    Abstract: An apparatus for an aircraft cabin may include a body and a personal electronic device (PED) holder. The body may include a sloped surface between a top surface and a recess surface with a plurality of recess protrusions configured to support a PED. The body may be couplable to a surface within the aircraft cabin via one or more couplers. The PED holder may include a paddle and at least one hinge coupler. The paddle may be located opposite the sloped surface within the recess. The paddle may be dimensioned to fit within the recess when the PED holder is in a closed position. The paddle may be configured to support the PED when the PED holder is in an open position. The PED holder may be configured to rotate about an axis through the at least one hinge coupler between at least the open position and the closed position.

    Abstract: A system iron comprises an iron and a base that has a receiving area for receiving the iron. The base comprises a fastening device for fastening the iron to the base. The fastening device includes a first engagement member and a second engagement member arranged at mutually opposite sides of the receiving area. At least one of the engagement members is displaceable in a direction away from the other engagement member and is biased towards the other engagement member. With such a fastening device, a user can safely and conveniently lock the iron to the base using just one of his hands for gripping the main grip portion of the iron.

    Abstract: A safety stand for an electric iron including a base attached to an ironing board by clamps. A support arm is pivotally attached to the base and is movable between and securable in one of a vertical working position and a lowered storage position. A C-shape grip with resilient fingers frictionally engages and secures the handle of an electric iron. The grip is vertically adjustable on the support arm by engagement of a threaded fastener extending from the grip through a slot in the support arm. Notches in the support arm are positioned to receive the electrical cord from the iron when the support arm is in the working position.
