Abstract: The present invention is a mounting bracket that may be secured on top of a hollow piling, pipe, or pole and then used to mount a lighting fixture or other fixture thereto. It includes inner and outer walls extending downward from a flat base, where the walls of the piling, pipe, or pole may be disposed in the space between the inner and outer walls.

Abstract: A universal mounting system for insulated instruments includes a mounting plate which engages openings in mating parts of a self-supporting insulated enclosure. The plate supports the instrument and the enclosure independently and allows all connections to the interior of the enclosure to be made through the plate. The plate is bent to an L-shape, with one leg supported by a support structure and the other leg supporting the instrument and enclosure. A termination of a traced tubing system is housed in an enclosure mounted to an opposite side of the mounting plate. The mounting plate includes a collar, cutouts in mating sections of the enclosure fitting over the collar to mount the enclosure to the mounting plate. Illustratively, the mounting plate includes a mount plate portion connected to a supporting structure, and an instrument plate mounted to the instrument.

The louvered patio cover may comprise a frame with support beams, louvered panels, support beam couplers, an actuator, a gutter, and/or other components. The support beams may have angled ends. The louvered panels may be rotatably coupled to the support beams. A support beam coupler may comprise first and second receivers. The first receiver may be configured to receive an angled end of a first support beam, and the second receiver may be configured to receive an angled end of a second support beam. The angled ends of the first and second support beams may face, meet, and/or abut each other when received by the first and second receivers. The actuator may be configured to rotate the louvered panels. A gutter may comprise a lighting channel configured to hold a light source for lighting an area under the louvered patio cover.

Abstract: This invention provides a low stress training device and method for growing a plant from the Cannabaceae family. The device comprises a mast and a cultivator moveably attached to the mast such that the cultivator may be fixed into a variety of positions along the mast. The method for using the device in a low stress training process leads to increased size, quality, and quantity of colas on plants from the Cannabaceae family through stimulating cytokinin and auxin development.

Abstract: Various implementations include a device for holding and supporting a medical instrument in a position. For example, the medical instrument may include a percutaneous procedure apparatus, such as a needle (e.g., biopsy needle, anesthesia needle) or needle holder. In some implementations, the device holds and supports the percutaneous procedure apparatus and liberates the procedure operator's hands from direct beam exposure, which lowers the risk of complications and radiation exposure to patients and procedure operators. The device also increases the effectiveness of the procedure by holding and supporting the apparatus in the intended position.

Abstract: An exhaust hanger assembly for a vehicle includes a bracket, a clip, and a rod. The bracket includes a peripheral wall having a non-circular cross section. The bracket includes a first end configured to be fixed to an exhaust pipe of the vehicle and a second end including first and second receivers formed in peripheral wall. Each of the compound vibration-absorption units includes an exterior enclosure barrel and an interior elastic component. The interior elastic component is received and housed in an interior space of the exterior enclosure barrel along a force applying direction. When a force is applied to the saddle, a part of the force is absorbed by the interior elastic component, while a remaining part of the force is simultaneously absorbed by the exterior enclosure barrel.

The auger allows for vertical installation of the support pole in soil in response to manual rotation of the support pole. The art post has an inner surface defining a bore. The bore is capable of receiving at least a portion of the elongate support pole. The art post also has an outer surface including decorative indicia thereon. The mounting mechanism is located on the support pole and has protruding portions extending away from the support pole. The protruding portions are configured to contact the inner surface of the art post and affix the art post relative to the support pole. Methods of assembling the same are also disclosed.

Abstract: A locking security lid incorporates a cylindrical housing having extendable pistons and contact pads for contacting the interior surface of an access pipe, the contact pads may be retracted to a withdrawn position wherein the contact pads are within the outside diameter of the cylindrical housing. The cylindrical housing is provided with a locking bolt to will be secured to the cylindrical housing through a stanchion and having a keyed bolt head to prevent removal of the locking bolt without a socket wrench having a corresponding slot pattern. The contact pads are provided with a locking interference surface to prevent relative movement between an access pipe and the contact pad when the contact pads are extended.

Abstract: A fence post platform attachment device fits on top of a T-post has a top platform portion that allows objects such as birdhouses, signs, sprinklers, lockboxes, etc. to be secured to the T-post. A cross-shaped body portion is formed by bending a sheet of steel into a hollow cross shape and welding it to the top platform portion. A series of holes are disposed along the corners of the top platform portion to allow a user to attach the desired object. Fasteners such as bolts securely hold the selected objet to the top platform portion thereby securing it to the T-post fence post.

Abstract: The present invention is a lift accessory for aerial lifts and related machines. The lift accessory includes sets of retractable supports for materials around the perimeter of an aerial lift platform. In a preferred embodiment, two accessories would be installed on opposite ends of the lift platform. Typically, the accessory is based upon a section of steel tubing. The inside end may be pivotally attached via a bolt or other appropriate attachment means to a railing on a work platform of the lift.

The gusset can have a first leg and a second leg extending at an angle relative to the mounting surface. Saddle brackets can be coupled to a torque tube at predetermined locations. PV modules can be coupled to the saddle brackets. The mounting feature can be coupled to the first gusset and configured to stand the one or more PV modules off the tube.

Abstract: An automatic gap adjustor is provided. The automatic gap adjustor includes an upper cammed disk, a lower cammed disk spaced apart from the upper cammed disk, and a resilient spring element therebetween. The upper cammed disk includes a first plurality of cams on an upper axial surface and a second plurality of cams on a lower axial surface. The lower cammed disk includes a third plurality of cams on an upper axial surface and a fourth plurality of cams on an undercut portion spaced apart from the upper axial surface. Opposing cams can be radially offset from each other, such that reciprocating axial movement of the upper disk relative to the lower disk can achieve a stepped rotation of the upper disk. Rotation of the upper disk can drive the automatic gap adjustor along a threaded support to eliminate a gap along a portion thereof.

