Abstract: This invention is embodied in a bracket for installing side-mount, slide-out shelving. The key to this invention is an offset section of the bracket that permits the bracket to engage with a tab 4 on the side-mount slide. By engaging the bracket and the side-mount slide without having to use a fastener, an installer can locate and fasten the bracket to the existing cabinet base, thus securing the side-mount slide to the cabinet.

Abstract: A thermally stabilized fastener system and method is disclosed. The disclosed system/method integrates a fastener (FAS) incorporating a faster retention head (FRH), fastener retention body (FRB), and fastener retention tip (FRT) to couple a mechanical member stack (MMS) in a thermally stabilized fashion using a fastener retention receiver (FRR). The MMS includes a temperature compensating member (TCM), a first retention member (FRM), and an optional second retention member (SRM). The TCM is constructed using a tailored thermal expansion coefficient (TTC) that permits the TCM to compensate for the thermal expansion characteristics of the FAS, FRM, and SRM such that the force applied by the FRH and FRR portions of the FAS to the MMS is tailored to a specific temperature force profile (TFP) over changes in MMS/FAS temperature. The TCM may be selected with a TTC to achieve a uniform TFP over changes in MMS/FAS temperature.

Abstract: A multi-functional retrofit cover plate assembly and method for an electric water heater to provide interconnection with an alternative energy system to heat water in a water holding tank of the electric water heater. The cover plate is adapted for replacement connection over a bottom access opening formed in an outer casing of the electric water heater which permits access to a bottom resistive heating element and electrical connections. The retrofit cover plate is shaped to define an internal dedicated compartment. A dual resistive heating element is provided for replacement of the bottom resistive heating element. An electronic switch unit is further provided and it has a power cut-off switch for connection to an alternative supply voltage.

The mounting brackets and installation methods disclosed herein provide more efficient installations of fixtures including as electrical junction boxes, communications boxes, conduit, pipe, lighting, and cables.

Abstract: An adjustable fence post coupler is shown and described. The adjustable fence post coupler includes a fence connection plate. The fence connection plate has a plurality of apertures located through the plate. The apertures are configured to allow for fasteners to be placed though and into the fence securing the fence connection plate to the fence. The fence connection plate is connected to at least two connection bolts. The connection bolts are connected to a fence post coupler strap. The connection strap has at least two tubes attached to the connection strap. The connection bolts go through the tubes securing them to the fence post coupler strap. The fence post coupler strap is connected to a fence post. The adjustable fence post coupler is used to adjust the distance from the fence post that the fence is installed at. This allows for a perfectly linear fence.

Displaying decorative plants and obscuring the sidewall and rim of the larger pot reduces the need to select the larger pot based upon factors such as material, quality, and design, which can all greatly influence the cost of the larger pot. The particular angle of display can be adjusted byproviding adjustable or variably sized hangers and spacers.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a low noise, compact rotary compressor configured to damp noise and vibration generated from internal components. The compressor may include a stator holder coupled to the stator and the pump, providing physical separation between the stator and the casing. The compressor may also include a pump holder coupled to the pump and the casing, providing physical separation between the pump and the casing. Additional damping components may be placed at various coupling points within and around the stator holder and/or pump holder. The suction line connection may also be configured to reduce noise and vibration. Aspects of the present disclosure may be applicable for reducing the noise and vibration in a number of fluid displacement devices and BLDC motors.

Abstract: A fixture and methods of using the fixture that can be used in situ to perform repair and maintenance work on a generator shaft and associated components of a wind turbine generator is described. The movable plate includes having a mounting hole and is adapted to slidably engage each of the parallel tracks. A knockout plate spans the mounting hole and is removably connected to the movable plate via a breakable member. Abstract: Two connectors are used to improve a system of wood framing commonly used to form roof and floor assemblies. The first, the end-to-end connector, allows end-to- end connection of secondary members. The joint thus formed acts as a structural hinge which, when properly located, significantly reduces maximum moment and deflection compared to current simple-span conditions. The second, the top mount connector, provides a secure connection between continuous secondary members and the tops of primary members. This connector provides support for the secondary members and, by resisting rotation between the primary and secondary members, provides superior bracing of the primary member. Used together, the connectors provide an new way of supporting members in a structure, that both reduces maximum moment and deflection and resists rotation between the primary members and the secondary members.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for providing immediate, direct illumination of the cooking surface of an outdoor cooking grill. The method employs the installation of a one-piece metallic light fixture holder attachable to cooking grills which have a hinged, curvilinear grill cover. The light fixture holder comprises a rigid, symmetrically-bent channel member, at least one horizontally-oriented curvilinear attachment arm, fastening tabs, and at least one pre-drilled hole in each fastening tab, said holes, corresponding to holes commonly used to attach a handle to a grill cover. The pre-drilled holes of the fastening tab of the light fixture holder allow the light fixture holder to be easily fastened and co-located in holes provided for the original manufacturer's grill cover handle. An appropriately-sized LED or battery-powered light fixture is then securely placed within the channel segment of the light fixture holder.
