  • Patent number: 9179685
Abstract: A deboning machine according to some embodiments of the disclosure includes a housing, a separation chamber and auger. The housing has a passageway and ports for expelling meat and bone. The separation chamber is mounted in the passageway, and the auger extends through said separation chamber and the housing. An engagement structure provided on the housing and separation chamber engage with a camming action to provide a space between the separation chamber and the auger. During engagement, the auger is held stationary and the separation chamber is rotated relative to the auger.

  • Patent number: 5390799
Abstract: The machine comprises a hollow rotary body (1) of large dimensions which may be loaded with the containers to be recycled, nozzles for supplying and spraying washing fluid at a predetermined temperature to the rotary body (1) for the mutual separation and washing of the containers and the initial separation of labels and bases, and mechanical impact devices (2), (21, 23) housed in the rotary body (1) and actuated by the rotation of this body so as to exert on the containers a mechanical action suitable for the mutual separation of the containers themselves, the separation of the stoppers and the completion of the washing and label and base separation operation. The rotary body (1) may have an inlet opening (5) and an outlet opening (7) for the containers to be recycled or a single inlet and outlet opening (30) so as to form a machine operating continuously or discontinuously respectively.

  • Patent number: 5197679
Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus to strip material from material cores. The apparatus of the invention comprises a frame; a belt attached to the frame; means for rotationally driving the belt; and means for biasing material to be stripped against the belt. According to the invention, the belt is an endless conveying belt, driven by a motor, gear box controlled with an A/C variable frequency drive. The material being stripped is biased against the belt by a plurality of positioning members rotatably attached to the frame. The positioning members are spaced at intervals along the length of the conveying belt such that the distance between ecah positioning member is greater than the diameter of the expiring material core being stripped. Each positioning member and the rotating belt meet to create a nip. An expiring core is placed on the rotating conveying belt and the leasing edge of the material is self-threaded into the nip.

  • Patent number: 4372751
Abstract: Apparatus for producing a coal-oil mixture at varying output rates corresponding to a variable demand includes crushing means for pulverizing coal at a variable rate and mixing means, interconnected with the crushing means and a supply of oil, for producing the coal-oil mixture (COM), the coal being suspended in the oil. Control means is provided for receiving input signals corresponding to desired production rates of the COM and in an operative relationship with the crushing and mixing means for varying the rate of pulverized coal production and the mixing rate to produce the COM at rates corresponding to the input signals. The apparatus is configured for disposal on mobile platforms and includes a separable interconnecting conduit means between the crushing means, mixing means and control means for enabling transportation of the apparatus from one site to another on the mobile platform.

  • Patent number: 4113189
Abstract: A pressurized roller-colloid mill in which the conventional rotor and stator of a colloid mill are preceded by one or more adjustable-thrust roller bearing assemblies disposed in a series relationship. A product to be refined in the form of a slurry is pumped into the feeding port of the mill to pass between the rollers and the inner and outer raceways of one or more roller bearing assemblies, then to the gap between conventional rotor and stator elements of a colloid mill. The multiple rollers and their cooperating raceways constitute working surface areas far in excess of conventional colloid mill rotors and stators. Gang mounting of the rotor of the mill and the inner raceways of the roller bearing assemblies upon a common axially movable shaft permits gap adjustment for the enhancement of milling action. A relief valve at the outlet of the mill cooperates with the adjustable gap to provide an output of product of any desired particle size down to the low micron range.
