thereby providing additional resistance to the withdrawal of the pin from the carpet.
Abstract: A wire rope traction device or cable tire chain includes lateral cables and a plurality of cross cables for extending between the lateral cables across the sole of a tire. Flat metal members secured to the lateral cables and ends of the cross cables form low profile articulated connections therebetween substantially adjacent the sole of the tire and radially outwardly from the tire sidewall flexing point for enabling a tighter grip on the tire by the tire chain. A belt attachment is employed in securing the traction device to a tire and is provided with a hook which is readily released for removal of the traction device.
Abstract: A wire rope traction device for tires, and particularly radial tires, includes lateral cables and a plurality of cross cables for extending between the lateral cables across the sole of a tire. Flat metal members secured to the lateral cables and ends of the cross cables form low profile articulated connections therebetween substantially adjacent the sole of the tire and radially outwardly from the tire sidewall flexing point for enabling a tighter grip on the tire by the traction device.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an assembly-type tire protector comprising a plurality of annular members disposed substantially parallel to the tire surface and a plurality of link members disposed substantially perpendicular to the tire surface, said annular members being connected together by said link members to form a net, each of said link members comprising a body which is provided at both of its ends with opposing hook-like arm means for interconnecting said annular members, said opposing hook-like arm means defining an opening, a pin disposed upright in said body, said pin having a head portion and a base portion, said head portion substantially occupying said opening, said body of the link member containing a blind hole for receiving said base portion of the pin, and means disposed in said hole for expanding said base portion of the pin within said hole for locking said pin in position in said hole.
