  • Patent number: 8500058
Abstract: A paper roll fixing device of a printer includes a first supporting base, a second supporting base, a first fixing member and a second fixing member. The first fixing member comprises a rotatable first fixing slab. The second fixing member comprises a rotatable second fixing slab. When the first fixing slab and the first fixing slab are pushed by a paper roll, the first fixing slab and the first fixing slab are rotated to the position without stopping the paper roll from entering or leaving the space between the first supporting base and the second supporting base. As a consequently, the paper roll can be smoothly introduced into or removed from the paper roll fixing device. By the paper roll fixing device, the paper roll can be introduced into or removed from the paper roll fixing device with a single hand or in a single step.

  • Patent number: 7770625
Abstract: A support assembly is provided for a roller tube having a sheet material wound therearound. The support assembly has opposed first and second mounts adapted to support the roller tube, which is rotatably coupled to the mounts. At least one support cradle is disposed between the first and second mounts. The support cradle is configured to support the roller tube along a length thereof A biasing member is arranged to reduce a force of the roller tube in a direction toward the support cradle, thereby preventing the sheet material from binding against the support cradle as it winds and/or unwinds.

  • Patent number: 6481661
Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement for winding a cable or the like on and off a reel with a center hole, which arrangement comprises two movable, substantially vertical support arms (1), which are supported by a frame structure and the free arm ends of which are provided with spindles (2) arranged to be inserted to the center holes of the reel (3) between the support arms, when the support arms (1) are being moved towards one another, whereby the reel can be raised from the foundation by means of vertical adjustment of the support arms (1) to enable the winding. To achieve a simple structure, the spindles (2) are arranged floatably to the ends of the support arms (1) allowing the spindles (2) to move freely in different directions. As a result of the support arms moving towards one another and resting against the center hole of the reel (3), the spindles (2) are arranged to move axially with respect to the support arms (1) into a position in which the spindles (2) are locked to the support arms (1).

  • Publication number: 20020050541
Abstract: A wire-winding machine for forming coils (20) on individual magnetic pole teeth (11a) of a core member (13) which is produced by joining a plurality of core segments (11), each of the core segments (11) having a yoke portion (11c) and a magnetic pole tooth (11a) projectingly formed on an inside surface (11d) of the yoke portion (11c), comprises a core member positioner including a rotating roller (14), large-diameter guide rollers (21) and small-diameter guide rollers (22) which together serve to bend the core member (13) and hold it in a position where the core segments (11.3, 11.5) adjacent to the core segment (11.4) on which the coil (20) is currently wound do not project in the direction of its magnetic pole tooth (11a) beyond a boundary surface (S) of the yoke portion (11c) of the core segment (11.4) on which the coil (20) is currently wound.

  • Patent number: 6357686
Abstract: A roll of a recording paper is rotatably contained in a paper magazine. The magazine is provided with a mouth through which the recording paper is drawn out and fed to a printer. A leading edge of the recording paper, is adapted to come into contact with an outer periphery of the roll by a contacting device. The remainder of the roll is indicated by an indicating device. The mouth of the magazine is opened and closed with a shutter unit. The inside of the magazine tightly closed with the shutter unit is kept at constant humidity by a humidity conditioning paper. On the other hand, the roll is caught between a pair of flanges. One of the flanges is biased by plate springs toward the other of the flanges so that the roll is held in the magazine without looseness.
