Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide various quick release hose guide designs which can be attached to, or removed from, a work machine with less effort than conventionally required. Exemplary embodiments of the hose guides include a sleeve which slides over a post on the work machine when hydraulic hoses of an attachment are to be connected to the hydraulic system of the work machine. A quick release pin is inserted through apertures in the sleeve and in the post to secure the hose guide in place. A snap clip connected to the pin can then be used to help insure that the pin remains in place. In some embodiments, unlike conventional hose guide designs, the hose guides remain with the attachment or implement hoses when the attachment is removed from the work machine.

  • Patent number: 7083116
Abstract: A double boom arrangement for use in a car wash includes a first and a second boom assembly mounted side by side on a respective rotatable coupling so that a horizontal portion of the hose of each boom can rotate about a vertical axis in a generally horizontal plane with the remainder of the hose extending downwardly from the horizontal plane at an outer end of the boom. Each boom has a parking arrangement for moving the boom and the hose to a parked location extending 180 degree away from the other boom. The boom includes a first inner and a second outer boom portion with the inner and outer portions connected by a second swivel coupling parallel to the first and spaced outwardly therefrom. The inner boom portion is mounted on a bracket for pivotal movement about a horizontal axis and constrained by two horizontal springs above the pivot axis. The springs are mounted at opposite ends of a rod bent around the pivot axis where each is compressed as the first boom portion pivots downwardly.

  • Patent number: 7040581
Abstract: A comfort enhancer for supporting a CPAP mask and hose is designed to be portable and deployed on any standard bed. The support has a bi-pod base placed between the mattress and the inner spring of the bed. An upright pole, removably attached to the base and adjustable in height, carries hose clamps. A bracket attached to the top of the pole has a cantilever arm pivotally attached by a spring loaded pulley. The cantilever arm also carries hose clamps. The comfort enhancer supports the air hose at a distance from the bed and above the head of the user allowing the hose descend vertically to the user. The cantilever arm pivots to compensate for the movement of the mask and the spring loaded pulley absorbs the shock to the line.

  • Patent number: 7025311
Abstract: A low profile support for mounting and supporting electrical fixtures in an outdoor setting. The apparatus includes an elongated body having side walls and a closed top. The closed top includes an aperture that may be threaded or may include an electrically conductive bushing. Stabilizer bars are provided on the lower portion of the elongated body for anchoring the apparatus to the ground. The stabilizer bars are integral with the body to lower production costs and also to minimize separation of the bars from the body when the support is anchored in the ground. A wide cable entryway is provided in the lower portion to accept electrical feed cables. Cables are pulled into the junction box and the lower portion of the body, including the stabilizer bars, are buried in the ground. An electrical fixture may be mounted to the bushing by simply threading into the top threaded aperture or bushing.

  • Patent number: 7017676
Abstract: A support assembly is configured to carry a series of flexible lines associated with operation of an agricultural implement. The agricultural implement generally includes a main frame bar pivotal about a platform. The support assembly includes a mounting bracket, a support arm and a holder assembly. The mounting bracket is pivotally coupled about a vertical axis to the agricultural implement. The support arm is pivotally connected at one end to the agricultural implement, and connected at the other end to the holder assembly. The support assembly is configured to hold the plurality of flexible lines above the platform as the main frame bar pivots about the platform of the implement.

  • Patent number: 7013922
Abstract: A one-piece body attachment guides and secures the distal end of a recreational vehicle sewage discharge hose relative to the inlet of a relatively stationary sewage receptacle. Two vertical, spaced apart, parallel sidewalls and a rigidly connected end wall form a partially enclosed space that receives a horizontal portion of the hose, an immediately downstream ninety degree bent portion of the hose and an immediately downstream vertical straight portion of the hose. Abutments are rigid to the sidewalls to interfere with relative movement of the hose and attachment by being located above the bottom edge a distance substantially greater and/or substantially less than one-half the distance between the inner faces of the sidewalls, which are spaced apart a distance substantially equal to the diameter of the hose.

  • Patent number: 7007901
Abstract: The present invention provides a microphone support which includes a restriction groove 520 between a universal ball 50 and a mounting member 70 in order to restrict the rotating angle range of the universal ball 50 rotating with the axis line of a pipe through-hole 510 centered, so that the direction axis L of a microphone is restricted to have a designated swinging angle range with the talker side of the microphone centered. Therefore, no breaking wire by wire-twists is generated, and since the microphone is prevented from facing to loudspeakers owing to careless handling, no howling is also generated.

  • Patent number: 6918415
Abstract: A lift as a personal tool used manually to lift portions of a fuel hose successively, equipped to slide along the fuel hose as a user walks erect as the user moves along the fuel hose progressively causing residual fuel in the fuel hose to drain out the hose distal end, away from the fuel truck. The lift includes a handle adapted for grasping by its user separated from a fuel hose support by a bar depending from the handle forming a C-shape with an open portion opposite the bar and a trough opposite the handle. A roller disposed to roll on the hose support has a radially extending flange on each roller end maintaining the fuel hose central on the roller. In use, the user walks in erect posture from the truck along the fuel hose with the lift hanging from the user's downwardly extending arm. As the hose leads to the ground and before the hose reaches the ground, the hose moves into the lift trough engaging the hose at a hose engagement level several inches above the ground.
