The bearing journal can be inserted into a guide of a dispenser. The guide is continuous from the insertion position to the dispensing position.

Abstract: A device for handling reels includes a telescoping assembly with a first fork sleeve and a second fork sleeve attached to the telescoping assembly so that a position of the first fork sleeve may be adjusted with respect to a position of the second fork sleeve. A first reel lifter fitting and a second reel lifter fitting are attached to the telescoping assembly so that a position of the first reel lifter fitting may be adjusted with respect to a position of the second reel lifter fitting. A first reel lifter arm having a first hook portion and a second reel lifter arm having a second hook portion are slidingly received within the first and second reel lifter fittings.

Abstract: A stock supply station for use in a insulated glass unit component production line includes a plurality of rotatable sheet stock coils, an indexing mechanism, and an uncoiling mechanism. The indexing mechanism is coupled to the sheet stock coils for indexing a selected one of the sheet stock coils to an uncoiling position. The uncoiling mechanism selectively uncoils sheet stock from a sheet stock coil indexed to the uncoiling position to thereby provide sheet stock to a downstream processing station.

The mandrel set includes a first mandrel constructed to hold a first roll of tissue, a second mandrel constructed to hold a second roll of tissue, and an arm extending from the first mandrel to the second mandrel. Abstract: Disclosed is a device and method for storing and dispensing multiple rolls of toilet paper. The present invention comprises a weighted base with an elongated vertical body, onto which several rolls of toilet paper can be placed. The top portion of the elongated body pivots, and can lock in a vertical position, allowing for storage of additional rolls of toilet paper. The top portion can also lock into a horizontal position for use of a toilet paper roll mounted thereon. Once a roll of toilet paper is depleted, a user slides a replacement roll up the vertical body, and over the pivot, where it rests on the top portion.

In addition, the present invention is a system, apparatus and method for tension control in a fiber feeding system that provides a fast and reliable method for feeding high tack elastomeric thread or fiber from a package to a manufacturing process. Furthermore, the present invention provides a method and apparatus for changing packages on a creel without interrupting the manufacturing process. In particular, the compact creel of the present invention provides for continuous operation of unwinding and fiber delivery by allowing a standby package to be loaded on the same mandrel as an active package that is presently being unwound.

The invention can be configured in various dispensing arrangements for dispensing one or more paper products comprising paper towel rolls, toilet tissue rolls, and/or a box of paper facial pop-up tissue sheets. To this extent, one or more dispensing arrangements may incorporate an open roll holder, a hanging roll holder, and/or a web tear plate, each of which is unique to this invention. Further, various configurations allow for the storage of one or more of these products. Various embodiments of the invention also provide user conveniences such as a mini-table, wheel caster leg assemblies, and lifting knobs.

Abstract: A paper roll dispenser comprising a tube having an open upper end through which rolls may be introduced and an open lower end through which dispensed rolls may be retrieved. The tube is adapted to hold a plurality of rolls comprising at least a lowermost roll and a roll upwardly adjacent the lowermost roll. A lever member is supported on the tube to pivot on the tube, and is pivotable between a retaining position (in which a lower end of the level engages the lowermost roll and an upper end of the lever is spaced from the upwardly adjacent roll) and a dispensing position (in which the lower end of the lever is spaced from the lowermost roll and the upper end of the lever engages the upwardly adjacent roll). Abstract: A method for unwinding tacky elastomeric yarn from one or multiple coiled yarn packages includes the steps of (a) removing tubular cores from each yarn package to expose the beginning end of the yarn strand at the inner diameter of the yarn package; (b) forming a terminal end of the yarn strand at a position along the length of the strand between the inner diameter and outer diameter of the yarn package; (c) when unwinding multiple coiled yarn packages, attaching the terminal end of the first yarn package to a beginning end of a next yarn package; and (d) unwinding by pulling the beginning end of the first yarn package in a generally axial direction to remove yarn from the inside of the package from the inner diameter toward the outer diameter. This method provides inside-out unwinding of a single package, or continuous unwinding of multiple packages of elastomeric yarn at a reduced overall yarn tension, and minimizes unwinding tension spikes.

Abstract: The invention is a toilet paper dispenser designed to hold two rolls of toilet paper. The dispenser has a housing containing a primary roll support and a secondary roll support. The secondary roll support is disposed parallel to and vertically above the primary roll support. The secondary roll support is connected to a release mechanism operative to lower the secondary roll support into a position to dispense toilet paper from its roll of toilet paper when the primary roll of toilet paper is exhausted. A roll guard prevents access to the secondary roll until the release mechanism has been activated. The release mechanism is automatically activated and released by a user-controlled trigger mechanism, preferably a lever, so that a user exhausting the primary roll of toilet paper may access the secondary roll without interfering with the dispenser.

Abstract: The present invention consists of a rolled wire dispensing unit that incorporates a wheeled cart with a deck, a post generally perpendicular to the deck over which a roll of wire may be placed, and a pivoting front yoke. The yoke is attached to the deck slightly rearward of the front edge of the deck so as to allow the front end of the unit to tilt upward and allow the wire roll to be pulled from the post prior to the wire breaking if the wire becomes overly taut. While the unit will allow the wire roll to pull off if the wire becomes overly tight, the unit uses the wire roll's own weight to maintain a degree of tautness as the wire is dispensed. These improvements benefit the user by providing a convenient wire dispensing tool, that eliminates the inconvenience and danger caused by wire snags.
