  • Publication number: 20090320181
Abstract: The current invention discloses a simple method and device to prevent trousers' hem sliding under the heels, no matter how long the legs are. The present invention discloses a unique way of using adhesive material, such as hook and loop fasteners (such as Velcroâ„¢) or magnetic material, to prevent legs of trousers or pants from getting caught under footwear. According to this invention adhesive material is applied on the back of the footwear and on the inner seams of the trousers. When the two parts of the adhesive material is attached together, the hem is locked to the shoe and it cannot slip under the heel. The invention according to this disclosure allows a method to attach the hems directly onto the shoe, without a need to have any separate parts. Moreover, once the parts of this invention are attached to the trousers and to the shoes there is no need to any adjustments or assemblies later on.
