Abstract: Herein is disclosed a patio support for securely supporting an object to a patio deck. The patio support includes a base member for sitting on the patio deck, a mounting member for mounting the object to the base member, and an elongated member extending downwardly from the base member. The elongated member passes through the gap separating adjacent patio deck members and is sufficiently long that a hook formed on a lower end of the elongated member can be positioned below a lower edge of the joist supporting the deck members. The elongated member is movable between a lowered position wherein the hook is positioned below the lower edge of the joists and a raised position wherein the hook securely engages the lower edge of the joists. The patio support is further configured to lock the elongated member in its raised position.

Abstract: A fishing rod holder consists of a first panel, a second panel, a plurality of connecting members, a first strap portion, and a second strap portion. The plurality of connecting members is positioned in between the first panel and the second panel. The spacing between each of the plurality of connecting members allows a user to position a fishing rod handle in between an arbitrary connecting member and an adjacent connecting member selected from the plurality of connecting members. Since the plurality of connecting members is radially positioned, the fishing rod can be mounted at a preferred angle. The first strap portion and the second strap portion are used for attaching purposes. When the apparatus is being used with an external weighted object, the first strap portion and the second strap portion are wrapped around the external weighted object.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a blade configured for extending between adjacent floor panels and having a bottom portion thereof that defines a floor member engaging recess for engaging a bottom side of the floor member and a hook on an end thereof for engaging a vertical side of the floor member. A mount to which the blade is translatable about and engaged with a top surface of the adjacent floor panels when installed on a floor surface is provided. A linear translator is selectively directed to translate the blade relative to the mount such that the distance between a bottom surface of the mount and the floor member engaging recess is varied in order to securely receive the floor member therebetween. A related method is also disclosed.

Abstract: A fishing caddy system which generally includes a rod holder assembly having at least one rod holder which may be rotatable to different angles to suit the user. There are hooks in the rod holder assembly for receiving the fishing line and thereby preventing the wind from blowing the line around, resulting in faster detection of catches. The rod holder assembly can be mounted to a universal mounting receiver which can be placed on any stationary body. Cup holders and other accessories may also be mounted in proximity to the rod holder assembly using other universal mounting receivers. An accelerometer may also be included which detects vibrations caused by the fishing line against the hook, alerting the user via LEDs or a wireless alert sent to the user's wireless computing device, such as a smart phone.

Abstract: This application discloses a bracket device used for mounting outdoor solar lighting on various types of surfaces, including but not limited to block walls, chain link fences, wooden fences and flat walls or for holding outdoor solar lighting devices as stand-alone fixtures.

Abstract: An apparatus that holds a fishing pole in an unattended manner and utilizes a clamp that attaches to the fishing pole comprising a pair of appendages pivotally connected to a yoke in a balanced manner. Such positioning allows the pole to float or bob and enables a vertical removal from the yoke upon catching a fish. This articulating action is more likely to attract fish due to the movement of the lure. The yoke can be connected to a common tripod that sits on a bank or other solid ground near a fishing location or may alternately be fixed to various other structures.

Abstract: A fishing rod holder device for temporarily securing to a dock. The device features a mounting base, a pole holding tube extending upwardly at an angle from the mounting base, a channel aperture disposed in the mounting base; and a locking means for securing the mounting base to a dock in a tool-free and hardware-free manner. The locking means features a locking means base dispose don the mounting base, a sliding tube telescopically received in the locking means base, a shaft extending through both the sliding tube and locking means base, a first T-bar disposed on the shaft above the sliding tube and a second T-bar disposed on the shaft below the mounting base. The second T-bar can be moved upwardly toward the mounting base to compress planks of a dock to secure the device to the dock.

