Abstract: This is a mounting support that secures an electrostatic marking machine to the deck of a ship or other structure. This support provides vibration-isolating systems for shipboard mounting of these marking machines. The US Navy has imposed strict one-man, short-time requirements to mount and unmount electrostatic marking machines on a ship's deck. A key feature of the present embodiments is a double-threaded stud that lifts the machine off the floor onto the isolation mounts while securing it to the mount which is bolted to the ship's deck. The present configuration satisfies the new Navy mandate.

Abstract: In a hard disk drive (HDD) or an electronic apparatus in which the HDD is wrapped with a foam resin sheet with a noise absorption effect and a metal outer casing to thereby damp noise, a sub-assembly wrapping body incorporating therein the HDD wrapped with a wrapping body composed of a slippery film sheet with foam resin sheets attached thereto is mounted into the metal outer casing through the slippery surface of the slippery film sheet. In order to insulate a noise generated from a recording and reproducing drive apparatus such as the HDD, the system for use with the HDD and the electronic apparatus can simplify the assembly process required when the HDD is loaded into the outer casing serving as a noise insulation box through a noise absorption member.

Abstract: A damping element for a shoe, especially for a sports shoe, having at least one first element which extends essentially in a load direction over a pre-determined height in the unloaded state of the damping element, and is embodied as a hollow body defining a receiving area in which an associated second element with a smaller cross-section can at least partially penetrate. The second element extends essentially in the load direction over a pre-determined height in the unloaded state of the damping element, and is arranged coaxially in relation to the first element. To improve the damping performance of the shoe, the second element is also embodied as a hollow body and the two associated elements are interconnected by means of an elastic connecting section which only extends between the first-element and the second element so that the elements together form a gas-tight chamber.

The first casing is folded such that the folded first casing is disposed to cover the upper surface of the second casing. The electronic appliance is carried under the state that the display section is closed. Swollen portions each having a void space included therein are formed in the four corner portions of the second casing. The swollen portions expanded outward are formed contiguous to side portions with sloped portions interposed therebetween. The distance between the swollen portion and the side portion is determined not to be smaller than the braking distance that is determined from a prescribed dropping height.

  • Patent number: 6622975
Abstract: A suspension device has a carrying region, at which it is to be connected to a carrying structure, and also a flexible load beam which essentially consists of elastomer material, is disposed between two articulating zones and has a centrally disposed centre of load distribution. At the latter, the load acting on the said load beam branches out towards the two articulating zones, which in turn are each connected to the carrying region by a carrying leg. The two articulating zones lie in a common transversal plane which extends transversely to the direction of action of the load. The centre of distribution of load is disposed, in the non-loaded condition, between the carrying region and the transversal plane, and the load beam is adapted to approach a stretched position in which the centre of distribution of load lies in the said transversal plane when the load increases and is directed away from the carrying region.
