Abstract: A mounting system for providing resilient mounting of a display device at a defined tilt angle. A surface mounting bracket configured to be attached to a mounting surface includes an engagement member and an engagement lip which are in communication with at least one engagement feature disposed on a display device bracket configured to be attached to a display device such as a flat panel television. The engagement feature, engagement lip, and engagement member are configured such that communication among these features results in an assembly that is resilient to inadvertent physical contact with the display device. The display device bracket is tiltable with respect to the surface mounting bracket, providing a defined tilt angle of the display device. Provision of a plurality of engagement features disposed on the display device bracket offers alternative assembly configurations, each capable of having defined tilt angles.

The hook assembly comprises a hook support and a hook member pivotally attached thereto. The hook support comprises an attachment surface and a hook-receiving depression. The hook member is pivotal intermediate a hook-withdrawn position and a hook-extended position. The depression is sized and shaped for housing the hook member when in the hook-withdrawn position. The table-attachment surface may be fixedly attached to the inferior support surface, and the hook actuation end may effectively function to receive and hang articles when the hook member is in the hook-extended position.

Abstract: A hair collection device for collecting hair from the hand of user to remove hair from the head left on the hand of the user during a shower. The hair collection device includes a collection member being designed for being selectively coupled to a wall of the shower. The collection member is designed for receiving the hair from the hand of the user to allow the user to collect the hair at a later time to be thrown out when the hand of the user is wiped across the collection member. At least one mounting member is coupled to the collection member. The mounting member is designed for selectively engaging the wall of the shower to secure the collection member to the wall.

Abstract: A one-piece cable support having a box-shaped mounting assembly. The box-shaped mounting assembly extends over a cable tray portion of the cable support and includes several optional mounting apertures. Once secured to a building structure through the box-shaped assembly, the weight of a suspended bundle of cables is distributed evenly below the box-shaped assembly, thereby permitting the load to be balanced evenly below the assembly and reducing the bending moment and therefore the stress on the wall portion connecting the cable tray and mounting assembly portions of the support. A bracket assembly is provided on the bottom of the cable support to allow easy ganging of multiple cable supports without the need for specialized brackets. Stiffeners are included on the cable support to improve the withstanding of bending forces. A cable retaining arrangement secures cable bundles within the support.

Abstract: A hanger device for securely hanging a purse, backpack or similar item from a variety of elevated surfaces, such as a table top or chair. The hanger device consists of a C-shaped continuous-piece frame having swiveling lower hook portion which may be locked into a desired position and an upper female receiver portion to which interchangeable end pieces for releasably securing the device to a surface are releasably engaged via a spring-release locking mechanism in the locking portion of each end piece. The end piece has a non-slip pad on its bottom side to prevent damage to a surface upon which its rests. The hanger device is preferably constructed of a metal, such as aluminum, or, alternatively, durable plastic. An alternative embodiment provides an end piece having a telescopic extension portion to adjust the length of the end piece for securing the hanger device surface of varying widths or depths.

Abstract: A holder for holding a plastic shopping/grocery bag open includes a bracket joined to U-shaped frame formed by a base and a pair of coplanar bag support arms, the frame forming an outwardly open U-shaped space to receive and hold the bag by the handles at the openable end of the bag and suspend and maintain the mouth of the bag in an upwardly open position. The bracket is designed for mounting the holder atop a kitchen cabinet door or held by hand. Each support arm includes two axially spaced slots that open outwardly and away from the U-shaped space to hold a respective looped handle of the bag. Reinforcing rib structure operates to resist flexure between the arms, bracket, and base. In use, the looped handles of the bag are secured into the slots and the bag suspended from the extensions and held open by its looped handles being secured into slots of the extensions.

The panel has a generally rectangular shape such that the peripheral edge includes a front edge, a back edge, a first side edge and a second side edge. A peripheral wall is attached to the peripheral edge and extends upwardly away therefrom. A plurality of magnets is attached to the bottom side of the panel. Each of a pair of brackets is attached to the panel. The brackets are spaced from each other. Each of a pair of couplers is removably attached to one of the brackets and each is adapted for selectively coupling the brackets to a support beam.

The load bearing or attachment point is attached to the body relative to the opening such that application of a load at the load bearing point while the first contact area is contacting a component rotates the body about the first contact area until the second contact area abuts the component. This self-locking feature allows the hook to be used effectively on both component surfaces which are slightly angled or sloped and with loads which are not perpendicular to the component surface.

Attached to the upper most portion of the integral arm is a crispate top which is substantially identical in configuration and shape, to the arcuate portion of the underside of the rolled rim sink to which it is attached. The fastening means is received by the slots of the hanger bracket and gib and detachably holds the device together.

Abstract: A system for mounting taxidermy animal trophies on mounting devices comprises a support platform having a rod protruding therefrom. The rod is a ribbed member having a large plurality of features for securing an animal mount, such as a skull, thereto. For example, the ribbed member may comprise a concrete reinforcement bar that may be sized in diameter and length according to the size of the mount. The rod uses the natural occurring or existing hole or holes in the back of the skull for support thereof. The rod may extend straight from the support platform, such as for wall mounting purposes, or may comprise a bent portion at a distal end thereof for surface display of the mount.

Abstract: A retractable hanger comprising a base member which has recessed mounted therein a hook. The base member is adapted to be securely mounted on the exterior structure with the base member being recessed within the exterior structure. The hook is capable of pivotable movement between a retracted position and an extended position. When in the extended position, the hook is capable of having articles hung thereon. A spring connects to the hook that exerts a bias on the hook to move the hook from the extended position to the retracted position.

Abstract: An adjustable wreath hanger, preferably made of molded plastic, is disclosed herein that preferably comprises a hanger strip attachable to the top of a door or other object and a hook strip that slidably engages the hanger strip to permit selective variation of the distance between a rearwardly facing door hook and a forwardly facing wreath hook. The hanger strip preferably comprises a plurality of forwardly facing detent members into which a tooth projecting rearwardly from an engagement tab on the hook strip can be selectively engaged or disengaged to vary the relative positions of the two strips, thereby effectively elongating the length of the wreath hanger.

The arm is pivotable between a load bearing and load releasing position. A first magnet is secured to the arm and a second magnet is secured to the base. The first magnet is magnetically connected to the second magnet to maintain the arm in the load bearing position. The magnetic connection is releasable to permit the arm to move towards the load releasing position when a load having a weight in excess of a predetermined weight is applied to the arm. The first magnet provides weight for returning the arm to the load bearing position after the load has been released. Such hooks are particularly useful in schools to reduce the possibility of children being hung from hooks.

The crown includes an open-ended slot for sliding onto a link of the chain. The crown can be positioned along the chain, thus varying the height of the saddle along the chain and helping maintain a desired routing of the communication cable.