Abstract: A surface-mounted base for a breakaway signpost. The base is configured as a sphere so as to present no edges that may be impacted by a vehicle and includes a sunken socket ensuring that no metal shards project above grade after a post is damaged. The base is provided with recessed slots for retaining securing bolts therein. This arrangement prevents the securing bolt heads from being contacted by the undercarriage of a vehicle or mower and plow blades of maintenance machines. The slots also allow for rotation of the base during installation ensuring correct orientation of the signpost. Reflective or florescent materials can be attached to the recesses to enhance night visibility.

Abstract: A trolling system for mounting a plurality of fishing rods to extend from selected peripheral sides of a boat. The system includes a pair of mounting members attached to the deck and mounting rods extending parallel or transverse opposing sides of the boat. A trolling bar, which is secured with the mounting rods and rod supports in spaced positions. In use, fishing rods are mounted in the rod supports and extend from the stern of the boat.

Abstract: A sports pole mounting structure for supporting sports equipment in a pool environment capable of repeated assembly and removal. The mounting structure includes a bracket and a collar securely engaging existing in-ground sleeves traditionally found around pool environments and supporting sports equipment for use in a pool. The bracket is configured such that the sports pole is prohibited from rotating in the in-ground sleeve and the combination of the bracket and collar is capable of use with in-ground sleeves of varying size and shape.

Abstract: The fishing rod holder has a first rod support portion to support a bottom surface of an upper section of a fishing rod handle. The fishing rod holder has a second rod support portion to support a lower section of the fishing rod handle. The first rod support section has an upwardly facing base plate. The second rod support portion has a downwardly facing top plate. The rod holder has an opening defined therein to permit a handle of a fishing rod to pass through. The second rod support portion has a base wall against which an end of the fishing rod handle may rest.

Abstract: A dual fishing rod holder for engagement to a horizontal surface. The dual fishing rod holder has a first rod holder comprising an elongate cylinder with straps at one end for rotatably fastening a first fishing pole. The first rod holder contains a downward bend at a point on the rod holder. Additionally, a second fishing rod holder is connected to the first rod holder at a distance from the first rod holder. A first fishing pole is secured to an end of the first rod holder in a substantially downward position while a second fishing pole is secured by the second rod holder in substantially upright position. The first and second rod holders are positioned at a distance such that the fishing poles and their lines do not become entangled.

Abstract: A service trolley (1) having a pedestal (2) on which rollers (3) are provided for moving the service trolley (1) and having at least one holding surface (4, 5, 23, 25) on a support beam (6) is provided for use in a hair salon. In order to be able to carry out a dust-free production of hair coloring right next to the hairdresser's customer, it is proposed that a holding surface (4) has a device (7) for holding granulate (8) for hair coloring purposes. The granulate (8) can be dosed in a simple manner and also can still be used after longer periods of storage.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a support stand for a fishing pole holder, and is particularly adapted for ice fishing. In use, the stand holds the fishing pole in a generally upward angled position. The fishing pole is held in a pivotal position, so that upon sensing a hit on the attached line, the fishing pole tips downward. Legs, for supporting the body of the stand, can be placed in a first position or a second position, depending on the conditions of use for the stand. When not in use, the legs of the stand can be stored within the body.

Abstract: A golfing accessory for supporting a golf club away from a ground surface. The golf club has a shaft. The accessory includes a substantially elongated body defining a body first end and a substantially longitudinally opposed body second end. The body is provided with a shaft receiving recess for receiving at least partially therein the shaft, the recess being provided substantially adjacent the body first end. A ground engaging member is pivotably attached to the body substantially adjacent to the body second end for pivotal movement between a retracted configuration and an extended configuration. The ground engaging member defines a member distal tip for insertion at least in part into the ground. In the retracted configuration, the member distal tip is substantially in register with the body, and in the extended configuration, the member distal tip extends substantially outwardly from the body.

Abstract: A rod holder assembly formed from an upper flange member securable to receiving a socket mounted beneath a gunnel surface. The upper flange has concealed fastening bosses located beneath the flange member which are used to engage fastener that secure a backing plate that is coupled to the receiving socket. The backing plate can be attached directly to the lower surface of the gunnel wherein removal of the upper flange allows for refinishing of the mounting surface and/or the upper flange, without disturbing the receiving socket mounted position.

