Having Material Accumulation Sensor Patents (Class 242/364.7)
  • Patent number: 9957646
Abstract: A drum inter-storage of yarn for a textile machine and associated method of control includes a driven rotary drum with a compensatory rotary arm. The rotary drum is coupled with a first drive formed by an electric motor, and a compensatory rotary arm is coupled with a second drive formed by an electric motor, whereby both motors are connected to a control device. The invention also relates to a method of controlling the drum inter-storage of yarn at an operating unit of a textile machine.

  • Patent number: 9774242
Abstract: A phase sequence switching device for a three-phase power supply is disposed in a power feed path from a three-phase power supply to a load and includes a power-supply side relay including two Form C contact relays connected to two phases of the power supply respectively, a load side relay including two Form C contact relays connected between the power-supply side relay and the load, and a switching circuit connected between the power-supply side relay and the load side relay and wired to be capable of switching by a relay action from a standby state where no power is supplied to the load to either a state where the power supply is connected to a positive phase so that power is supplied to the load side or a state where the power supply is connected to a reverse phase so that power is supplied to the load side.

  • Publication number: 20140299703
Abstract: A method for supplying a thread to a textile machine without creating torsions thereof includes picking up the thread from a reel, winding it on a rotary drum driven by an electric motor thereof and supplying such thread to the textile machine, preferably at constant tension and/or quantity. The method provides for measuring the amount of thread leaving the rotary drum and the amount of thread wound thereon and intervening on the rotation of such drum so the amount of thread leaving the drum is equivalent to the amount loaded thereon to avoid the creation of torsion on the thread. A device for implementing such method is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8766223
Abstract: A packaging machine and a device for monitoring a roll with film material wound thereon is disclosed. By means of a sensor arrangement, an end of the film material on the roll may be detected. The sensor arrangement includes at least one optoelectric sensor arranged stationary relative to a front side of the roll. The optoelectric sensor is designed such that a portion of an outer circumference of the rotating roll may be detected.

  • Publication number: 20080308664
Abstract: At least one yarn is unspooled from at least one bobbin using a spindle cap. The unspooling speed and, in a coordinated manner, other parameters associated with the transformation process, are adjusted according to a quantity representative of the amount of yarn remaining wound on the at least one bobbin, so that the unspooling speed remains below limits imposed by unspooling conditions.

  • Publication number: 20080164360
Abstract: A thread accumulation device that essentially consists of a discharge chute for receiving and guiding a strand that is formed by a thread take-up device (10) and a carriage (14) for taking up a thread spiral, guided in parallel to the longitudinal axis of the discharge chute that is equipped with a tension rail device and resting on the end of the strand of the side that is opposite to the thread take-up device (10). The device is characterized in that the carriage (14) for taking up a thread spiral that is guided on the discharge chute is equipped with a unit (16) for monitoring its movement and support on the end of the strand of the side that is opposite to the thread take-up device (10). The invention can be applied more particularly in the field of the textile industry, in particular of the treatment of thread.

  • Patent number: 6820833
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling a yarn processing system comprising a textile machine, a yarn feed device and a supply spool. According to the inventive method, the yarn feed device pulls the yarn from the supply spool with varying speed and forms and maintains a yarn intermediate store. In addition, a rotatable supply spool (B) is turned at least by the yarn tension elicited by the winding drive (4) of the yarn feed device (F), and the yarn (Y) is tangentially removed from the supply spool (B).

  • Patent number: 6409114
Abstract: A yarn feeding device including a storage drum for a yarn supply and a sensor device located outside the storage drum in a sensor housing. The sensor device includes several movably mounted sensor arms, each of which extends from an axis with a sensor arm carrying a sensor base to the yarn supply on the storage drum where it can be moved out of a home position. The yarn feeding device further includes a spring system which impinges on the sensor arm, as well as a signal-generating device for detecting the position of the sensor arm. The sensor arms and their sensor arm parts are mounted on a common axis.
