Abstract: Archery artisans using 21st century composite horizontal and parallel split limb bows have had little success in adapting old technology to use. Specifically hanging one of the aforementioned 21st century style bows and how to control the involuntary lateral movement across rough, large textured hardwood tree bark while using a hanger that partially encompasses a hardwood tree branch. Solving this problem lead to many other unique and novel ideas, such as a wider contact patch instead of a contact point, using non-concentric tangently connected arc segment that have a 3-dimensional concaved scalloped design so an archery artisan could feel what position said bow was hanging without looking away from the hunted prey. Another unique solution involved a protruding registry tip needed so an archery artisan could feel a different position when the hanging apparatus is almost released and able to clear a stationary or swaying hardwood tree branch.

  • Patent number: 8477483
Abstract: An electronic component and method for manufacturing thereof allow efficient separation of a mother substrate into electronic components defining individual devices. The method includes forming a conductive layer including electrodes and pads for a plurality of devices, an insulating layer that partially covers the conductive layer and that includes pad openings surrounding the pads and exposing at least central portions of the pads, and power supply lines that connect the pads of neighboring ones of the devices in the mother substrate. Power is applied to the power supply lines, and electrolytic plating is performed. Thus, plating layers are formed in the pad openings. Subsequently, external terminals are formed on the plating layers. By cutting the mother substrate, the mother substrate is separated into individual components defining electronic devices. Divided surfaces of the plurality of power supply lines are formed on each of the components so as to be separated from one another.

Abstract: The present invention includes a unique magnetic coupling that can be used as a drink identification system as well as a myriad of other useful purposes. In one embodiment, two magnets are connected by a connector. Each of the magnets have at least one surface with an opposite polarity from the other magnet to induce a magnetic attraction. When the magnets are close in proximity, they come together due to the polarity, and effectively produce a loop. The magnets can be attached to the rim of a cup. Decorative charms attached to a small ring or loop can be put onto the connector. Alternatively, the decorative charm can have a magnet attached to it. The charm can then be magnetically attached to the outer magnet of the coupling. A monogram or name tag can be substituted in lieu of a decorative charm. The magnetic coupling can be used for other purposes, such as securing objects in a drink (a decorative umbrella or drinking straw).

Abstract: A tab can be secured to the pliable face of a carrier or other article in order to hang the carrier or article from a slot. The carrier may be a personal carrier with carrying straps, such as a backpack or a bag with carrying handles. The slot can be furnished by a downwardly directed vent slot on a locker door, by a slotted bracket, or by some other slotted device. The disclosed tab is secured at its upper end, reaching a location on the tab at least one quarter of the way from the upper end toward the lower end. The tab normally lies flat against the pliable face, but this face is flexible to allow the lower end of the tab to articulate away from the pliable face. In some cases clothes can be loaded into the personal carrier before inserting its tab into a vent slot in a locker door. The tab is inserted to a depth sufficient to prevent the lower end of the tab from articulating upwardly enough to allow the tab to disengage the vent slot.

  • Patent number: 7669742
Abstract: A tactical device holster (TDH) system is described that is a complete carry and deployment solution allowing for split-second deployment of hand-held non-lethal/lethal deployable devices (HNLDD) by tactical personnel. The TDH system allows tactical personnel to deploy HNLDDs without having to disarm because deployment requires only a single hand, and the TDH system indexes the HNLDD in the proper position for deployment. The TDH system allows the HNLDD to go from secure carry to deployment in under one second while not impeding the deadly force option during deployment. The TDH system keeps the fuze lever of the HNLDD fixed in a pre-specified position. The HNLDD is not altered for use with the TDH system and allows quick insertion of the HNLDD. The TDH system supports numerous HNLDDs and tactical pyrotechnic and incendiary devices, and can be fixed to various tactical clothing, vests, holsters, equipment, and vehicle components.
