Abstract: A coupler has a pole coupling portion and a lamp coupling portion, enabling a lamp to be coupled to a pole. A mating connection extends between the pole coupling portion and the lamp coupling, and includes segments extending away from each of the pole coupling portion and lamp coupling portion, where the segments nest. The pole coupling portion has a pole coupling body and an internally disposed affixed ring having a gap portion. A clip is connected to the pole and is positioned within gap to limit radial rotation of the pole coupling portion. The lamp coupling portion has passageways for the passage of wires from the pole coupling portion to a lighting module attached to the lamp coupling portion. The light can be radially positioned with respect to a longitudinal axis of the pole and radially rotated with respect to the pole coupling portion.

Abstract: An antenna platform includes: a mounting assembly configured to mount to an antenna tower; a plurality of main floor sections, each of the main floor sections connected to the mounting assembly; a plurality of auxiliary floor sections, the auxiliary floor sections arranged in alternating relationship with the plurality of main floor sections to form an endless platform, each auxiliary floor section mounted to two adjacent main floor sections; a plurality of pole supports mounted to each main floor section; a plurality of horizontal antenna poles mounted to the plurality of pole supports, wherein some of the plurality of horizontal antenna poles are main horizontal antenna poles that are positioned radially outwardly of each main floor section, and wherein others of the plurality of horizontal antenna poles are auxiliary horizontal antenna poles that are positioned radially outwardly of each auxiliary floor section; and a plurality of vertical antenna poles mounted to the horizontal antenna poles.

Abstract: Systems, methods, devices, and apparatuses for intelligent traffic signaling are disclosed. Standalone traffic signals are equipped with a plurality of sensors including RF, radar, Wi-Fi, and cellular sensors, etc., for detecting approaching automobiles in an opposing traffic lane. The traffic signal is controlled by a processor at an attached or nearby controller box, and the processor is operable to receive speed, location, and heading data directly from nearby automobiles. The processor determines, based on detected or received data corresponding to approaching automobiles, a level of safeness associated with crossing the opposing traffic lane. The level of safeness is calculated by determining an expected time to arrival of an approaching automobile at the traffic intersection, and comparing the expected time to a width of the opposing traffic lane. A light pattern at the traffic light indicates the calculated level of safeness.

Abstract: Equipment racks, methods of installing equipment modules into equipment racks, and adaptor blocks for installing equipment modules into equipment racks are disclosed. In some examples, an equipment rack includes first and second rack rails and a carrier pack mounted to the first and second rack rails. The carrier pack includes first and second pack rails, each pack rail having a plurality of spaced apart mounting holes. The carrier pack includes first and second adapter blocks mounted to the first and second pack rails using the spaced apart mounting holes. Each of the first and second adapter blocks includes at least one post. The carrier pack includes an equipment module mounted to the first and second adapter blocks. The equipment module includes first and second spring loaded latches attached to the posts of the first and second adapter blocks.

Abstract: An antenna may include a tower extending vertically upward from a ground location, a first set of elongate antenna elements extending outwardly from the tower at a first height above the ground location, and a second set of elongate antenna elements extending outwardly from the tower at a second height above the ground location and below the first height. In some embodiments, at least one elongate antenna element of the first and second sets of elongate antenna elements may be electrically coupled to the ground location. A radio frequency (RF) feed may be electrically coupled to the first and second sets of elongate antenna elements.

Abstract: A work platform mounted to an antenna frame includes: an antenna frame comprising a plurality of horizontal members and a plurality of vertical members mounted on the horizontal members; at least one piece of communications equipment mounted on one of the plurality of vertical members; and a work platform mounted on at least two of the vertical members, one of the vertical members on which the work platform is mounted being the vertical member on which the communications equipment is mounted.

Abstract: A platform assembly, such as for a utility or communications monopole, can include a central mounting bracket, such as can be configured for mounting about a monopole. One or more or at least three platforms can extend laterally from the central mounting bracket. One or more or at least three lower rails can extend between adjacent pairs of the platforms. One or more or at least three upper rails can be located above respective lower rails. A plurality of vertical mounting pipes can interconnect respective upper rails to corresponding lower rails. The threaded exterior portion of the umbrella shaft is selectively threadable engageable with the inner threaded cavity of the cylindrical male attachment member. A hook is attached to the umbrella shaft proximal the top end, and a shovel is removably attachable to the hook. The inner chamber of the container base is fillable with a weighty substance that can include, but not be limited to, sand.

Abstract: A slide rail assembly includes a rail element, a bracket and a hook. The bracket is connected to the rail element and configured to be mounted to a post. The hook is connected to the bracket. When the bracket is mounted to the post, the rail element can be operatively moved to be adjacent to the hook in order to block the hook from moving relative to the bracket, such that the hook can be held at a position relative to the post.

