  • Patent number: 10245757
Abstract: A mold extractor assembly for use with a concrete products forming machine of a type having mold mount shelves and a feed box assembly mounted behind the mold mount shelves and moveable in a vertical and horizontal direction to dispense concrete into cavities defined within a mold box mounted on the shelves. The mold extractor assembly comprises a guide rail assembly horizontally oriented along and vertically moveable with the feed box assembly. An extractor arm assembly is moveable along the guide rail assembly in a horizontal direction toward the mold mount shelves. An extractor fork assembly is telescopically nested about the extractor arm assembly and configured to extend a horizontal reach of the mold extractor assembly to beyond the mold mount shelves so that the mold box can be lifted off of the mold mount shelves via the extractor fork assembly and carried forwardly to a mold transfer assembly.

Abstract: A mold, process of using the mold to form a block, and the resultant block are disclosed. The block may of course be connected to other blocks to form stuctures such as walls. The blocks and structures may have curved features for simulating a log structure. The mold and process utilize cemititious material for forming a the block, which has a pair of block members, one of which has a curved outer face. The block members are separated by a central insulation space and connected by rods extending from each block member across the central insulation space. The mold has a body including a pair of block forming cavities. Each cavity has a material ingress-egress opening adapted to receive a block forming composition and to output a block. The block forming cavities are separated a predetermined distance by a space forming central cavity. The mold also has a block ejector movably connected to the body. The ejector has a plate member associated with each cavity, and a handle.

  • Patent number: 7331776
Abstract: An impression device for food items. More particularly, the present invention is a stamping device designed to create images upon a variety of foods for decoration and/or marketing purposes. The stamper device of the present invention has the general appearance of a traditional rubber stamp, with large knob at the top to quickly adjust the depth of embossings. Small wings beside the knob provide an instant feature for orientation and comfortable ergonomic grip. The device provides both an emboss-only mode, and emboss-and-cut simultaneously mode, much in the manner of a cookie cutter. A simple snap means located at the bottom of the device functions to change such modes. Under the base of the device is a “socket set” style snap-in stamping die. As is the case with the roller device, the stamper device may be utilized for: 1) standard messages and images; 2) snap-in letters, which allows the user to assemble his or her own custom message; or 3) custom logos, messages, and images.

Abstract: A mold device and method for producing a rough texture on all or a portion of the outward exterior surfaces of masonry block units. The device of the present invention is a mold having one or more cavities, open at the top and the bottom, with a rigid support platform or sheet across the bottom, to hold the masonry mixture in place until discharged through the bottom of the mold. On a portion of the interior sidewalls of the mold, are substantially vertical ribs extending from the interior surface, creating voids in the compacted mixture. An extension or “stripper” unit extends inwardly along the base of the portion of the interior wall containing the vertical ribs. A top plate configured to fit removably within the interior walls of the mold cavity is provided to compact the masonry mixture and to push the masonry unit out of the mold and simultaneously clean the mold.

Abstract: A method of forming concrete integral box shaped modules provides dimensional accuracy and sustains closer tolerances thus permitting surfaces of adjacent modules to match. The method utilizes a standard fixed box frame with vertical walls that can be easily reset after forming a module. The method includes the steps of constructing a fixed box form with four vertical rectangular sides and a top horizontal surface, top trays extending out from top edges of the rectangular sides and bottom trays extending out from bottom edges. Corner fillers are placed in vertical corner spaces formed by the four vertical sides, steel mesh and rebar is laid on the vertical sides and in the trays, the trays are then filled with concrete and concrete is sprayed onto the vertical sides. The module is steamed to set the concrete, the trays are removed and the module is raised initially by jacking to release the module from the box form.
