On A Tray With Vertical Spool Support Patents (Class 242/474.1)
  • Publication number: 20080035782
Abstract: Connection member integrally includes: a supporting section having a shape adapted to support a predetermined portion of a thread spool of a predetermined shape: a cylindrical portion for fixing a spool pin to the connection member by allowing one end portion of the pin to be inserted therein or thereon; and a fitting portion fittingly engageable with a mounting portion of a thread stand plate. Thus, the connection member and the spool pin are attached together to the thread stand plate with the connection member attached to the mounting portion of the thread stand plate via the fitting portion and the spool pin fitted at the one end portion to the cylindrical portion. The supporting section has a shape adapted to support predetermined portions of thread spools of at least two types having different configurations.

  • Patent number: 6511013
Abstract: A device for starting a work station (2) of a cheese-producing textile machine, in particular after a batch change, wherein the work station (2) has a creel (18) for rotatably holding a bobbin tube (34), a splicing device (13) for connecting yarn ends, and manipulating means (12, 24) for inserting the yarn ends into the splicing device (13). A yarn (28) connected with a feed bobbin (9) is placed into the splicing device (13) by means of a gripper tube (24). The winding station has a device (30) for cutting the yarn (28), and a device (26) for receiving the cut yarn (28). A special suction tube (1) makes possible the transfer of the cut yarn (28) to a second clamping and cutting device (23) arranged in the area of the creel (18).

  • Patent number: 6340131
Abstract: A method for performing a batch change in an automatic cheese winder, which has many identical winding stations disposed in sections and a transportation system for supplying yarn-wound spinning cops to and removing empty unwound spinning cops from the winding stations. Transport trays for transporting spinning cops or empty tubes revolve within the transportation system, which has many different transport paths, among others transverse transport paths leading to the winding stations. The clearing away of an old batch of yarn is done section by section. Thus, from the transverse transport paths of one winding station section, spinning cop-carrying transport trays are discharged until such time as that section has been cleared out. The temporary storage of empty transport trays in the transverse transport paths of a cleared winding station section is already begun while adjacent winding station sections are still being cleared.

  • Patent number: 6290165
Abstract: A method for operating an automatic cheese winder, having multiple winding stations (A, B, etc.) and a transportation system (21) for supplying the winding stations with spinning cops (39) and discharging them of empty tubes (40). The spinning cops are furnished by a preceding textile machine (30) having a spinning cop and empty tube transport device (31) communicating with the transportation system (21). The delivery of spinning cops to the winder (25) is continuously monitored by a sensor. A control device (46) of a tube monitor (24) assures that empty tube-equipped transport trays are kept on hand in the transportation system, and the tube monitor via the central control unit (27) initiates a controlled slow-down of the winder (25) into an energy-saving mode. Upon resumption of delivery of the spinning cops, the winder is accelerated from the energy-saving mode to an operating mode.

  • Patent number: 6270033
Abstract: A method for operating the winding heads of a bobbin winding machine each of which respectively has a yarn tension sensor connected to a work station computer for detecting the actual tension in a yarn traveling from a delivery bobbin to a take-up bobbin, a yarn tensioner for regulating the yarn tension, a splicing device for automatic connection of yarn ends following a yarn break and/or a yarn cleaning cut, and a delivery bobbin changing device. After a splicing of the broken or cut yarn ends, the actual yarn tension is detected by the yarn tension sensor, and the detected value is compared in the work station computer with a threshold value which, if exceeded, results in actuation of the delivery bobbin changing device to provide a fresh delivery bobbin.

  • Patent number: 6192957
Abstract: A printing unit in a gravure printing portion prints a plurality of end marks on a web having a base film and a hot melt ink layer. The end marks printed on the web are dried by a drying apparatus. A sheet obtained from the web is wound around a roll shaft in a roll form by a sheet winding apparatus to form a sheet roll. The roll shaft is supplied from a roll shaft supplying apparatus to the sheet winding apparatus, and the sheet roll formed by the sheet winding apparatus is discharged from a discharging apparatus. The discharge apparatus includes a plurality of cradles in the vertical direction, a carry-out conveyor beside the cradles, a guide rail beside the cradles on the opposite side to the conveyor and arranged vertically, and receiving arms horizontally mounted on the rail and corresponding to the cradles. The arms move up and down on the rail and extend or contract horizontally from the cradles.
