Abstract: The present invention relates to a reconfigurable implement positioning and guidance system. The system includes an implement (e.g., a ball), an implement support, and a swung object (e.g., a bat). The implement support is reconfigurable between two modes. In a first mode the implement can be struck and propelled from the implement support and in a second mode the implement is fastened to the implement support so that it cannot separate upon impact with the swung object. The system also includes a guide positioned in the vicinity (e.g., below) of the implement so that an object swung below the implement will contact the guide which will direct the swung object toward and into contact with the implement. The guide can be employed in the first mode or the system can be used in either mode with the guide removed.

The sliding block is slidably provided at the sliding rail support to move along thereof. The gear is connected to the sliding block. The gear and the guiding structure are clenched to position the sliding block at the sliding rail support. The rotating member has a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion. The first connecting portion is fixedly connected to the supporting plate, and the second connecting portion is pivotally connected to the sliding block, thereby adjusting the relative angle between the supporting plate and the sliding block.

Abstract: A modular multi-screen LCD display system. In one embodiment the display system comprises four independent LCD screens supported on first and second independent T-shaped support arms. The first T-shaped support arm is supported by a base assembly, and the second T-shaped support arm is supported above the first T-shaped support arm by a vertical spacing arm. An adapter is included which allows the display system to be reconfigured for use with a single LCD screen or with three LCD screens. In an alternative embodiment a central T-shaped support arm is used to support two outer T-shaped support arms at opposite ends thereof. The outer T-shaped support arms are arranged vertically such that the three support arms form an “H” shape. A pair of LCD screens are mounted on each outer T-shaped support arm. This configuration permits four LCD screens to be mounted much closer to a work surface.

Abstract: An automatic sunlight redirector comprises of a device which redirects sunlight to a place of user's choice. This is a universal model and does not need data and microprocessor to track the sun at different latitudes, nor does it need any computer to calculate the angle of reflectance. This device works on principle of arranging incident sun-ray, target-line and the mirror-axis as sides of an isosceles triangle and is realized by the devices of sun-tracking director-bar, a slide fitted on this director-bar, and a groove on the mirror-axis pipe/bar (5) for free movement of the director-bar (10) which not only tracks the sun but continuously adjusts the position of the mirror such that the light is reflected on the fixed target. The declination-setter (8) and time-setter (15) track the daily changes in the declination of the sun and the length of the day respectively.

  • Patent number: 7410143
Abstract: An adjusting structure is located between a bracing frame and a monitor for height adjustment by using slide-type mechanisms. The adjusting structure comprises a fixing base, a slide base, and a slide means, wherein several trenches are formed on the fixing base for holding the bracing frame. Two insertion trenches are oppositely formed on both sides of the fixing base for holding the slide base. The slide means is coupled with the monitor. When the user holds the both sides of the monitor, he can exactly hook and hold a braking shaft by hands so as to release ratches from a stop device such that the slide means, which is coupled with the monitor, can be inserted into the slide base so as to engage the ratches with the racks. As a result, the adjusting structure can be rapidly, accurately, and finely shifted to a proper height.