In one embodiment, a dual position flag pole bracket may include a base, a first elongate portion for receiving a flag pole, and a second elongate portion for receiving a flag pole. The first elongate portion may be disposed adjacent the base at a first location, and the second elongate portion may be disposed adjacent the base at a different second location. The second elongate portion may intersect the first elongate portion at a region of intersection spaced apart from the base.

Abstract: The fishing rod holder is adapted to hold fly rods in flush mounts. The rod holder has a first pipe section formed with an insertion opening. An inner diameter of the first pipe section enables an insertion of a fishing rod handle through the insertion opening and into the first pipe section. A second pipe section is rigidly connected to the first pipe section and projects away from the first pipe section distally of the insertion opening. A slot is formed in the first pipe section extending in the insertion direction away from the insertion opening.

Abstract: A flare holder that is attachable to a traffic cone or other upright support structure for holding a lit flare at an elevation higher than a roadway surface. The flare holder includes a lower portion that is attachable to the upright support structure and an ash receptacle that is pivoted at one end to the lower portion. The ash receptacle is can be pivoted up and over the top of the support structure from a stowed position wherein it is suspended from the pivot to an operative position located between 180° and 270° from the stowed position. In an operative position, the flare holder supports a flare at an upward inclination wherein the ash receptacle has an end portion extending outwardly from the pivot and disposed to receive ashes falling from the lit end of the flare.

Abstract: A fishing device that securely supports a fishing rod with a high degree of stability is described. The device functions to provide greater convenience for the shore fisherman and further provides a choice as to the size and type of ballast device used as an anchor for the fishing device. Additionally, the fishing device provides a means to adjust the inclination of a fishing rod relative to the earth for unattended fishing. The aforementioned benefits are achieved accomplished by providing a portable fishing device encompassing a large preferably circular ring upon which a fishing bait container (or any other weighted ballast member) is placed. Extending symmetrical outwards and on the same plane as the ring is a primary bar, attached to which are two arms: an adjustment arm and a fishing rod holding arm. A secondary bar is attached perpendicularly and symmetrically at the end of the primary bar to provide an even higher degree of lateral stability.

A first arm is pivotally mounted to the first end of the base between a first transport position within the channel and a second support position extending upwardly from the channel. A second arm is pivotally mounted to the second end of the base and is pivotal between a first transport position within the channel and a second support position extending upwardly from the channel. A cradle is attached to each of the first and second arms for supporting portions of the fishing rod when the first and second arms are in their second support positions. The offset base in the channel positions the first and second arms and cradles thereon in an over/under relationship within the confines of the base. Nubs within the base releasably engage notches in the cradles to maintain the arms at the transport and support positions.

Abstract: The invention consists of a combination of a golf club and a telescoping support assembly. The support assembly has an inner tube connected to a support section which is designed to be inserted into an outer tube that is inserted into the hollow handle end of a golf club at the vent hole of a grip. The purpose of the support assembly is to hold the grip of the club above the ground at a height sufficient to keep the grip from becoming wet. The outer tube is retained inside the handle end of the golf club by a barbed shoulder integral to the outer tube which engages with the vent hole of the grip. This prevents the outer tube from being inadvertently pulled out of the grip. The outer tube is of sufficient length to prevent the hinge between the inner tube and support section when stowed inside the outer tube from excessive movement inside the club grip and shaft.

Abstract: Various video camera supports for use in taping the swing of a golfer during real golf play are disclosed. The supports may be attached to a golf bag, a riding golf car, or used with a hand-pulled golf car. The supports may be modified to support an umbrella as well, or separate umbrella supports that accommodate using an umbrella during golf play are provided.

