Abstract: A cushion device for a foldable chair includes a buffer member and a tension spring. The buffer member includes a sleeve portion for sleeving over a side part of a rear leg, a buffer portion provided on the sleeve portion and an embedded portion provided along a side of the sleeve portion and embedded inside a side channel of the rear leg and secured thereat via a fixing element. The tension spring includes a spring body having a first hooking portion fixed a pivot plate of a seat and a second hooking portion including a second extension section, a second bent section engaging a limiting plate of a front leg and a third extension section extending from the second bent section in such a manner to prevent disengagement of the second bent section of the tension spring from a hooking hole in the limiting plate.

Abstract: The present invention provides a back sheet for a solar cell, the back sheet including a polymer base and a polymer layer that is disposed by coating on at least one surface of the polymer base material, the polymer layer including an amorphous colloidal silica and, as a binder, at least one of a polymer selected from a fluorine-based polymer or a silicone-based polymer, the polymer formed by coating having excellent uniformity and the back sheet having superior weather resistance compared to conventional back sheets.

Abstract: A system for carrying a respiratory ventilator and respiratory ventilator power supply on a support. The support may be fixed or inclinable, and the device includes at lease one body portion having a first receiver that receives the respiratory ventilator and a second receiver that receives the respiratory ventilator power supply. A coupling is connected to the body portion that attaches the body portion to the support. The coupling is configured to cause the body portion to incline in response to, and generally to the same extent as, inclination of the support in order to present a relatively low profile to the surroundings.

Abstract: Some embodiments generally relate to a hook assembly, including a pivotable hook body adapted to rotate about a pivot axis running in a generally vertical direction. According to some embodiments, the hook assembly can further include at least one hook portion including a generally vertical recess defined by a portion of the top side of the hook body extending downwardly toward a bottom side. The assembly can further include a pivot member for pivoting the pivotable hook body about the pivot axis; and a frame member adapted to receive the pivotable hook body in a stowed configuration or one or more deployed configurations. Furthermore, frame member is adapted to fix the hook body in a pivotal relation about the pivot axis and can include an indexing opening or seat for defining one or more indexed orientations such as a stowed orientation or a deployed orientation.

Abstract: An attachable hanging hook for removably hanging a carrying bag from an upper edge of a vertical support surface or from an edge of a horizontal support surface includes a pair of hooks and a central joint. A first hook is pivotably movable about the joint and a second hook is rotatably movable about the joint. Depending upon the orientation of the hooks relative to one another, the carrying bag can be securely suspended from a horizontal support or a vertical support. The joint also allows the hooks to be collapsibly folded onto one another for storage.

Abstract: A universal travel hook including first and second hook members and a connector member which pivotally connects the first and second hook members for rotation about an axis such that when in a closed configuration, the first hook member opens generally in the same direction as the second hook member in side-by-side relationship, and when in an open configuration, the first hook member opens generally in the opposite direction as the second hook member. In one embodiment, the connector is a split ring which pivotally connects to the hook members by extending through a through opening in the proximal end portion of each hook member. When in an open configuration, the first hook member is adapted for placement over a door or other object while the second hook projects outwardly therefrom and is adapted to receive and hold an article of clothing, a bag, or other object.

Abstract: An ornament hanger is disclosed for hanging an ornament on a display, such as a Christmas tree. The ornament hanger includes an upper portion removably linkable to the display and a lower portion engaged with the upper portion. The lower portion includes at least two ornament retaining members, to facilitate hanging multiple ornaments from a single branch. In a preferred embodiment, the upper portion slidably engages the lower portion, thereby allowing one to adjust the position of the ornament retaining members.

Abstract: An apparatus for hanging a medical device is provided. The apparatus includes a shaft, a mounting portion coupled to an end portion of the shaft and configured for mounting the apparatus for movement with respect to the medical device, and a hook portion positioned at an opposite end portion of the shaft and configured for hanging the apparatus from a support. The shaft is configured to permit rotation of the hook portion with respect to the mounting portion, thereby facilitating orientation of the hook portion with respect to the support.

