Abstract: Exemplary embodiments will provide an apparatus for restraining a portion of a distal portion of a neck-worn clothing accessory, such as a neck tie, scarf, or other such clothing accessory, by connecting a rear, or underneath, portion of the clothing accessory to an underlying garment. Exemplary embodiments could restrain a portion of the distal portion of such a neck-worn clothing accessory without piercing or creasing any part of the exposed front surface of the neck-worn clothing accessory. An exemplary embodiment will include an underneath-portion engaging element, a connective element, and an exemplary garment-engaging element.

Abstract: A tie clip comprises a body (11) and an elastic tab (12) facing a face (16) of the body (11) and having a first end (13) constrained to said body (11) and a second free end (15). The tab (12) is provided with a first elastic thrust component (A) directed towards the body (11). A further elastic element (18) is constrained to the body (11) at its face (16) and is provided with a second elastic thrust component (B) directed towards the tab (12).
Abstract: A tie clip is constructed to include a shell, and a clip for securing the shell to a loose knot in a necktie, the shell having a flat body and two symmetrical wings turned backwards and then inwards toward each other from two opposite sides of the body, the wings being spaced from each other by a gap and defining with the body a receiving space having a narrow bottom mouth for receiving the knot of the necktie, the clip including a base frame fixedly fastened to the body of the shell inside the receiving space, the base frame having an upper clamping arm and two lower clamping arms, and a hook coupled to the upper clamping arm and the two lower clamping arms of the mounting frame and turned between a first position where the shell is allowed to be attached to the knot of the necktie, and a second position where the hook is hooked on the knot of the necktie to secure the shell to the necktie.
Abstract: A collar bar that fits within the open collar of a shirt including a first elongated member sized in length to span and hold the open collar of the shirt. A first pair of clips, with one secured to each of the opposite ends of the elongated member, attaches the elongated member to the shirt to maintain the shirt in its open condition. A second pair of clips, each of which is secured to the elongated member near each of the clips of the first pair, secures the opposed lateral edges of the ascot to the collar bar to prevent the ascot from shifting as the knot loosens. The first and second pairs of clips may take various forms, or they may coincide, thereby serving both functions simultaneously, and the elongated member may be adjustable in length.