Abstract: An adjustable stand assembly for mounting a Christmas tree or other plant in the vertical orientation. There is a reservoir member having a spherically-curved, convex lower bearing surface which rests in engagement with a corresponding spherically-curved, concave upper bearing surface on a stationary base member. The trunk of the tree is mounted to the reservoir member and extends through a top opening into the interior thereof. The angle at which the tree extends can be adjusted to vertical by sliding the spherically-curved bearing surface of the reservoir over the spherically-curved bearing surface of the base member. The assembly may also include a separate pot member which is mountable to the trunk of the tree and which rests in the reservoir opening so as to transfer vertical and side loads into the reservoir member and the base member.

The frame is resiliently biased against a stop to prevent over-rotating and the frame is preferably offset for use with a fishing rod having an offset or decurved handle.

Abstract: A bird feeder support which is mounted to a surface including a base member. The base member possesses an open channel which is accessible from the outer surface of the base member. An arm having a first end portion, a second portion, and an intermediate portion connecting the first and second end portions, extends from the base member. The arm also possesses at least one flange which is capable of fitting within the channel. The arm is mounted to the base member to permit the flange to extend in one direction and to reverse its orientation within the channel to an opposite second direction. A bird feeder is easily fastened to the arm and is, thus, positioned in two orientations when the flange of the arm is rotated within the channel.

Abstract: A device that can be fixed to a sun deck, dock and pier by means of an inverted T fixed to the second end of said device wherein said inverted T bar is placed into the gap between the planks or boards that comprise the deck, dock or pier wherein said inverted T is rotated to wherein the inverted T extends below the underside of said planks or boards and wherein a threaded base member is turned on the second end of said device further fastening said device to the topside of said boards or planks thereby locking said device to said boards or planks for the placement of and support for fishing rods, tools, umbrellas or other devices wherein multiple fishing rods or tools may be placed at different horizontal and vertical angles relative to one another.

Abstract: A combination rod anchor and fishing tackle box formed of a bottom and molded top in which one or more recesses are formed in the top and a portion of each recess is threaded to receive an essentially hollow tube member which has a threaded external portion to mate with the threaded internal recesses of the top member and in which the hollow tube members are adapted to hold fishing rods firmly in place.

Abstract: A collapsible tripod stand for supporting an instrument in a spaced position above a supporting surface. The collapsible tripod stand will normally have a slanted main supporting member which has an upper end upon which is to be mounted the instrument and a lower end which is to be located against the supporting surface. Mounted to the main supporting member are a pair of legs which are angularly disposed relative to each other when such extend transversely to the main supporting member and are in contact the supporting surface. Each of the legs is connected by links to a middle clamp band mounted on the main supporting member with this middle clamp band being slidably movable thereon. Movement of the middle clamp band is capable of locating the legs in numerous transverse positions relative to the main supporting member or when in the collapsed position the legs are located alongside and substantially parallel to the main supporting member.

Abstract: An adjustable base to hold flag banner poles includes a base and a cylinder which can be adjusted to a certain angular degree. At the base of the cylinder a connecting table is provided for engagement with a base table with a meshing means to couple together the cylinder and the base. On the outside of the cylinder two small round loops are formed to receive and secure another small flag banner pole therein.

Abstract: A device that can be fixed to a cleat mounted on a boat, dock, deck, pier, or wherever a cleat is available. The U bar of the cleat mounted holding device is placed around the cleat, the wing bolt is inserted into the threaded hole formed in the short bar of the U bar and the wing bolt is tightened until the U bar compresses the cleat between the elongated bar and the short bar thus securing the U bar to the cleat; the pivot support bar is rotated to the desired direction and angle relative to the cleat. A fishing rod, or an umbrella, a lamp stand or any other desirable device is placed into the support tube.

