Hollow For Confining A Heat Producing Or Heat Retaining Medium Patents (Class 249/200)
  • Patent number: 9352985
Abstract: The present invention discloses an electrolytic apparatus comprising: an electrolytic bath in which an anode (I) of a silver electrode—a cathode (II) of an inert electrode—an anode (III) of an inert electrode are arranged in this order in parallel to one another, and an electrode pair of the anode (I)—the cathode (II) and an electrode pair of the cathode (II)—the anode (III) have an electrical circuit configured to apply a potential of 2.07 V or more to the electrode pair of the cathode (II)—the anode (III) to supply electrolytic current, when independently supplying the electrolytic current; an electrolytic raw water supply pipe configured to supply electrolytic raw water into the electrolytic bath; and an electrolyzed water extraction pipe configured to extract the electrolyzed water in the electrolytic bath to the outside.

  • Patent number: 4721278
Abstract: A reusable hot top includes a shell having an aperture therethrough providing an inner wall. The shell has an upper end portion and a lower end portion which seats on a mold. A liner comprised of an insulating material is positioned in the aperture and is movable relative to the upper and lower end portions. Insulation is sandwiched between the liner and the inner wall and prevents heat conductance between the liner and the shell. Pins extend from the inner wall and are engaged with and support lugs extending from the liner and thereby maintain the liner in the aperture when the shell is lifted from the mold and the pins are disengaged from the lugs when the shell is seated on the mold. A thermal seal is disposed around the bottom of the liner and contacts the mold. The seal prevents the liner from contacting the mold and thereby prevents heat conductance between the liner and the mold.

  • Patent number: 4515341
Abstract: The ingot mould comprises a hot-top positioned inside the upper part of the mould and comprising an inner wall formed by at least one plate of a material capable of withstanding contact with a molten metal poured into the ingot mould, without being melted or fused. The thickness of the inner wall is less than that of the wall of the mould, at least one recess is provided inside the upper part of the mould wall and the inner wall of the hot-top is placed in the recess, with its surface essentially flush and aligned with the inner surface of the mould, so as to form a closure wall separating the interior of the recess from the interior of the mould.

  • Patent number: 4452049
Abstract: An ice product is disclosed having improved liquid displacement characteristics and which is of a configuration which provides for splash resistance and resistance to bridging between adjacently stored products. The apparatus and method for producing the improved ice product is disclosed in the form of an ice making machine having one or more combination evaporator and ice form assemblies, each of the assemblies being provided with a plurality of pockets or recesses in which the ice product is formed during a freezing or refrigeration cycle, the ice products being subsequently discharged to an associated storage area during a subsequent harvest cycle.

  • Patent number: 4238105
Abstract: A heated mold panel for casting concrete has a rigid base providing a base surface, a substantial part of which is grooved by interconnecting grooves, has a continuous heating element laid in the grooves, and the base surface is covered with a non-porous, non-corrosive material that provides a smooth outside surface covering the base surface, spanning the grooves and enclosing the element in interconnecting passages defined by the grooves and the covering material. Sufficient clearance is provided in said passages around the element for air to flow freely from passage to passage, whereby heat flow from the element to the concrete poured against the outside surface is by radiation from the element and by convection of air flowing in the passages around the element.
