For Plural, Interrelated Machines Patents (Class 248/639)
  • Patent number: 4317556
Abstract: A light weight chassis or skid for a turbine or engine-generator combination has a relatively narrow central beam section with laterally extending wing portions which are provided with mounting pads for the engine and the generator. The chassis is supported on a supporting surface by three resilient motor mounts, two of which are connected to wing portions and the third is positioned under the center line of the beam portion and under the engine. The three mounts enable securing the chassis to irregular surfaces without twisting the chassis and affecting alignment problems of the engine output shaft and the generator shaft, which misalignment can cause bearing wear and other maintenance problems.

  • Patent number: 4313112
Abstract: A computer work station assembly comprises a display having a viewing screen, a display actuator, and mounting apparatus for supporting copy material and at least the display with respect to a work surface such that the display actuator, the copy material, and the display may be disposed in line with the viewing screen of the display disposed relatively above and longitudinally spaced from the display actuator so as to minimize reflections on the viewing screen which would distract a work station operator and so as to position the display viewing screen at a predetermined focal distance from a work station operator.

  • Patent number: 4305563
Abstract: A turntable support for supporting the keyboard and visual readout of a computer terminal on a work station having several work positions. The support includes a base for being pivotally mounted on the work station and a carriage for being slidably attached to the base. The keyboard is supported on the carriage and the visual readout is supported on the base. The base can then be rotated on the work station station to allow the visual readout to be viewed from any of the several work positions and the keyboard can then be slid out to that work position.

  • Patent number: 4222546
Abstract: A portable workstand primarily designed to support a plurality of different types of reloading presses and related equipment to allow a variety of operations to be performed on metallic cartridge and shotshell cases without the necessity of changing presses. The workstand includes a base which is universally mountable to the hub portion of tires to varying sizes and a top plate that is provided with a plurality of particularly shaped slots and a variety of mounting hole patterns which together cooperate to allow substantially all conventional reloading press equipment to be mounted thereon with up to about four reloading tools or combinations of presses and tools being simultaneously mountable.

  • Patent number: 4138079
Abstract: A platform for supporting a motor-pump combination is molded as a unitary structure and includes a primary support and a detachable secondary support. The primary support includes a supporting surface formed at a first radius, and the secondary support includes a supporting surface formed at a second radius and a cavity adapted to receive the primary support. The platform, which retains the cost advantages attendant to one-step molded structures, may be readily converted from a platform for supporting a motor having a first radius to a platform for supporting a motor having a second radius by detaching the secondary support from the platform and mounting it over the primary support.