Abstract: A suspended table assembly includes a first support and a second support that are vertically spaced from each other. A plurality of legs is provided. Each of the legs has a first end and a second end. Each of a plurality of first brackets is pivotally coupled to one of the first ends. The first brackets are attached to the first support. A plurality of second brackets is also provided. Each of the second brackets is pivotally coupled to one of the second ends and each of the second brackets is attached to the second support.

Abstract: A hook device for securement to the substantially horizontal, bottom surface of a table top, bar top, or the like for supporting personal items. The hook device includes a base, a hook, and an attachment mechanism pivotally securing the hook to the base. The attachment mechanism includes a torsion spring that biases the hook into a stored position in which the hook is substantially parallel to the bottom surface of the table top. To use the hook, the hook is pivoted away from the table surface and a personal item, such as a purse, handbag, backpack, coat, or the like is placed on the hook. Once the personal item is removed, the hook returns to its stored position.

Abstract: A rotatable hanger adapted for suspendedly hanging on a building structure, which includes a hanging means and a supporting means rotatably affixed to the hanging means, wherein the supporting means includes a top plate connected to the hanging means, a base plate for supporting an ornamental object thereon, and at least two adjustable belts connecting the top plate to the base plate, in such a manner the ornamental object is adapted to be rotatably supported on the supporting means for selectively showing a lateral view of the ornamental object.

Abstract: An overhead swivel hanging apparatus consisting of a mount(10) and a support(30), i.e. a grab. When assembled the apparatus is utilized to hang pendant objects, such as a plant or a bird cage, from a ceiling or the like. The mount is comprised of a base (12), a cross brace(14), a connective means(16), an ornamental shell (18), a pendant leg(20), and a spherical bearing (22) cast as a single piece. The support, mill stamped from tensile steel as a single piece, is an C-shaped hook with a widened U shaped grab(34) on the inferior aspect. On the superior aspect of the support is a slot(28) with a flange(24) which narrows posterior into keeper tabs(26). The keeper tabs are narrower than said slot which is wider than said leg. The internal surface has a concavity(32) bisected by the slot which facilitates a ball and socket integration with the bearing.

Abstract: The apparatus is a hanger for the ends of the axle of a roll of sheet goods such as carpeting. The hanger is a short "U" channel with a spindle attached across the top of the "U" and protruding out from one side. The spindle is used to substitute for the pin between links of vertical endless chains which hold multiple rolls for display. The side of the "U" opposite from the protruding spindle has a slot which curves down from a vertical edge of the side toward the bottom of the "U". A spring loaded catch pivots across the slot, but only moves in the direction which permits the end of a roller axle to enter the slot while preventing the axle from lifting out from the slot.

Abstract: A wall-mounted hook for hanging a string instrument from a neck proximate a head having pegs for tuning strings comprising a wall-mounting plate having a protruding base, a yoke having a shaft and two prongs extending from said shaft, said prongs being spaced to engage said instrument around said neck thereof proximate said tuning head, and means for securing said shaft to said base and for allowing said yoke to swivel on said base about an axis of said shaft.

Abstract: A swing apparatus that can be used in many different configurations includes a "seat" portion for supporting a child or other user for swinging travel in a selective variety of paths. The swing includes a frame which supports the seat by one or more flexible or rigid support links for movement in a plurality of paths. The links can be selectively connected to a number of different suspension points on the frame and, similarly, on a number of different connection points on the seat to provide many different configuration or uses to provide multiple paths of travel for the seat.

Abstract: To enable mail bags to be disengaged from a bag rack without lifting, bag hooks are provided with a constant radius curvature about a pivotal axis and are equipped with a handle for enabling them to be rotatively manually biased so that when used alone or in conjunction with fixed top bag supporting posts, a filled mail bag may be released from a bag rack and closed without requiring strenuous physical exertion on the part of a postal worker.

