Abstract: An antitheft device includes a cover, a base plate, and an adhesive element. The base plate is located in a receiving space of the cover and is adapted for a controlling element to connect thereto to release or lock the cover and the base plate. The base plate is able to be adhered onto an object to be secured by the adhesive element. The adhesive element is also located in the receiving space of the cover so that the adhesive element is prevented from being removed or broken easily.

Abstract: A display fixture for securely displaying a mobile device includes a cross brace and at least two corner members. The cross brace defines a center portion and arms each radially extending outwardly therefrom and terminating in a free end opposite the center portion. The at least two corner members each include a first substantially planar wall, a second substantially planar wall, and two sidewalls extending between substantially linear closed edges of the first substantially planar wall and the second substantially planar wall. A cavity is defined by each of the at least two corner members and is configured to receive a corner of the mobile device. Each of the at least two corner members is secured to a different free end of the cross brace such that an opening to the cavity of each of the at least two corner members faces the center portion of the cross brace.

Abstract: An apparatus for securely displaying an electronic device is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a support, a frame coupled to the support, a case, and a securing device removably coupled to the frame. The frame has a frame base and at least one retaining feature coupled to the frame base with at least one of the retaining feature and the frame base defining a frame slot. The case is formed of a polymeric material and has an opening for at least partially encapsulating the electronic device while permitting the face of the electronic device to be exposed through the opening. The securing device has a securing base and a locking feature selectively mounted to the securing base with the locking feature at least partially defining a securing slot. The frame slot and the securing slot cooperate to securely retain the case to the frame for preventing theft of the electronic device.

The seat is disposed on the main body. The receiving member is rotatably disposed on the seat. The receiving member is rotatable between a locking position and a unlock position. The socket holder includes a positioning bump located on one of the seat and the receiving member. When the receiving member is rotated, the positioning bump is alternatively exposed outside the socket holder to buckle the socket or received in the socket holder to release the socket.

Abstract: A system for securing an item is disclosed. The system may include a securement device and a lock. The securement device may include an elongated member having a first end and an opposite, second end. The securement device may further include first and second brackets. A first bracket may engage the first end of the elongated member and extend to engage or bracket a first portion of the perimeter of the item. A second bracket may selectively occupy a locked position with respect to the second end of the elongated member and extend to engage or bracket a second portion of the perimeter of the item. At least one of the first and second brackets may comprise an extension engaging the item and resisting side-to-side motion between the securement device and the item. The lock may engage the second end of the elongated member and hold the second bracket in the locked position.

In a securing position, movement of merchandise (130) contacts the security device (160). In a retrieval position, the security device (160) is rotated away from the peg hook (114) such that movement of merchandise does not contact the security device (160) and merchandise (130) is removable from the hook (114). In a locking position, the security device (160) rotates away from the hook (114) by continuing contact with the merchandise (130).

Abstract: A kit and method for preventing theft of wires interconnected within a pull box includes a steel cover plate having a downwardly protruding cup which has a central perforation in its base that receives the upstanding shank of a J-bolt anchored in concrete poured into a bore made in the floor of a pit holding the pull box. A template plate inserted into the open upper end of the pullbox has a central hole which receives the shank of the J-bolt while the concrete is hardening to maintain the pull box centered on the J-bolt, removed after the concrete has hardened, and replaced by the cover plate which is secured in place by tightening an oval external cross-section security nut onto the upper surface of the cup base plate using a novel socket wrench.

Abstract: A securing device for securing portable electronic devices and the method of using the securing device are disclosed. The securing device has a plate assembly, a post assembly and a main bar. A portable electronic device is inserted in-between the plate assembly and the main bar. Thereafter, the post assembly is rotated from a first position to a second position which is perpendicular to the length of the plate assembly. While in the second position, the post assembly prevents the rearward movement of the portable electronic device. The main bar prevents the upward movement of the portable electronic device. The plate assembly has a recessed profile that allows airflow through the bottom portion of the portable electronic device while being secured with the securing device.

Abstract: A cradle assembly for supporting a tablet or other electronic device, such as in the cockpit of an aircraft. The cradle assembly includes a tablet retention assembly, a locking assembly to secure the tablet within the cradle assembly, a docking assembly for cooperating with the tablet and an optional integrated power supply. The tablet retention assembly includes a slideable plate that moves longitudinally relative to the main cradle assembly body to securely support the tablet.

Abstract: A chassis assembly includes a chassis, a supporting bracket, and an anti-theft device. The chassis defines a slide slot. A stop hook is formed in the slide slot. The supporting bracket includes a stop block. The stop block slides into the slide slot and supports the chassis. The anti-theft device includes a slide plate, a pivoting member, a resilient member to rotate the pivoting member to an angle relative to the slide plate, and a fastener. A position hook extends from the pivoting member. When the pivoting member is parallel to the slide plate, the slide plate and the pivoting member enter the slide slot. The pivoting member is released when the slide plate abuts the stop block. The resilient member forces the position hook to engage with the stop hook. The pivoting member and the slide plate are held together with an anti-theft fastener.

