The window-mounted system includes a mounting assembly connected to a surveillance assembly, wherein the mounting assembly engages an upper portion of a window of a vehicle or similar property. The surveillance portion provides an arrangement of unit cases, wherein each unit case retains a device for data collection, displaying data and/or surveilling a vehicle or property.

The platform is selectively movable towards and away from the base, and is selectively tiltable with respect to the base. A push-pull screw is secured to and between the platform and the base, to selectively displace the platform towards and away from the base. The push-pull screw has a ball-and-socket type joint between the platform and the base, with the platform tiltable with respect to the base about the ball-and-socket type joint. A cylindrical bellows has a proximal end sealed to the base and a distal end sealed to the platform, and circumscribes the push-pull screw between the base and the platform. The bellows can react torque exerted on the platform by a fastener of the push-pull screw.

When joining the protective shell and the support, the male and female connectors need only be placed in approximate of each other for the connectors to be drawn towards each other and guided into proper alignment by magnetic force exerted by the two magnets. This way, the user's sight on the joining process is not necessary.

The magnet further may assist in retaining and/or stabilizing the holder in its attachment to the side edge of the table. The holder may include grooves for receiving certain types and/or sizes of instruments. During performance of a medical procedure the holder may be moved to a different side edge of the table. The holder preferably is contained within a plastic, transparent, pliable sleeve for maintaining sterility of the holder, whereby the holder is reusable in subsequent procedures.

The mounting apparatus allows an object to be mounted to a mounting surface via magnetic attractions between different planes of engagement. Through the movement of planes of magnets, an object that is brought in proximity to the mounting apparatus may engage one of the magnetic planes and then be moved further to engage the other magnetic plane, with the combined magnetic force being configured to support the particular object for which the mounting apparatus is designed. The engagement and/or disengagement of the object from the mounting apparatus can thus occur in stages and/or in a tiered manner.

The swivel joint and flexible connector provide the combinational benefit of adjusting the position of the tablet computer. The attaching means may include a wall mount or spring clamp. A device includes a backing member that can be suspended on the vertical surface, and has at least two slots. At least two prongs have bases for supporting the coin. The prongs can be inserted in the slots by an amount that adjusts for the previously unknown diameter of the coin. A letter of promotion can be framed, and the device can be attached to a front glass surface of the frame. This way, a coin can be displayed without occupying table space. Moreover, a challenge coin can be displayed together with the framed letter of promotion.

Abstract: A reusable device for detachably mounting an object to a platform includes a breakaway plate that is mounted to the object and a mounting bracket that is fixed to the platform. The breakaway plate is formed with a circumferential groove, and an o-ring is placed in the groove. A tooth ring having a slight gap is positioned over the o-ring. As a retaining ring is placed over the o-ring and tooth ring and fastened to the mounting bracket, the tooth ring compresses, which causes the o-ring to compress and engage the tooth ring at a breakaway force of the object. When an applied force that is greater than the breakaway force is applied to the object, the o-ring pops out to separate the object and platform. The o-ring durometer is chosen according to the magnitude of breakaway force that is desired by the user.