Abstract: An adjustable mailbox post comprises a vertical support member rotatably attached to a cross-member. The cross-member extends through a transverse channel in the support member, such that a forward arm of the cross-member extends from the forward side of the support member, and a rear arm of the cross-member extends from the rear side of the support member. The forward arm supports a mailbox platform, to which a mailbox can be attached. Using a spring mechanism and/or an extendable strut, the forward arm of the post can be lifted from a horizontal position appropriate for mail delivery to an elevated position, in which the mailbox is out of the reach of passing snow-plows. Latching mechanisms are used to secure the forward arm of the post in either the horizontal delivery position or the elevated safety position.

Abstract: A weather-resistant, tear-resistant banner of polycarbonate material is mounted to a post or pole using a channel member and a bracket system that readily allows changing of seasonal banners. The polycarbonate die-cut banner is suspended along a single edge by the channel member which slides into the bracket. The bracket can be banded to virtually any post or pole regardless of shape or size.

Abstract: A structure is provided for coupling items such as signs, birdhouses and cameras to a fixed support structure is disclosed. Various mechanisms for attachment to a variety of supporting structures are described. The structure firmly holds an item in place, and the structure is capable of secure attachment to a variety of supporting structures.

Abstract: A two piece line guide is shown where the user can remove a pin or screw and rotate one portion of the line guide to open it and allow the user to install, remove or replace a line in the guide. In one embodiment the line guide opens in a vertical manner and in a second embodiment, the line guide opens in a horizontal manner. The line guides can be affixed to a flat surface while others can be affixed to a post or stanchion either with fasteners or lashings or both.

Abstract: A support assembly for a tree-based platform includes a rod having a length greater than a diameter of a tree to which the platform is intended to be attached. The assembly further includes a first ring defining an opening configured to receive a portion of a tree, and a first plurality of extending members inwardly advanceable relative to the first ring. Each support has a bottom rail, a top rail, and two side rails.

Abstract: A structure to hang a showerhead includes a fixed base and a supporting unit, wherein the supporting unit has two clamping arms and two conjugating arms, and one side of the clamping arms has a wedging surface that has two conjugating recessed arcs with an inclined angle corresponding to a mounting surface of the fixed base, and the inclined angle of one recessed arc is smaller than the other recessed arc. A conjugating surface extends from one end of the wedging surface, and engages with the other conjugating surface of the other clamping arm. An engaging surface is formed on the other side of the clamping arm to engage with the conjugating arms. According to this structure, the angle of the showerhead can be adjusted based on different inclined angles of the conjugating recessed arcs to further achieve the goal of easily adjusting the angle of water output from the showerhead.

Abstract: A pole mounting system for attaching auxiliary equipment to street poles is provided. The system comprises a pair of substantially part cylindrical clamps and tightening means to advance the clamps towards each other and thereby grasp an elongate pole about a substantially transverse cross-section thereof. Each of the clamps includes a multiplicity of spaced apart locator sites extending therearound and wherein each of the auxiliary equipment includes a substantially L-shaped portion having a foot which engages with at least some of the locator sites and a stem which depends from the foot whereby the attachment can be temporarily supported by inter-engagement of the foot and clamp(s). The radial positioning of the auxiliary equipment verified before the auxiliary equipment is secured to the clamp(s).

The framing bracket also includes a locking bracket attached to one end of the frame and an anchoring bracket attached to a second end of the frame. The locking bracket is affixed to the frame at a non-normal angle relative to a longitudinal axis extending through the leg such that the locking bracket is locked to a framing member of a building and the anchoring bracket supports the second end of the leg against the framing member when the framing bracket is removably attached to the framing member and the framing bracket is in a locked position.

The drill head is threaded and has a pointed free end to threadably bore the drill head into a tree trunk. The coupler has an outer end positioned distal to the central body. A shaft has a pair of threaded shaft ends one of which is attached to the coupler. A mounting panel has a peripheral edge having a threaded aperture therein. One of the shaft ends is extended into the threaded aperture and threadably coupled to the mounting panel. The mounting panel has at least one hole extending therethrough. A camera is mountable on the mounting panel after the drill head is extended into a tree to couple the camera to the tree.

Abstract: A method for production of masts with extruded bodies includes joining at least three mast elements at corners of the mast by cooperating rail sections and channel sections. The channel sections are provided with tapered inner wall sections. The mast elements are joined by inserting the rail section of one mast element into a channel section of an adjacent mast element and clamping the rail section in the channel section. The clamping is accomplished moving a roller in a longitudinal direction on the external sides of the channel section and causing permanent deformation of the walls of the channel section around the rail section to establish a permanently joined corner.

