Abstract: A ethically sound, safe, feasible, and cost-effective microsurgery practice technique that can easily be practiced by trainees having different skill levels and an adjustable device for holding and manipulating vascular tissue during microsurgery practice, especially for practicing anastomoses.

Abstract: A portable easel includes a base component having an upper surface, a lower surface, a continuous periphery and a central aperture. On the upper surface are a plurality of canvas grooves, each having a differing or discrete width and/or depth for receiving an edge of a canvas. The upper surface also includes one or more arcuate notches for retaining artist's tools, such as paint brushes, painting and palette knives, scrapers, etc. Narrow slits are variably positioned on the upper surface to receive and uprightly support canvas boards or similar thinner media. The lower surface of the easel includes a locking means for mating with canvas grooves on another easel to allow multiple easels to be compactly and seamlessly stacked for storage.

A door to the chassis is secured using latch hooks with roller bearings. Optical cable termination is provided as a two sided patch panel. Dual power supplies provide power to internal components and to external components via a distribution module. Backup power is provided by a custom battery backup with a charging controller. Cooling is controlled by dual fans and a fan controller moving air through the housing using openings and baffles. Freestanding pedestal mounting of the Access Node and various other mounts for column, wall, or ceiling to any substrate or condition is an option.

The middle plate may be temporarily attached to the base plate with an adhesive. The front panel comprised from an elastic material and a non-elastic or semi-elastic material that forms a pocket to hold the mobile device. The base plate, the front panel, the middle panel and the back panel are attached to each other by an attachment means. A reusable sticky adhesive is attached to the back panel to allow the mobile devise holder to be attached to any surface multiple times.

The processing portion allows the user interface portion to be oriented in one of a plurality of positions along the path. In one orientation of the user interface portion, content is automatically displayed to align with the orientation of the user interface portion. In some embodiments, a virtual keyboard is displayed when the user interface portion is oriented in a predetermined position. The processing portion includes sides adjacent to the rolling surface. The retractable hook is deployable as a hook when the tablet is configured as a desk, and as a leg when the tablet is configured as an easel.
