Abstract: A marking device may include a body. The body may be configured to transition between a closed configuration and an open configuration. The body may further include two arms. A distal end of each arm may be coupled to a distal end of the body. The marking device may further include a suture coupled to the body. Application of a force on a proximal end of each arm may be configured to cause the body to transition between the closed configuration and the open configuration.

Abstract: An improved clamp that will keep the bath towels in place on a towel rack. The clamp consists of a pair of clamping pieces, each with a retractable lever, a clamping jaw, and two lugs. The clamping pieces are connected by a pivot pin through holes in the paired lugs. A torsion spring is mounted around the pivot pin to provide clamping force on the jaws to hold the towel on the rack. A rubber cylinder is mounted around the pivot pin and torsion spring to provide additional force. The ability to extend the retractable levers gives the user additional leverage to open the clamping jaws, and therefore to use the clamp. Conversely, the ability to retract the levers protects the user, as the retracted levers present a much lower risk of injury to the user's eyes and face.

Abstract: A clip having a pair of operating levers slidably interconnected respectively to a pair of jaws joined together by a curved throat, an elongated slot formed on the inner side of each operating lever, a spring pocket formed in the outer surface of each jaw, a spring tab disposed in each pocket with an upstanding resilient stop tab joined to the spring tab and being disposed in the slot.

Abstract: An improved money clip for holding and securing a stack of money, credit cards, and business documents. The money clip includes a gripping member 12 having a U shape which includes gripping sections 14, 16, and 18, and a first set of pivot sections formed on the lower edge of gripping section 14, and a second set of pivot sections formed on the lower edge of gripping section 18. The first and second gripping legs 20 and 22 each having pivots members at their upper ends which are pivotally and removably connected to the first and second set of pivot sections formed on the gripping sections 14 and 18. A third gripping leg 24 is provided having pivot members at its upper ends which is interchangeable with the first or second gripping legs 20 or 22. In addition, logo support members are formed on the first, second, or third gripping legs for receiving logos or pictures thereon which have magnetic surfaces for receiving logos thereon.

Abstract: A money clip includes a pair of jaws joined together by means of a throat with a pair housings at least partially enveloping the jaws. A pair of operating levers are slidably mounted, respectively, in the housings with an elongated slot formed on the interior of each operating lever. A locking arm is attached to each jaw disposed and positioned to form an interlocking relationship between the jaw and respective operating lever.

Abstract: A binder clip, having a structure that removably binds several sheets of documents rotating and pressing hinged pressing levers that function to open or close the mouth of a clip body, thereby binding the documents prior to keeping them in a desired place, is disclosed. The binder clip has a clip body. A coupling guide, formed as a U-shaped frame body, is placed outside each of upper and lower surfaces of the clip body, with a locking projection provided at each end of the U-shaped coupling guide in order to be seated in the pocket. A pair of hinge holes is formed on opposite positions of the inner surface of the coupling guide. A plate-type pressing lever is formed as a plate-shaped body having a hinge hole so that the pressing lever is hinged to the hinge holes of the coupling guide using a hinge pin.

Abstract: A binder clip comprising a first side panel, second side panel and third side panel, integral with one another and arranged in the shape of a triangle, the first and third side panels having curled edge portions, and the first and third side panels spring-biased toward one another, a first and second lever made of wire and forming a loop, the first and second lever pivotally fixed to the first side panel and third side panel, respectively, the first and second levers arranged to pivot. The first and second levers are arranged to be retained or locked by linear protrusions emanating upwardly from the first and third side panels, respectively.

Abstract: A clamping device is used to push a test button on an exit sign or emergency light. The clamp can be attached without damaging various signs and lights. The clamp includes a channel (40), which guides an adjustable protruding object to push a test button located on the bottom of the exit sign or emergency light. The clamp can test exit signs and emergency lights that are wall mounted by modifying the base (10) with a flat back (130). The clamp can also be used in conjunction with an extension arm (90) to reach test buttons located at a distance from the bottom.

Abstract: A binding clip having actuator rods capable of rotation to any angle so as to not impair reading and writing, and which is produced by a simpler fabrication process. A triangularly folded pincer section has an actuator rod on each of the two sides and an insertion hole punched in each of the two sides. An even number of oppositely facing limiter notches are formed along the inner circumference of the insertion holes and a rounded guide element is disposed in between each of the limiter notches, providing for the rotation to any angular degree of the actuator rods along the rounded guide elements. The actuator rods consist of U-shaped rod structures with the two ends bent to an appropriate angular degree and having catch hooks extending from the bent sections. By pressing the two sides of the actuator rods inwardly, the catch hooks can engage opposing pairs of limiter notches such that the actuator rods remain fullly pivotable while positioned in the limiter notches.

Abstract: A spring clip has jaws connected by a throat that provides spring action to urge the jaws together, and levers on each jaw that can be extended to provide a mechanical advantage for opening the jaws, or can be retracted so the levers are juxtaposed on the jaws. The jaws have bosses thereon, and openings are defined in the bosses for receiving the levers. The openings have tongues along their sides, and the levers define grooves along their sides so the levers can slide smoothly into and out of the opening. Detents provide stops at retracted and extended positions of the levers, and a screw riding in a slot provides a positive stop to prevent inadvertent removal of the lever.

Abstract: A clip comprising: a metal sheet which forms an upper face, a lower face and a back portion; two pairs of hinges with one pair on each face; two pairs of shanks with each shank having a longer arm and a shorter arm, the ends of the arms are bent so that they are rotatably retained by corresponding pairs of hinges. The hinges are set diagonally on the upper and lower faces so that the shanks can be flipped to a position 90 degrees from its original (upright) position and vice-versa.

Abstract: Paint shield holders and shielding methods form a pair of planar sheets and an interconnecting resilient bight portion into a clip for receiving a planar edge portion of a paint shield between major surfaces which in area are a multiple of a cross-section of each planar sheet perpendicular to the major surfaces. The resilient clip is employed to bias the planar sheets at their major surfaces into frictional engagement with the contacted planar edge portion of the inserted shield. Instead of nuts, bolts or other fasteners, the mentioned frictional engagement is employed as the only agency at the major surfaces of the planar sheets for holding the planar edge portion of the shield in place upon mere manual insertion of the shield at the planar edge portion into the clip.