The accessory has a connecting portion and an abutment portion. The fastening unit extends through the connecting portion and the first and second clamp ears along an axis. The fastening unit is operable to move the first clamp ear toward and away from the second clamp ear. The axis is oriented such that rotation of the accessory about the axis is prevented as a result of contact of the abutment portion with the inner tube and a top end of the inner tube.

Abstract: A saw horse comprises a pair of frames each assembled from a plurality of wooden struts joined by metal formings of sheet stock. Fabric hinges join the frames at their upper ends. The metal formings are positioned and closed around the beams with piercings engaging the fabric hinges. Spreader struts are also hinged by a fabric strap that permits the spreader struts to lay in horizontal positions when the frames are pulled into an A-shape, and to be oriented in side-by-side vertical positions when the frames are folded together.

Abstract: A platform for climbing and/or standing on a vehicle-mounted box by a person having a greater than average girth is provided. In one embodiment, the platform includes a tread, an arm, and a bracket. The tread has a surface area sufficiently sized so that a person of greater than average girth has room to place his feet on the tread while climbing and/or standing on a vehicle-mounted box. The arm is attached to the tread. The bracket pivotally secures the arm such that the attached tread pivots about the bracket. The bracket tightly holds the tread to provide stability during transportation in a storage position and during use in a use position. In another embodiment, the platform also includes a tube. The tube includes holes spaced apart along its length. The location of the bracket is vertically adjustable along the tube.

Abstract: A non-boring support system, or a temporary arm gain, is described. The support system enables attaching a supporting arm to an existing utility pole. The support system can include a securing assembly and a mounting member. The securing assembly can define an aperture sufficiently large enough to receive and secure the supporting arm. The mounting member can be adapted to mount the securing assembly to the utility pole.

Abstract: A flagpole top support bracket assembly for a top end of a flagpole is disclosed, and includes a cap for mounting on the upper end of the flagpole. The cap defines a cavity for receiving an upper portion of the flagpole, and the cavity extends inwardly from an opening in a lower end of the cap. The cap has an outer surface and an annular groove formed in the outer surface. The bracket assembly further includes a support mounted on the cap, and the support is rotatable with respect to the cap. The support includes a mounting lip for resisting sliding of the support off of the cap, and the mounting lip extends inwardly toward the cap and is configured to be at least partially positioned in the annular groove of the cap.

Abstract: A lifting bracket and associated lifting bracket system for mounting on an anchor pier for lifting generally horizontal building supports such as foundations, wherein the lifting bracket includes, collectively, a lifting plate, a gusset plate and a slide collar. The slide collar may be elongate and sized to fit snugly over an exposed upper end of the anchor pier for sliding engagement thereon. The lifting plate is mounted to the slide collar so as to extend cantilevered in a first direction substantially orthogonally therefrom, and so as to leave at least an upper portion of the slide collar extending upwardly from the lifting plate. The gusset plate is rigidly mounted at a lower edge thereof to an upper surface of the lifting plate so as to extend substantially entirely across the lifting plate in a second direction substantially orthogonal to the first direction, and is rigidly mounted at at least an upper portion thereof to the upper portion of the slide collar disposed above the lifting plate.

Abstract: A floor system includes a pair of joist rim assemblies each having a web defining a first surface. The web also includes a mounting portion defining a second surface offset from the first surface. The joist rim may also include a prong defining a slot along with the web. A joist connector bracket is received within the slot and is connectable to the mounting portion of the web. A joist extends between the pair of joist rim assemblies and is connected to the joist connector bracket of each joist rim assembly.

Abstract: Brackets for a clotheshorse are used in pairs. Each bracket has multiple collars that align respectively with multiple collars defined in the other opposite bracket. A vertical socket is formed at a bottom of the bracket in which a telescoping rod of the clotheshorse is mounted. Multiple slots are vertically defined in the bracket and extend inward to respectively communicate with the multiple collars to hold longitudinal members of a rack inside the multiple collars through the slots. Thereby, a bracket assembly mounted on the clotheshorse enables versatile accessories to be mounted on the clotheshorse.

Abstract: In this invention a hanger is used for attaching cross members to a vertical support structure. The hanger is made up of a box part that includes a mounting surface, two spaced distal openings and a central opening that is located between the two distal openings. The distal openings have been adapted to accommodate a fastening device. The central opening is designed to accommodate a cross member. When in use, the mounting surface of the hanger is placed against a vertical support structure and secured into position using the fastening devices. Once two hangers have been secured, a cross member is slid into and through the central openings of the two hangers, being supported by the hangers. The cross members can then provide a base onto which a platform may be assembled for such uses as hunting, camping, or other outdoor activities.