Abstract: An anchoring device for securing a member to a wall, particularly where there is access to only one surface of the wall. The anchoring device employs a toggle plate having a threaded opening therein, with the toggle plate dimensioned to fit into a hole through the wall to which it is desired to secure the member. An elongate engaging element coupleable to the member to be secured to the wall and dimensioned of a size to extend through the wall opening into the toggle plate opening is provided. At least a portion of the engaging element is flexible so that at least a part of the engaging element may be bent into a plane parallel to and in sufficiently close proximity to the toggle plate to permit the toggle plate and engaging element to be simultaneously inserted through the wall opening, with the toggle plate thereafter assuming a position perpendicular to the engaging element and subject to being drawn up on the engaging element against the wall.

Abstract: A tethered termination assures that a float is held at and below the wateir interface to dissipate the dynamic energy of surface waves. The termination is secured to a ballast from which the tether reaches upwardly to the float. Splicing a wire rope or synthetic line onto a ball and socket termination avoids bending the rope or line since all motion occurs across the ball and socket to assure a corrosion and failure free operation over millions of oscillation cycles by the float.

Abstract: A playground swing crossbar comprises a tubular extrusion having an upper portion, preferably of polygonal transverse cross section, and a lower portion of reduced dimension which is notched at its lowermost end to receive swing hangers. A rod received within a cavity defined in the lower portion pivotally supports the hangers, and caps located at the crossbar ends restrain the rod from longitudinal displacement. Recessed flat surfaces defined on the upper portion permit leg column sockets to be readily positioned and welded to the upper portion, and an embodiment of the crossbar permits spacers to be interposed between crossbars in a swing utilizing double crossbars.

Abstract: A securing or latching supporting hook comprises a U-shaped hook member adapted for rotation about a horizontal axis and having an elongated distal leg portion which cooperates with a generally horizontally extending member to provide a latching effect. The hook member is rotatably mounted such that in the rest position thereof, the hook member lies in a vertical plane with the curved or bight portion thereof in a lowermost position. When in the rest position, the tip of the distal leg portion is disposed in proximity to the horizontal member so as to prevent accidental removal of articles hung on the hook member. The hook member is rotated to a release position, wherein the distal end is remote from the horizontal member to permit removal of articles from the hook member.

Abstract: A ball and socket joint for a swing for providing simultaneous swiveling and pivoting motion in any direction. The ball is preferably molded with an inner core and an outer shell of different colored materials. As material from the outer shell is worn away in normal wear, exposure of the inner core indicates visually the extent of wear which has taken place. A retainer member placed in load bearing relationship between a support bolt for the swing and the ball is intentionally made larger than the opening at the base of the socket to prevent the swing from dropping in case of breakage of the ball.

Abstract: A swing for both arcuate and rotational motion has a disc platform for passengers and multiple, congruently attached support strands adapted for securing to a horizontal support member. The bight of a strand passes around the support member such that two free ends of the strand may pass through the disc to locks to adjustably secure the ends to the disc. The strand pairs are fixed to the horizontal support member at spaced positions on the member congruent with the position of the strands on the disc. The disc is provided with a peripheral rim having top and bottom walls. Extending through the walls are a plurality of spaced apart vertical apertures. The lower wall is provided with a depression placed adjacent each aperture. Extending across the depression and spaced from the bottom of the depression is a rigidly attached lock bar.

Abstract: Apparatus and method for lifting the top coil from a stack of coils. The apparatus includes a housing which is to be attached to the forks of the fork lift truck and a hook suspended from the housing wherein the hook is adapted to facilitate removal of a coil from a stack and its subsequent transport. The method involves the steps of offsetting a top coil from a stack of coils so as to position a portion of its inner core to overhang the cores of the remaining coils in the stack, and thereafter engaging such overhanging portion of the top coil to lift it from the stack and transport it to a desired location.