Abstract: An anti-fouling device for tethering a flag or banner to a supporting member, mainly a small, house-mounted flag pole. This device includes an externally radiused, tapered housing, mounted on top end of flag pole, with a hole through apex leading into a recessed area of the housing, and a tether, with one end secured into the recessed area by way of the apex hole, and with opposite end of the tether secured to top grommet of the flag or banner. By this tether from the flag to the top of the pole, with nothing to obstruct the movement, and with freedom for the flag to move up and down and around in a 360-degree circle, and the effect of the weight of the flag being reduced by not being cantilevered from the top of the pole, binding cannot occur. This device also includes an additional tether connecting lower grommet of the flag to a floating link which surrounds a pair of guides that are positioned and secured onto flagpole adjacent to the lower grommet of flag.

Abstract: An outrigger device for use with a motorboat upon which the device can be mounted for movement between an inboard storage position and an outboard trolling position includes a tube unit, a position unit moveable relative to the tube unit and a lock unit to releasably prevent such relative movement. The tube unit includes an elongated tube, a first shackle member fixed to its inboard end, a first mounting bracket and a universal joint supporting the shackle member on the first bracket. The position unit includes a V-shaped yoke with clevis members fixed on its ends plus second and third bracket members upon which the clevis members are pivoted. One of such bracket members including a latch to lock the device in an inboard storage position.

Abstract: A tripod stand for supporting a musical instrument or other object, wherein a main post is provided with an upper slide member to which the upper ends of the three legs of the tripod are hingedly connected. A respective articulated arm connects each leg with the lower portion of the main post. Movement of the slide member up and down causes selective inward and outward movement of the legs. One of the articulated arms is longer than the others and is attached further up its associated leg than the other articulated arms. Consequently, the downward movement of the slide member causes that leg attached to the one arm to move outward further from the main post, making the bottom ends of the legs move from defining an equilateral triangle to defining an isosceles triangle and thereby tilting the main post. Greater stability can be achieved by increasing the angle between the two legs that are opposite the leg having the one longer articulated arm.

Abstract: A fishing tip-up construction for a rod on which is mounted a supporting stand having a pair of legs movable between retracted and extended positions. The rod terminates at one end in a downwardly bent grip which, together with the legs, forms a stable three-point support for the rod. A fishing line is wound on a reel that is supported on the rod between the grip and the stand. A signal device is movable from an inactive position to a signalling position in response to the application in one direction of a force on the fishing line. The force required to effect movement of the signalling device to the signalling position is adjustable.

Abstract: A stand for Christmas trees comprised of a base plate with a pair of spaced-apart upright brackets mounted thereon. The tree holder receptacle is pivotally mounted between the upright brackets so that is can move about a horizontal axis in order to orient the tree trunk to a generally vertical position. A pair of locking levers are associated with the upright brackets so that they can be releasably clamped to orient the tree holder receptacle in any desired position. A set screw is provided to accept the tree into the tree holder receptacle.

Abstract: Disclosed is a striking rod holder for mounting to a boat, fishing chair or rocket launcher. The striking rod holder includes a first plate, a rod holding tube attached to the first plate, and a second plate for attaching to a surface, where the first plate pivotally attaches to the second plate. A cushion material may be positioned between the first plate and the second plate. A locking device can further be included with the striking rod holder to maintain the tube in a fixed position. Also disclosed is a method to convert a non-tilting rod holder or a flush-mounted fixed striking rod holder into a tilting rod holder.

Abstract: A fishing rod holder includes a generally U-shaped frame having right and left legs and a base leg connected between the right and left legs. A U-shaped support frame is operably connected to the legs of the first frame so that the support frame will pivot about an axis extending between the connecting points of the support frame to the first frame. A rod retention plate is connected between the legs of the first frame and includes a pair of elastic bands which are stretchable to form loops to frictionally hold the handle of a fishing rod. A pair of guide members are connected to the base leg of the first frame to retain an upper portion of the rod when the rod is retained by the elastic band. An extensible arm extends between the base leg on the first frame and the base leg of the U-shaped support frame, so as to selectively stop the pivotal movement of the support frame to prop the first frame at the desired angle.
