  • Patent number: 8076575
Abstract: An electrical box assembly for mounting a security camera or an electrical fixture on a wall or ceiling. The electrical box assembly includes an electrical box with a sidewall and back wall defining an enclosure therein. A flange extends laterally from the rim of the sidewall. A plurality of rotatable flags, adjustable from the front of the electrical box assembly, are tightened to secure the assembly to the wallboard in a ceiling or wall. Wall preparation for installation of the electrical box assembly requires only a round hole in the wallboard, which can be easily provided by a hole-saw. Recessed areas in the sidewalls of the electrical box enable retracting of the flags to enable easy insertion of the sidewalls within the hole in the wallboard. An adapter plate enables the mounting of a security camera to the electrical box assembly.

  • Patent number: 8063302
Abstract: An electrical mounting device for securing an electrical component or fixture on a wall. The mounting device includes a front plate with an opening therein and a rearward extending portion surrounding the opening. The rearward extending portion may be in the form of a peripheral wall with an open back or a peripheral wall with a rear wall defining an enclosure therein. Bosses with oversize apertures are provided in the plate for accommodating mounting fasteners. Clamp arms are secured rigidly to the ends of the mounting fasteners. The peripheral wall is dimensioned slightly less than the diameter of a standard size hole-saw. The clamp arms can be adjusted to a retracted position for insertion on a wall or to an extended position for securing the electrical mounting device to a wall. The electrical mounting device significantly reduces the time required for mounting an electrical component on a wall.

Abstract: The wall plate bracket is for a high voltage outlet, and includes a wall plate having front and rear surfaces. The wall plate has an interior opening. A support housing has an inner surface and an interior region bounded by the inner surface. The support housing is connected to the rear surface such that the interior opening provides access to the interior region. The support housing is configured for support of the high voltage outlet within the interior region. A clamp is connected to the wall plate for securing the wall plate to a wall structure. The rear surface of the wall plate may have a rib to limit the clearance between the support housing and rear surface. Alternatively, the clearance may be limited by a recess in the rear surface in which a mounting tab of the support housing is located.

  • Patent number: 8035029
Abstract: A double containment electrical junction box is interfaced with electrical equipment in an equipment enclosure containing harmful contaminants, such as noxious gases and odors generated in a wet well containing a submersible electrical pump that pumps waste water from the well. A lower container contains electrical wiring connected to the pump, and is in gaseous communication with the well for enabling the contaminants from the well to enter the lower container. An openable upper container contains electrical junctions for the electrical wiring from the lower container. Cable and integrity seals between the containers prevents the contaminants in the lower container from reaching the upper container, to prevent migration of the contaminants away from the lower container.