Abstract: A comminutor for reducing the particle size of solid waste is provided. The comminutor includes at least two shafts, each fitted with a cutting element. A top portion of each of the shafts is rotatably mounted to a top housing and a bottom portion of each of the shafts is rotatably mounted to a bottom housing. The comminutor also includes a first shaft support disposed between the top portion and the bottom portion for rotatably supporting each of the shafts and a vertical support member attached to the top housing and the bottom housing, the first shaft support being coupled to the vertical support member.

Abstract: A system mounts a mailbox to an upstanding post defining an upper portion of the post. The system includes a plate adapted to mount the mailbox and defining a lower surface and an upper surface of the plate, the upper surface being adapted to support a lower surface of the mailbox. A sleeve extends downwardly from the lower surface of the plate, is adapted to matingly receive the upper portion of the post, and defines at least one interior wall of the sleeve. The interior wall defines at least one rib of the interior wall adapted to contact an exterior surface of the upper portion to fittingly secure the post within the sleeve and, thus, mount the mailbox to the post. The sleeve is also adapted to be matingly received by the upper portion of the post. Multiple mailboxes can be supported by a single system.

The second socket part has an internal wall which is provided with at least one coupling element adapted to engage with a threaded pole. The attachment element is coupled to the socket body generally at the other end of the first socket part, the attachment element being adapted for connection to a wall of a speaker cabinet.

The cap defines a cavity for receiving an upper portion of the flagpole, and the cavity extends inwardly from an opening in a lower end of the cap. The cap has an outer surface and an annular groove formed in the outer surface. The bracket assembly further includes a support mounted on the cap, and the support is rotatable with respect to the cap. The support includes a mounting lip for resisting sliding of the support off of the cap, and the mounting lip extends inwardly toward the cap and is configured to be at least partially positioned in the annular groove of the cap.

Abstract: An apparatus for coupling and decoupling clips is described. Specifically, the apparatus allows for installation of clips to building structures of varying elevations. The apparatus may comprise a telescoping pole, a lower pivot joint, an upper pivot joint, and at least one reversible clip. The reversible clip may be removed from the upper pivot joint by applying a substantially vertical force in a downward direction to the telescoping pole. Lights may be attached to the reversible clip. The lower pivot joint and upper pivot joint allow for the reversible clip to be coupled to building structures at various angles.

The supporter includes a base, and a supporting component pivotably disposed on the base along a first axial direction. An open hole is formed on a bottom of the base, and the base includes a fixing portion. The foundation is pivotably disposed on the base. A conjunction portion is disposed on a surface of the foundation, and the fixing portion is connected to the conjunction portion for preventing the base from rotating relative to the foundation. The clamper is fixed on the foundation for piercing through the open hole and partly positioning between the base and the supporting component. The clamper includes a body for clamping a tube, and two connecting parts disposed on a lateral surface of the body. A direction of each connecting part is parallel to a second axial direction perpendicular to the first axial direction.

The cigarette receptacle may be temporarily or permanently attached to the sidewall of the sleeve. The cigarette receptacle preferably includes a lower portion and an upper, removable cap. The cigarette receptacle may be plastic with an inner, non-flammable liner, or may be composed of metal. The cigarette receptacle preferably includes a small hole into which cigarettes are placed.

Abstract: Disclosed is a mailbox slider device that provides mailboxes of various widths to be slideably mounted along the horizontal portion of an existing mailbox support post. The device comprises a first base member and a second slideable member being attached using complimentary tongue and groove sliders, wherein the members include a recessed channel having a first and second channel stop that prevents separation of the two members at the base member distal end, while allowing separation and engagement of the members along the inward proximal end of the base member. A mailbox is secured to a support block, which then attaches to the upper surface of the second sliding member. The sliding member engages the base member from its proximal end, whereafter the base member is secured to the horizontal portion of a mailbox post to provide a readily extendable and retractable assembly for improved access for postal service workers.

In one embodiment, the device is sized to fit into an aerial platform, such as that used on utility bucket trucks. The device may be lifted to the point of connection on the utility pole.

Abstract: A musical instrument stand includes a top seat including a seat body and a holding unit. The holding unit includes two pivot members, a torsion spring, and two holding rods. Thus, when the musical instrument is pulled upward relative to the holding unit to detach from the two holding rods of the holding unit, the two pivot members of the holding unit are pushed upward by the restoring force of the torsion spring so that the two pivot members of the holding unit are moved upward to the expanding position, and the two holding rods of the holding unit are moved to space from each other such that the neck of the musical instrument can be removed from the two holding rods of the holding unit easily and conveniently.

Abstract: An accessory mount for self-propelled mowers allows accessories to be retrofitted to self-propelled mowers. Self-propelled mowers commonly have wheel assemblies mounted by vertically oriented stems held in vertical hollow tube wheel mounts. The end of the stems of the wheel assemblies extend out the top of the hollow tube wheel mounts, presenting hubs. Apertures in the hubs accept cotter pins for retaining the wheels. Washers at the top and bottom of the wheel assembly stems vertically position the wheels. An accessory mount has apertures sized and spaced to match the hubs and the cotter pins and washers used to retain the wheel assemblies also retain the accessory mount. The distance between apertures in the accessory mount can be adjusted to retrofit to different self-propelled mowers. The accessory mount presents interfaces such as bearing surfaces for interfacing with accessories.