Also disclosed is a mast with mechanical means for increasing cable tension in order to secure its tripod base to a surface of attachment.

Abstract: An anti-theft/safety hanger is provided with a plate body having an U-shaped wedge portion. The wedge portion includes a wedge corner portion on one of sidewalls and is connected to the plate body via a connecting edge. The wedge corner portion is movable between a first position and a second position. When the connecting edge is uncut-off, the wedge corner portion is located in the first position and the wedge portion is relatively undeformable so that a socket sleeved around the wedge portion is limited and detachable. When the connecting edge is cut off, the wedge corner portion is pushed and blocked by a blocking corner portion of the plate body so as to be located in the second position. The wedge portion is depressed, and the socket is thus unblocked by the wedge portion and detachable.

Abstract: A securement system is provided that permits the secured locking of an ultra-portable laptop computer without requiring the use of a universal security slot. The system includes an edge member that has a body channel intersecting a screen channel formed on a face. When the laptop is open, the edge of the laptop screen fits within the screen channel and the edge of the laptop body fits within the body channel, with the edge member being positioned astride the hinge between the screen and body. A cross member connects the edge member to an opposite edge member engaged over the opposite edge of the laptop. When secured, the system cannot be removed from the laptop, since the two edge members are prevented from movement due to the cross member and the channels.

The traveler selectively moving through a range of motion with respect to the extension. The range of motion of the traveler may contain one or more blocking positions wherein the traveler confines the anchor to one or more extended positions. The system may further include a lock engaging the extension and confining the traveler to one or more blocking positions.

The pedestal may allow for extension of the cable by pulling the article away from the pedestal and/or the drum. The pedestal, the system and/or the method may allow for extension of the cable using a spring.

The actuating mechanism is configurable between locked and released configurations. The actuating mechanism includes rotatable actuator having a blocking portion with at least one protrusion extending radially further from a rotational axis of the actuator than other parts of the blocking portion. The interference locking member is coupled to the main body and has an engagement surface for selectively engaging the blocking portion. The engagement surface can abut the protrusion in the locked configuration to prevent rotation of the actuator relative to the locking member. The securement member is operably coupled to the actuating mechanism and configured to move toward a secured configuration when the actuator is rotated in one direction and move toward a released configuration when the actuator is rotated in an opposite direction.

Abstract: The invention described here is an improved retail display. The display includes an anchored mount (“anchor”) attached to a base portion of a display stand or countertop surface. The display includes a clamshell holder that provides a security puck. The security puck is connected to an under-side surface of an electronic product offered for sale to the public. A coiled power cord interconnects the anchor and the puck and thus tethers the product to the display as it is lifted from and returned to the clamshell holder during the course of a consumer's examination of the product. The coiled power cord has a continuous spring steel coil embedded therein, which makes it difficult to cut the power cord.

Abstract: A cable retainer assembly for use inside utility pole base assembly. The cable retainer is anchored to the foundation using the same bolts as the pole base. The cable retainer discourages pole-to-pole cable theft by securing the copper conductor cables to the foundation and pole base plate below the handhole in the pole. Access to the clamps of the cable retainer may be prevented by including a blocking structure positioned between the cable retainer and the handhole in the pole base.

A shelf display accessory unit can include a top panel with a top surface configured for displaying an item of goods, and a bottom surface which is opposite the top surface, that includes a module that houses a cable. The shelf display accessory unit further can include a front panel having a display surface that is configured to display a label, and a back panel having a supporting surface that includes means for coupling the shelf display accessory unit to a front portion of a shelf. In embodiments, the shelf display accessory unit can include a cable that has one end anchored to the module and the other end connected to the item of goods. In embodiments, the shelf display accessory unit further can include a flap coupled to the front panel and configured to secure a label to the front panel of the shelf display accessory unit.

Abstract: A securing device for a tablet device has a main seat, two positioning rods, two first resilient elements, two driving sliders, two sets of holding legs and a lock. The holding legs hold the tablet device. Consequently, the securing device is unable to detach from the tablet device. Thus, as a cable of the lock is looped around a post, the tablet device is secured at a specific position and is not stolen easily.

Sliding blocks are mounted to each pair of guide pins. The sliding block also carries a vertical arm that may be adjusted upwardly or downwardly. Adjustment of the sliding blocks relative to a hand-held allows the security bracket to be used for mounting hand-helds with different footprints to a retail display.

Each pocket has a ramp on each side placed diagonally across for each other with a ramp stop for turning the ring into alignment with the pocket as the retractor pulls the ring into the pocket.

Abstract: Fastener retainer brackets and related assemblies and methods are disclosed. One example fastener retainer bracket includes a mounting portion and a restricting portion coupled to the mounting portion. The mounting portion defines a plurality of openings structured to receive a plurality of fasteners received in a support structure. The restricting portion is adapted to permit tool access to heads of the plurality of fasteners when the plurality of fasteners extend through the plurality of openings of the mounting portion. The restricting portion is adapted to contact the head of at least one of the fasteners to inhibit removal of that fastener from the support structure.
