Abstract: The invention relates to a mounting arrangement for optical devices having a mounting plate forming an undercut guide for receiving a clamping plate, the mounting plate comprising a side bar in which an undercut profile groove is formed, and having a strip located opposite the bar movably connected to the mounting plate via a clamping mechanism and a second undercut profile groove forming the undercut guide together with the first undercut profile groove, the strip being able to be tightened against the mounting plate by the clamping mechanism to fix the clamping plate, whereby the spacing distance between the undercut profile grooves is reduced. The sign panel of such an illuminated emergency sign can be rotated within 180 degrees and fixed at a proper angle under action of the friction.

The first mounting flange is adapted to seat in the first seating channel. The second mounting flange is adapted to engage the second seating flange when the first mounting flange is seated in the first seating channel.

Abstract: The invention discloses unique brackets, which form a bracket assembly that may be placed at any location of various components to form an assembly piece, such as furniture. An assembled furniture piece made of furniture panels interconnected with attached engaging and receiving brackets is provided. The engaging and receiving brackets are positioned on components to facilitate the connection of the components. A method to assemble furniture having preformed arm, base, seat and back components is provided. This method of assembly saves on shipment costs, and facilitates the repair of damaged furniture.

Abstract: A twist lock mount for quick mounting and positioning a device to a support includes a mount receiving member attachable to or integral with the support and a mounting member attachable to or integral with a device to be mounted. The receiving member provides a channel covered by flanges that further define a narrower channel or slot. The mounting member is configured to slide into the channel when it is in one rotational orientation and to lock securely into place when it is in another. A rotation in the opposite direction will unlock the device so that the mount can be slid out of the channel quickly and easily. The twist lock mount simply and effectively prevents movement in the longitudinal, transverse and axial directions and is well suited for use in harsh, high vibration environments.

A pair of arcuate wedge members are provided, to engage the opposite side upper wall corner portions of the car console. The first arcuate wedge member further includes a lateral side edge portion thereof forming a slider lip sized for complementary sliding engagement with the lengthwise groove of the first side edge portion of the template. The second arcuate wedge member further includes a lateral side edge portion thereof forming a slider lip sized for complementary sliding engagement with the lengthwise groove of the second side edge portion of the template.

Abstract: A system is provided for mounting medical accessories on support structures that includes a female mounting component for mounting to a supportive structure and a male mounting component for mounting to a medical accessory. The female mounting component includes a receiver assembly comprising a base member and a pair of opposed channel members on the base member to form a receptive channel, which has upper and lower ends and a transverse dimension decreasing from the upper to lower ends. The female mounting component includes a first mounting structure attached to the receiver assembly. The male mounting component comprises an insertion member removably insertable into the receptive channel of the female mounting component at the upper end thereof. The insertion member has upper and lower ends and a transverse dimension that decreases from the upper to lower ends. The male mounting component includes a second mounting structure attached to the insertion member.

Abstract: A part retention system for mating parts comprises a pair of flexible guide ribs, integrated into a cap which is to be attached or interlocked. Each of the guide ribs incorporates one or more detents, which force the guide ribs apart as a tab on the mating component moves along the detents. The guide ribs having angled locating portions to direct the guide ribs over the tab to facilitate blind installation.

Abstract: A display unit including a plastic panel and first and second generally L-shaped plastic frame members attached to opposed edges of the panel to form a generally U-shaped assembly. The panel includes structure for enabling the display of merchandise. The display unit includes mounting components for mounting the assembly to a substrate, such as a column in a store, round, rectangular or square, or ends of a shelving unit. The U-shaped assembly is preferably made entirely of a plastic which is rigid yet somewhat resilient. A method for optimizing an exposed column in a store for sales purposes is also disclosed in which a generally U-shaped plastic assembly having a panel is mounted to the column and the panel is provided with structure for enabling the display of merchandise.
