  • Patent number: 11283396
Abstract: A solar panel mounting system for forming a solar array includes longitudinal support rails mounted to a support structure such as a roof. A first solar panel disposed on the rails has a peripheral frame including a locking frame member with deformable clamping portion configured for slideably receiving a peripheral frame portion of an adjacent second solar panel. A pair of captive T-bolt sets passing through the clamping portion include T-bolts having locking heads and nuts frictionally engaged with the T-bolts to rotate the T-bolts. The heads are each inserted and rotationally locked into fastening channels of respective support rails. The second solar panel is inserted into the first panel clamping portion and the nuts are fully tightened producing a clamping action which locks the first and second panels together. Power/control cables may be routed inside covered cable compartments on rears of the panels for protection against rodent damage.

Abstract: An integral surgical clip includes two clamping arms and a non-spring-elastic connection portion that interconnects the two clamping arms in an integral manner. The two clamping arms on account of a plastic deformation of the clip are pivotable towards one another from an opened initial position up to a closed end position. The two clamping arms engage on the connection portion so as to be mutually spaced apart and are in each case extended beyond the connection portion by one lever arm molded thereon, and wherein, by squeezing the two lever arms, the two clamping arms, on account of a plastic deformation of the connection portion, are pivotable from the closed end position to an opened position. The two lever arms, in particular at the external ends thereof, are interconnected by an external connection arm.

The third clamp clamps the third rod to the second rod and permits movement of the third rod along and about the axis of the second rod and about the axis of the third rod and permits movement about a pivotal axis of the third clamp.

  • Patent number: 4716634
Abstract: The present disclosure is concerned with a two piece reinforced clothes peg which is mounted on the transverse rod of a clothes horse, and consists of a pair of jaw members, joined together along one common edge thereof, and a J-shaped clamping member which is detachably engaged with the paired jaw members on the surface of which there are defined properly shaped niches for receiving the legs of the clamping member so that the jaw members can become closely and tightly clamped together for holding a piece of hanged clothes firmly in place with the help of a plurality of projecting stripes defined on the inner surface thereof; and the clamped jaw members can be released by simply pushing upward the front enlarged flange of the J-shaped clamping member.

  • Patent number: 4658100
Abstract: A trolley wire suspension hanger includes a rod bent to form two loops at opposite ends with a substantially straight portion in between, one loop being to go over the messenger wire and the other for holding a clip. The clip includes a V-shaped member bent from sheet bronze with a C-shaped latch member passing through a T-shaped opening in each leg of the clip. The ends of the clip are bent inwardly toward each other to engage grooves in the trolley wire, whereupon the latch member is rotated to clamp the ends of the clip member in place.

  • Patent number: 4586221
Abstract: A clamping device for use in clamping dial indicators and like instruments used in surveying comprises a bifurcated clamping element having a pair of elongate arms defining a central slot. The arms define a pair of circular openings at the base of the slot, a large circular opening midway up the slot, and rebates defining a seat for a dovetail key at the end of the slot. An adjustment screw is provided between the arms for tightening of same. A variety of split sleeve inserts having different internal diameters may be used in the large circular opening for receipt of different size instruments.

  • Patent number: 4566157
Abstract: A U-shaped clip for clothes or the like has a web and two resilient legs between which the clothes or the like can be placed. On at least one leg there is a bevel to facilitate attachment and detachment of a preferably substantially E-shaped locking member which is slidable along the legs for clamping the legs to the clothes or the like. The outer sides of the legs and preferably also the inner sides of the locking member have a friction increasing surface structure.
