  • Patent number: 8234937
Abstract: A torque sensor includes an adjustable platform vertically adjustable to place a sensing module near a rotating target to obtain measurements there from with a sensing element. The apparatus can be configured to include a bottom channel mounted to a base and a PCB tray mounted to a top channel, the PCB tray and top channel vertically adjustable from the base by a rotating shaft. The top and bottom channels are coupled to side bars and side channels in pairs movably connected by joint pins with a rotatable shaft movably connecting said joint pins. The sensing module is movable with respect to the base via rotation of said rotatable shaft causing movement of said pair of side bars and side channels, placing said sensing element nearest a target to obtain rotational movement data.

  • Patent number: 7909303
Abstract: A movement device (1) having a Stewart platform includes a movable platform (9) that has platform joints (8) connecting it in an articulated manner by at least six rods (6) to a base (3). The rods (6) have base joints (7) resting in an articulated manner on carriages (4, 5) that can be displaced in the longitudinal direction on rails (2a, 2b) that are fixed to the base. Each carriage (4, 5) has a dedicated drive, and the carriages (4, 5) can be moved independently of one another. Exactly two rails (2a, 2b) are provided, and each rail (2a, 2b) supports at least three carriages (4a, 4b, 4c and 5a, 5b, 5c).

  • Patent number: 7328879
Abstract: A bearing washer is inserted into a horizontally elongated recess formed within the top flat surface of an upper tapered wedge of a support assembly through which equipment is adjustably positioned on a foundation. The upper wedge is vertically and horizontally adjusted in slidingly positioned contact with a lower tapered wedge along inclined surfaces within a recess formed therein before attachment of the tapered wedges to each other by horizontal fastener bolts extending through the upper wedge and the lower wedge. In such adjusted position of the wedges, a convex surface on the inserted bearing washer is in contact with a concave surface within a recess formed in the top surface of the upper wedge to support the equipment in close spaced relationship thereabove. Slidable adjustment of the wedges is limited by a recess shoulder in the lower tapered wedge to avoid excessive loading of the fastener bolts under severe shock and vibration conditions imposed on the equipment positioned on the foundation.

  • Patent number: 7234675
Abstract: A vertical guide unit is built in modular construction in which a wedge guideway member has raceway grooves cut directly in guideway member while a slider fits over the guideway member for relative movement in a sliding manner. The guideway member has an upper surface extending slantwise with respect to a horizontal lower surface and the raceway grooves are cut slantwise on at least widthwise opposing sides near the upper surface of the guideway member. The slider is recessed at the middle thereof to have widthwise opposing wings to fit over the guideway member for sliding movement. The vertical guide unit is built in between a bed and a table to provide a stage system in which the table is allowed to go up and down as the slider moves in and out relatively to the guideway member.

  • Patent number: 4290167
Abstract: An articulated hinge for the pivotal connection of a door leaf to the carcass of a furniture piece from whose carcass wall a frame protrudes at right angles, which frame has an end face delimiting an unobstructed door opening. The hinge has a door-related mounting part pivotally connected via a link mechanism with a carcass-related mounting part which comprises a flange plate which holds the linkage mechanism and which is detachably connectable to the end face of the frame. Below the bottom side of the flange plate facing the frame end face there is an adjustment plate which is displaceable by a predetermined measure relative to the flange plate in the longitudinal direction of the frame end face.

  • Patent number: 4220326
Abstract: This invention relates to improvements in a slide support structure. The slide surface is comprised of a plurality of curved and straight segments, joined end to end to form the slide surface. The support includes a plurality of bearer support segments corresponding generally to the slide segments. The invention here relates to the spaced bearing connections between the two which allows for relative vertical and horizontal movements to align for and adjust for minor differences in the curvature of the related slide and support segments.
