  • Patent number: 6266853
Abstract: A not rotatable enclosing buckle of fabric article, including a female buckle body formed with a shaft hole passing through a bottom end thereof and a male buckle body including a main body and a nail post upward projecting from the main body. The nail post penetrates through the fabric article and inserting into the shaft hole of the female buckle body so as to latch the male and female buckle bodies on the fabric article. A stem of the nail post is formed with at least one rib. The rib and the longitudinal axis of the stem contain an angle other than 90 degrees. The rib defines a maximum outer circumference of the stem, whereby the rib meshes with the peripheral wall of the shaft hole to prevent the male and female buckle bodies from rotating relative to each other.

  • Patent number: 6209615
Abstract: In a spring-loaded curtain mount, the mount includes a pole interface at a proximal end, a compressive mechanism, and a head at a distal end. The pole interface is adapted to receive the end of a standard length adjustable pole or a painter's pole. The compression mechanism is disposed between the proximal end of the mount and the head. The mount includes a coupling device adapted to receive a portion of a curtain. During installation, the curtain mount is coupled to the end of an extension pole and the length of the pole is adjusted such that the combined length of the pole and mount is slightly longer than the distance between the floor and ceiling. At ground level, a portion of the curtain is attached to the head of the curtain mount. The curtain and mount are raised to the ceiling and the mount and pole are compressed between the floor and the ceiling. This compressive force operates to urge the head toward the ceiling, securing the mount in place.

Abstract: A cap crown button comprises a female retaining body, a male retaining body and a covering body. The female retaining body is provided with a retaining hole having at the upper end thereof a receiving space in which a connection portion, a receiving portion and a tapered portion are disposed. When the pin column of the male retaining body is inserted into the retaining hole of the female retaining body, the tapered head of the pin column of the male retaining body is rested against the tapered portion such that the bottom edge of the tapered head of the male retaining body is received in the receiving portion of the retaining hole. • Patent number: 4672719
Abstract: A plastics button assembly comprises an outer body component, an inner body component trapped substantially non-retrievably within a recess in the rear of the outer body component, and a cloth cover substantially covering the front of said outer body component, the edges of which are trapped securely between the engaging surfaces of said outer and inner body components. A shank extends from within the recess of the outer component and the inner component is engaged about and supported by the shank. The inner component is a specially shaped annular plastic washer having a flat inner face and a contoured outer face. An annulus of reduced thickness extends about a central aperture, and this annulus is surrounded by an annulus of maximum thickness which tapers towards the periphery of the washer. This allows the plastics button to be assembled in a conventional two piece die set as used for metal shell buttons.

Abstract: A tack button assembly includes a solid, deformable button body having an anchoring socket with first and second ends. The socket extends along the longitudinal axis of the body and is adapted to retainingly receive the shank of an associated tack through the socket first end. A thin cover wall which is integral with the button closes the socket first end. The construction is such that the tack penetrates a material to which the assembly is intended to be secured before breaking through the cover wall and entering the anchoring socket. Such relationships prevent the tack from creating an enlarged hole in the material and/or causing puckering of the material.
