Abstract: A hanger for hanging of garlands and the like around a doorway can be removably placed within a doorway, where it is secured by pressure and friction, thereby avoiding any damage to the door or door frame. The hanger includes outward extensions that extend outward of the door frame to permit hanging of garlands and the like on either side of the doorway. The hanger may also include one or more central extensions for supporting the garlands or the like centrally above the doorway so that the garland or the like does not hang downward too much, thus keeping the doorway clear. The hanger can also be a part of the decoration around the doorway. Various configurations of the hanger may fit different widths of door frames, including a wide range of door frame widths, and features of the hanger provide additional flexibility for different door configurations including sidelights.

Abstract: The invention is incorporated in a clamp that can quickly clamp and release an object between two plates. The invention enables a user to quickly clamp an object with one hand and without the need for mechanical assistance to increase the clamping pressure on the clamped object like a screw clamp or a ratcheting clamp. The invention enables a user to quickly clamp and release objects such as bicycles, shotguns and other objects without damaging those objects in the clamping process. The clamp can be mounted to a wall, table or other structure to provide a convenient and easy way to store and mount objects.

Abstract: An inexpensive, durable, clamping-action type mountable holder and area organizer for securing a relatively wide range and variety of objects, particularly open- and close-end containers, including a broad range of Dim. cans, and a method of lockingly and stably holding desired objects that possess opposing curved and/or straight lipped edges, in convenient locations for ready access, whereby the object is secured in place with a single unidirectional pushing force applied to the object itself, but is instantly releasable with a minimum of force and movement/manipulation via a second low-magnitude unidirectional pushing force exerted on the object so as to effect a tipping action of the object relative to the holder. Single wire and single sheet metal embodiments are disclosed, and adjustability of each of such embodiments is provided to extend the range of object sizes accommodated by the holder.

  • Patent number: 6622532
Abstract: A cable lock assembly has a base, a cylinder, a cable and a cord holder. The base is adapted to be attached to the computer with a fastener. The cylinder is mounted on the base and has a lock unit, a keyhole and a lock post. The cable is detachably connected to the base with one end and locked by the lock post. The other end of the cable is used to loop around an object. The cord holder is detachably attached to the base and locked by the lock post to hold the cords of the computer. Consequently, the computer can be locked to an object with the cable lock assembly. The computer will not be stolen or inappropriately moved even if the cords of the computer are cut off or are pulled out from the computer.

  • Patent number: 6523975
Abstract: An adjustable support member for attaching fluorescent lamps to a light strip fixture body. The adjustable support member is easily adjusted to accommodate fixture bodies having a variety of widths, thereby simplifying the upgrading of existing light fixtures to use more energy efficient bulbs. The support member includes a generally planar support body having a pair of channels formed thereon, and a pair of angle brackets which may be slid into the respective channels to a desired width. The angle brackets are held at a desired width by the ratchet/pawl effect of mating detents formed on the support body and the angle brackets. The channels are formed by stamping generally L-shaped channel members integral with the support body material. A reflector having a center ridge is formed to have a mounting tab by cutting a generally U-shaped opening along the center ridge. The mounting tab is then easily flattened for attachment to the support body for installing the reflector as part of the fixture upgrade.
