  • Patent number: 11885139
Abstract: A mounting device or bracket for paneled building surfaces is disclosed. The mounting bracket includes an upper wall in the form of a flat surface for supporting various types of attachments. An elongated mounting slot extends through the upper wall, and the mounting bracket includes an elongated nut receptacle that is positioned below this elongated mounting slot. With an attachment being positioned on the upper wall, an attachment fastener may be directed through the attachment, then through the elongated mounting slot, and then may be threadably engaged with a nut that is positioned within and movable along the nut receptacle in its elongated dimension. The elongated configuration of the mounting slot and nut receptacle provides adjustability for the position of the attachment fastener relative to the mounting bracket, including after the mounting bracket has already been installed on the building surface.

  • Patent number: 5042773
Abstract: A merchandise display device for supporting merchanise, advertising materials or the like, having a one-piece deformable body with a support portion for engagement with a support member, such as a paint can, and a display portion for supporting the merchandise, advertising materials or other display items. A fastener clip is also provided for securing the body member in a folded display position, and for maintaining the support member and display items in clamping engagement with the body member. The support and display portions are formed by juxtaposed first and second halves of the body member, when the body member is folded together and the clip or clips are engaged with free halves of the body member in display position. The first and second halves of the body member are substantially mirror images of one another. A central axis divides the first and second halves and intersects a mid-point at the fold in the body member in the display position.

  • Patent number: 4736921
Abstract: A clamp for releasably securing a lock to a bicycle frame is disclosed. The clamp is formed as a unitary body of a hard yet resilient plastic material, which unitary body defines a pair of spaced tubular openings: one to fit about the frame and the other to hold the lock. The pair of tubular openings are axially split at their respective outer peripheries, with an arcuate segment being removed from each tubular opening along the respective splits. A pair of opposed parallel shoulders extend astride each of the splits, with each pair of shoulders featuring fastening means. Preferably, the plastic material is nylon. Preferably, one of the pair of spaced tubular openings is tapered along its axial length.

  • Patent number: 4718628
Abstract: An adjustable shore frame is disclosed which has a first sleeve member adapted to slidably receive a major length adjusting vertical support member and a second sleeve member adjacent to the first sleeve member and adapted to slidably receive a minor length adjusting vertical support member. First adjusting members are adapted, in association with the first sleeve member, to longitudinally releasably engage a major length adjusting member relative to the first sleeve member to provide major or rough adjustment of the overall length of the shore. Second adjusting members are adapted, in association with the second sleeve member, to provide for continuous instantaneous extension or retraction of the minor length adjusting vertical support member longitudinally relative to the second sleeve member to provide for minor or fine adjustment of the overall length of the shore.

  • Patent number: 4706921
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a base support for an antenna mounting post and a method of installing the same in the ground. In one preferred embodiment the base support comprises two clamping members which may be positioned and secured about the outside diameter of a post after the post has been inserted into the ground to the appropriate depth. Each of the clamping members includes a pair of angularly adjustable guides each adapted to receive and support a rod that is driven into the ground to provide stabilizing support for the post. The angularly adjustable guides allow the rods to be driven into the ground at a variety of angles and, in the event an obstruction such as a rock is encountered while driving the rod, the rod may be withdrawn, the angle of the guide altered, and the rod reinserted into the guide and driven into the ground once again.
