  • Patent number: 7669742
Abstract: A tactical device holster (TDH) system is described that is a complete carry and deployment solution allowing for split-second deployment of hand-held non-lethal/lethal deployable devices (HNLDD) by tactical personnel. The TDH system allows tactical personnel to deploy HNLDDs without having to disarm because deployment requires only a single hand, and the TDH system indexes the HNLDD in the proper position for deployment. The TDH system allows the HNLDD to go from secure carry to deployment in under one second while not impeding the deadly force option during deployment. The TDH system keeps the fuze lever of the HNLDD fixed in a pre-specified position. The HNLDD is not altered for use with the TDH system and allows quick insertion of the HNLDD. The TDH system supports numerous HNLDDs and tactical pyrotechnic and incendiary devices, and can be fixed to various tactical clothing, vests, holsters, equipment, and vehicle components.

  • Patent number: 7571881
Abstract: A universal mounting mechanism for holding objects, such as electrical, medical, optical or audio/visual components needing secure physical connection to another surface in such a way that the mounted object can be easily and quickly installed and removed. It locks the object by providing surfaces on three planes that firmly engage the object so it does not move during transportation or when mounted on a fixed surface. It is low in profile so it does not obstruct the use of the items being held. The mount has no loose parts that can be lost during installation or removal of the mounted objects. Furthermore, the mount has the added feature of locking into either the open or closed position. Abstract: A sprinkler riser clamp securely engages a spring-retractable riser of a pop-up sprinkler. The riser clamp includes a clamping body and a handle attached thereto. The clamping body is configured to snap onto and securely grip the spring-retractable riser of the pop-up sprinkler. The clamping body exerts a gripping force while the spring-retractable riser exerts a retracing force. The gripping force exerted by the clamping body exceeds the retraction force exerted by the spring-retractable riser. The clamping body includes a resilient first clamp arm and a resilient second clamp arm connected by a joint at one end of each arm. The clamping body includes an opening for receiving the spring-retractable riser. The first clamp arm and second clamp arm of the clamping body each include rounded bottom edges configured to facilitate installation and removal by pivoting motion. The handle is attached to the clamping body by an arm. The handle has blunt ends.

Abstract: A universal clamp assembly having a support fitting with arms and a threaded bolt mounted to the arms allowing rotation about a longitudinal axis of the bolt. The bolt is retained against axial movement along the longitudinal axis. A clamp member is rotatably mounted on the bolt between the arms for rotation of the clamp member relative to the support fitting about the longitudinal axis. The clamp member is restrained against axial movement relative to the support fitting and the bolt along the longitudinal axis. The clamp includes a guide opening through which the bolt extends. A keeper is threadedly mounted on the bolt and partially received in the guide opening. The keeper slides in the guide opening along the longitudinal axis and is restrained against rotation about the longitudinal axis of the bolt relative to the clamp member. The keeper is rotatable about the longitudinal axis concurrently with the clamp member.

Abstract: A locking bracket for securing virtually any commercial grade hand truck to the cargo bed of a delivery truck or any other surface for safety and security. The locking bracket generally comprises a flat mounting plate, a kick-lever pivotally attached to the mounting plate for kick-release, and a push rod attached to the other end of the lever. The push rod extends to a clamping mechanism including two upwardly protruding spaced blocks housing opposed laterally-closing clamping teeth. In operation, a hand truck is locked in place overtop in a standing position with the center strut of its nose plate clamped between the teeth. Urging the lever forward with one's foot drives the push rod which opens the clamping teeth for quick-kick release of the hand truck.
