Abstract: A structure for mounting ancillaries on a vehicle wherein one end of a first bracket in a plate form extends downwardly and is fixed to a body frame and the other end of the first bracket supports a reservoir. In addition, the first bracket supports the regulator in the proximity of the reservoir. The reservoir attached to the forward end of the first bracket functions as a deadweight which, because of the inertia of the deadweight, suppresses the vibrations of the forward end of the first bracket due to vehicle traveling and engine rotation. Thus, this structure suppresses and attenuates the vibration of the regulator attached to the first bracket.

This mounting device engages a singular point or a plurality of points provided for this purpose, to allow quick disconnection of the engine, so that the engine may be used on other implements conveniently. Because a single engine is to be used on various implements, provision is also made (on each implement) to support the rotating (work piece or transmission shaft) via an auxiliary spindle assembly on the implement in the absence of an engine. Further, provision is made to transmit torque from the engine through this auxiliary spindle shaft via a flexible coupling arrangement. Further, provision is made to transmit the motion (generally push-pull) of the throttle cable, where applicable, to the engine, also in a quick-disconnect manner.

Abstract: A measurement device includes a base extending along a longitudinal axis, an input connector configured for attachment to a shifter assembly of a vehicle and a clamp configured for attachment to a linkage support bracket of the vehicle. The measurement device measures the linear displacement of a linkage interconnecting the shifter assembly and a transmission of the vehicle in response to movement of the shifter assembly between a first position and a second position. A scale is attached to the input connector and slideably supported by the clamp. A scale reader is attached to the base for measuring linear movement of the scale in response to movement of the shifter assembly between the first and second positions. Preferably, the scale and the scale reader comprise a digital measuring unit having a digital display for displaying the measured linear movement.

Abstract: A link-fuse joint resists bending moments and shears generated by seismic loading. A joint connection includes a first plate assembly having a first connection plate including a first diagonal slot formed therethrough. A second plate assembly has a second connection plate including a second diagonal slot formed therethrough. The second diagonal slot is diagonally opposed to the first diagonal slot. The second connection plate is position such that at least a portion of the second diagonal slot aligns with a portion of the first diagonal slot. A pin is positioned through the first diagonal slot and the second diagonal slot. The joint connection accommodates a slippage of at least one of the first and second plate assemblies relative to each other when the joint connection is subject to a seismic load and without significant loss of clamping force.

Abstract: A gutter dumping assembly is actuatable to rotate a gutter from an initial, upright position to a downwardly-facing dumped position in order to dump debris from the gutter. The actuator is coupled to the gutter support by a flexible structure so that, after the actuator positively forces the gutter to an over-center position, the gutter falls to a dumped position under only the force of gravity. The gutter is supported by a number of spaced brackets, each of which includes an upper leg that is inclined downwardly and forwardly from the rear of the bracket so as to be hidden from view and to channel rainwater falling into the bracket into the gutter as opposed to against the building or outside of the gutter.

Abstract: A fan fixing structure for holding a fan and fixing it on a housing is provided. The structure includes a guide piece secured on the housing, a cover plate, a resilient piece and a positioning element. The cover plate is pivoted on the guide piece and pivotedly rotates between an open position and a closed position. When the cover plate is in the open position, it further shifts to an engaged position. Therefore, the fan is moved into the guide piece by the guidance of the guide piece, and then fixed on the housing by pivotedly rotating the cover plate to the closed position and moving it to the engaged position. Meanwhile, the fan is stably located in the engaged position by the proper arrangement of the resilient piece and the positioning element. The object of easily assembling, fixing and disassembling the fan without tools is achieved.
