A hook on the bracket grabs the rung of the OEM ladder. The step ladder may be further secured to the OEM ladder by inserting a lock through the bracket and through or adjacent to the rung of the OEM ladder, or by inserting a lock through another rung of the OEM ladder and a retaining tab of the step ladder.     Abstract: An attachment apparatus is disclosed suitable for use with ladders comprising a wedging section enabling it to be wedged into a central bore of a rung of a ladder for attachment thereto. The attachment apparatus may have a wedging section formed from a resilient material. It may further include elongate engaging section whose cross-sectional dimension is less than that of a largest dimension of a central bore of a rung of a ladder for attachment thereto. It allows a user of the such apparatus to safely suspend items such as paint pots or tools from a ladder for easy reach.
